Pretty rough going. DId it with brute blood for better or worse, took about 2 hours straight. The worst part by far for me was the homing blood missiles, only thing i could really figure out was using the illusion guardian ult to help tank a few. The Phase 3 in Brutal is frustrating. He'll summon servants to heal and then there's Dracula's heart, It will give you Dracula's blood if you consume it. This blood type is kinda fun and unique. If I remembered correctly it kinda gives you a chance for a free cast as well. What helped me through that phase was lightning curtain and phantom aegis barrier.
I broke my spells into the 2 phases. Phase 1 I take void and blood fountain (for cleanse) Phase 2 I take void and skeletal shield to block the rapid fire blood orbs in the quadrant section.
Anyone miffed by the amount of prep needed should bear in mind that it is the last main boss. Of course it's going to need you to put most of a playthrough's accumulated resources into the one fight.
40 hp pots is overkill when you already have bloodfountain or any other healing spell. Even the shield spells with a T3/4 jewel can have healing on them. Drinking the potion also leaves you vulnerable.
If you are still struggling. Run brute blood with shadow armour. It heals you on melee weapon damage. I personally use the whip. Also its way easier to learn the fight solo. I solod it till i was conformable helping people in large groups.
Youre dodging his attacks totally the wrong way (by keeping a distance). With a counter spell (i use 2), you counter his melee moves and then run 120 degrees or so behind him. Then you can pound him with melee until he turns to face you because all his melee attacks require him to face you. Them he telegraphs his enxt attack and you counter spell and repeat. Doing this, you can be hitting him almost constantly with melee and all his standard moves are very easy to avoid.

I've been playing on Brutal difficulty with my friend, we've had no issue with most bosses, with half of them being beat up first try and other taking up to 7 tries to defeat at most. But Dracula on Brutal is on a whole new level. We couldn't even manage to dent the first 25% of his health meanwhile he deals 200-500 damage with each attack, meaning he can basically 2-3 shot us. Are his numbers in Brutal a little too overtuned? Or are we missing something? @@edijssaltais1634 You can adjust the grindy-ness of the game, in the server options before starting the game, if you're hosting private games. You can also do the same thing with dedicated servers, but you need to find an edit the server host file or something. :P i used that to REMOVE durability on gear, because this game hasn't balanced durability loss, or repair costs for the higher tier stuff properly.
The game takes a snap frame of you BEFORE you enter the shadow realm. It resets you to that point after you die. So drink your blood potion BEFORE you enter the shadow realm and you always reset back to that. If you drink a new blood type in the shadow realm it will reset you back to what you were before you entered. It's actually kinda a nice thought from the devs cuz unlike other bosses, this allows you to just bang your head against the wall over and over with little repercussion.
btw, real tip, run chaos and frost counter, and enjoy the fight Might have to switch for phase 3 tho as u'll need some dps for the adds but i guarrantee y'all, the fight will be easier that way
Well, it's not a perfect fight, the homing orbs that don't always home in on you are the only dumb design choice i can personally think of. All his other moves are actually easy to avoid, Dracula follows a lot of Dark Souls boss principles... Which the exception of those homing orbs that sort of home in on you, and also sort of don't.
No, it just shows how much "some" gamers have progressed in skill in the last 20 years. Denathrius is a complex encounter if you say compare it to Onyxia. (Which, at the time, gave the best players in the world a significant challenge and a complex dps rotation back then was spam frost bolt. ;) ) It requires a lot of precision and coordination. For someone who has been raiding for 20 years, yeah, it doesn't feel hard, but for people who are relatively new to the game or gaming, in general, an encounter like that feels incredibly challenging. This is one of the fundamental struggles gaming has these days is that for a player who has spent 10,000 hours practising a given game (or genre) it is quite a challenge to create an encounter that is challenging to them while also making it accessible to people who have not put in that much time. I was raid leading during patch 1 of SL and I can see why so many people can struggle on a fight like that. The veterans, sure, on normal/heroic its pretty straight forward but to newer players that's a really overwhelming thing. To presume that people are braindead because they can't beat the end boss of a modern wow raid is just elitist bull shit. Overall it just shows how little compassion a lot of the wow player base has for anyone who hasn't dedicated thousands of hours over the course of decades mastering the game.

This fight on console with controller is just ridiculous the aiming is so inaccurate with the right stick
Dracula on brutal = wtf...
they've been playing lost ark
Dracula was SO much easier than Adam, holy cow. Did the entire game solo if that matters.
How are you Gear Level 92?
All Dracula gear, legendary weapon, max necklace, and brute blood
tried to beat him at gear lvl 84 barely prepared and couldnt get him to half hp, i see that its not a option haha
get a legendary weapon, and make as much of the dracula set as you can, and wear the best soul shard you can, whilst having 100% bruteblood, you should be at level 91, and you should be able to get dracula down to second phase reliably... Those erratic homing orbs in 2nd phase are the bane of my existence, lmao, i can not figure them out, lol.
@@MyouKyuubi thanks for the tips but i was playing with my friends and they didnt want to spend so much time grinding just to beat dracula and they left it as is, i wont be able to do it myself too as the server was my friends and i wont start from scratch, new game it is :D
@@edijssaltais1634 You can adjust the grindy-ness of the game, in the server options before starting the game, if you're hosting private games.
You can also do the same thing with dedicated servers, but you need to find an edit the server host file or something. :P
i used that to REMOVE durability on gear, because this game hasn't balanced durability loss, or repair costs for the higher tier stuff properly.
Thanks for giving me a reason to stop playing this game
OP
Why Dracula is reseting every try my blood? that f*ck me
The game takes a snap frame of you BEFORE you enter the shadow realm.
Can i kill Dracula solo ?
yes and its arguably easier
and phase 3? Why didnt he talked about????
'cus there's only a phase 3 in brutal difficulty, which he didn't feature, obviously. :P
Only masochists play on brutal difficulty bro.
btw, real tip, run chaos and frost counter, and enjoy the fight
Might have to switch for phase 3 tho as u'll need some dps for the adds
but i guarrantee y'all, the fight will be easier that way
holy crap
I thought it was three phases ?
Only on brutal difficulty
The homing missile phase is bs
Put this game on console or game pass please
PS5 release some time this year
Makes a guide for 2 players lmao
"some Brave Fool out there will be able to solo the boss" oh you salty.
This is a very poor guide. You don't actually teach the moves. The entire first phase is easily no-hittable if you learn his patterns.
One of the worst boses I fought in my gaming history....
You need to play the new Hades 2🤍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just released our video on it :)
Is it any good? I loved 1st part
caio
This is a horrible guide, if one goes by skill selection.
Dracula is an awful fight. It’s the worst designed boss fight I’ve ever seen in any game.
Well, it's not a perfect fight, the homing orbs that don't always home in on you are the only dumb design choice i can personally think of.
All his other moves are actually easy to avoid, Dracula follows a lot of Dark Souls boss principles... Which the exception of those homing orbs that sort of home in on you, and also sort of don't.
als Single Player keine Chance ... Müll
and people struggled against Sire Denathrius with dedicated healers and tanks lol just goes to show how brain dead alot of wow playerbase truly is.
Overall it just shows how little compassion a lot of the wow player base has for anyone who hasn't dedicated thousands of hours over the course of decades mastering the game.
yeah but this is ... normal! Who cares about NORMAL
i do, go back from whence you came, masochist!
bro you gotta stop randomly showing your face in the video.
Why? Is he so ugly that you can't stand seeing his face? xD
to summarize... you have 0% chance to beat him in Normal mode and -999% chance to beat him in Brutal 😵💫
