The only time I got to see Cheap Trick was when my then-boyfriend took me to Rick Nielsen's house back in 1981. The band came over to practice, and Robin sang "I Love You Honey But I Hate Your Friend" to me. I'll never forget that day!

Agree! But as the front man for Cheap Trick I much preferred his classic white suits to this Chief of the Dream Police outfit. Super talented rock vocalist and that's not an easy thing.
How in the world is nielson and Zander not in the top 100 for guitarists and singers its a damn crime

The only thing that tops this in my opinion is Steve Walsh playing with the guys at Wichita in 1985, and witnessing him upstage Rick, doing handstands on the keyboard WHILE PLAYING!!!

so cool that you posted this, ive been looking for this forever. Im the blonde one singing the "would you like to go to heaven tonight" lines in "heaven tonight" and the really high stuff at the end. This was the best show ive ever been a part of, such an amazing night. Best new years ever!

This was one of the craziest shows I ever attended. Free booze (included in ticket), NYE and Florida is a wild mix! One guy used his girlfriend as a battering ram to clear out the front row. Just a sample of the evening.
Robin singing Auld Lang Syne was exciting and the second time I've heard him sing it!

Wow! I loved this show! Can't believe it turned up on UA-cam. THe orchestra and the choir really filled out the music but the band was awesome as always. I was there and actually turn up in the video singing along to Surrender. It was a last minute decision to go to the show solo and still had a great time with all of the Trick fans. I would love to see this officially released. Great memories

How have I missed this concert all these years. Love small venues. Saw them at the Glass House in Pomona Ca. Don't ask what year. LOL

Met Robin and Rick at Perth Airport few days ago leaving to go home after a series of gigs here in Australia, these guys are gentlemen respect the music and the men behind the music.
this was in the top 5 of my new years experiences, i just loved being at this show and getting to hear so many of rick and toms special riffs on many of their instruments that don't make it out to every show. i wish there was a higher res version that we could watch.
Bloody brilliant always been awesome live and still are! Awesome to hear and see Way of the World 👏

Closing in on 4 decades since I bought One on One and I still haven't got a clue what I Want Be Man is about. This is fantastic show and looking at their website CT have got some great archived shows. I wish they would get an "official bootlegs" release happening. Soon. PLEASE.
