Haha. I've been lucky. My boyfriend's cat has never bothered my altar. The most he's done is hide underneath it, and once I stupidly left catnip in the offering bowl...you can imagine. My dog, who is rather rowdy and nosy, also never bothers it...I suspect he might be my familiar when he fully matures.
i remember when i was still in the broom closet. every night, at like 11 pm, when i knew my parents would leave me alone, i'd grab all of the stuff i had for my altar, mostly hidden on top of my closet, set it up, light my incenses and candles, pray and then take everything apart again, open the windows as far as possible so my mum wouldn't smell the incenses and smoke from the candles and hide all of my stuff again. stressful af.
I still live w my parents. It’s weird because my mom supports me and she’s the kindest mother ever , but my dad hates what I do so I hide it a lot and my mom helps me lol it’s like our little secret
For a long time I couldn't have a alter because I have a extremely religious family and they refused to let me participate in any other religion. One day only 3 hr after I set up my alter I can home any my family throw out everything. Everything! All my crystals, my book, all my candles. They even went through my stuff and found a box where I keep all my important stuff in. Everything I owned was gone. It was devastating. But now that I moved out I can finally have one. It took me over a year to fully get my alter complete
I know I shouldn't say this, but if my family do the same to me I will break every cross or religious thing they possess. It's a bad thing to think, but I can't help it.
I definitely recommend not rushing your altar! You will find things that call to you that you know should be on your altar. Don't feel like it has to be all done at once, sometimes that can make it less personal.
Yeah I have been practicing for a year and my altar was very small at the beginning now I can stand in it and it has built in storage for all my supplies
I myself am a Christian, but I'm fascinated by other religions and their respective lore, traditions, beliefs, I'm intrigued by it all. So thanks for a great video, and thanks for showing us something so personal and sacred to you :) Also you're beautiful ;)
I'm sorry that the Christians you know or have heard of have been so cruel, but believe me there are a lot of Christians like me out there who love and respect others' beliefs, without feeling compelled to impose our faith on them. I mean, if people ask me about my beliefs I certainly don't hide it, but I won't shove it down anyone's throat, and I know there are many others who are the same ^-^
Joseph R ...I respect you're belief. I use to be Christian, and I still believe in a higher power; however, it is not your right to say jack shit about someone else's faith. Are you so arrogant as to say that you or your God have all the answers?? You are naive, and a fool. It is you that has to 'repent'. Because you shouldn't be following a religion or any religion that contradicts someone else's happiness... Sincerely, a witch who apparently is gonna 'burn in Hell'...
Pink guy those women weren't actually witches...they were innocent women accused of some bogus so called 'evil' by paranoid, extreme, fanatics like yourself. That type of thinking is ridiculous.
I have been struggling with my beliefs for years and your videos have drawn me toward the Wiccan religion and I feel so connected to the things you talk about. Your energy and guidance make me feel extremely eager that I may have found where my beliefs lie! ❤
Knight Aaron I praise God for believers like you that truly care about the lost lambs. So glad to see the love of the Heavenly Father reaching out without criticism or bashing. The kingdom of Heaven is so near and many Christians have fallen asleep. But the war against evil is real and Jesus is all the power and wisdom we need to benefit anyone. I hope you are strong and well. May God bless you for speaking the unhindered truth to the ones who, in a way, believe they are seeking it. May they knock on the Fathers door before it's too late to enter into peace and freedom.
@@awk30lb well you think witchcraft is dangerous it's not what you think it is yes some is bad but what this amazing person it teaching is is not bad at all she's 21 now and i haven't seen any bad things happen to her not all wiccans do bad things most do good for themselves and others I understand your trying to get people to be Christian but if Morgan feels that she connects with this way of life then she should do as she needs a wiccans law is harm ye none to as ye will which is saying wiccans don't harm any person or nature that do not harm that protect nature and respect it i got to say but I've never met a ride wiccan ever but I have met a rude Christian so plz do not say stuff about wicca if uneducated
I'm sorry, but I have a pet peeve: pentacle = a pentagram inside a circle (penta cle, pentacle, like a combo of the words) pentagram = the star that has magickal correspondences
i’m christian myself, but i’m really intrigued by the religion of wicca. i really like how nature is a huge part, and i might practice some parts of the wiccan faith to grow my relationship with nature :)
SAME! I’m a Confirmed Catholic but I am SO drawn to nature and the craft and maybe wicca as well (its all new to me, I have some figuring out to do). Anyways I’m planning of celebrating Litha with my friends 😁💗💗
Currenly i have a banndana, an Amythyst and a candle. I set it up in a weird way. My mom doesn't notice caus i through it under a blanket if she comes in.
There are a lot of different symbols, and explaining some of them would take at least an hour. So many different beliefs and their symbols!!! -Dies of frustration and a blown up head-
I was subscribed to you many years ago because I found Wicca interesting, but I didn’t practice. This year I felt it calling to me so I’m now binging your videos again, they are incredibly helpful! I find Wicca to be so spiritually healing and motivating and the community is so accepting and kind. I’ve even found a couple friends to practice with. So excited to see what it brings!
i’m 2 years late but i use only candles, incense and a handmade pentagram in the beginning because i can’t afford crystals. i also draw a few sigils around it.
I’ve been on and off into Wicca for years and only now I have an altar, don’t rush it. As soon as you feel ready you can get stuff. But the reality is that the altar is a tool, so it’s not needful to have. Take your time darling ❤️
I can help. You make up the purpose of the spell (make sure it's within reason), then you select your ingredients according to what you want to do. For example here is one of my spells. White Candle Healing Spell: 3 White candles a glass of water a sprig of lavender Arrange the candles in a triangle around the glass of water Place the lavender in the water light the candles chant this twice: "Blessed divines, Gods and Goddesses Hear my plea, send one of your own out to me. Heal (Whoever you want to heal), make them realise what you have done." Add "Mote it be after you chant those words twice, blow out the candles and give the lavender to whoever you want to heal. Done!
"have as many candles as you would please at your altar" [pauses the video] [turns to look at my altar and the 9 candles on it] [looks at the other 10 candles on the shelf near my altar]
I was afraid this channel would be super pretentious and you were simply doing this to be Instagram "hip", but turns out, you are actually awesome and genuine. I subbed, and I wish you all the best on your Wicca journey :) Blessed be!
I’ve started to set up my alter on my windowsill right next to my bed for multiple reasons 1) It’s right next to me bed and even since I have started setting it up it’s made me sleep better (I have my crystals next to my head) and I feel more safe in my bedroom. 2) In the afternoon the sun shines directly into my window/onto my windowsill 3) During the night, full moons ALWAYS is visible from my window 4) It has a wonderful view of my small garden and it just makes me happy
Speaking of altars. I remember when I was about ten I set up an altar. I remember one particular time begging my mom to do some type of ritual or spell, I feel like it was to do with faeries or something I'm not too sure. But it was just funny, because my mom supported this1, but didn't practice herself. Our great great great gramma and aunt were witches and healers, so we come to it naturally. But she felt so silly doing the ritual with me. Lol this video just reminded me of this funny little moment, especially since I don't see my mother Anymore. Thank you for making videos like this, harmony. I think I'm going to start back practicing actively.
I'm a Christian, but your videos are so lovely and informative! My roommate last year used to read tarot cards for me and cast protection spells in our apartment :) anything that promotes good in the world is awesome :) blessings!
You are lovely,Harmony! Would you consider making an absolute beginner Wiccan video? What is needed to start, which books can be accurate and serious to begin with, how to practice? Thank you 🌹
Frank289100 May I say that if you know what you are saying why are you still talking. Everything that you had said in that reply did not help anyone let alone yourself. You yourself are sinning and defying against God by criticizing and spewing your hypocrisy around. Also, if you oh so hate the Wiccan ways, why are you commenting on this video and why did you click on this video? Did you click on it so you can just come here and criticize? Did you come here just because you are curious? But either way, before you share your mind, make sure you mind is in the right place, because you obviously do not understand a single thing about Wicca. Keep it to yourself, Thanks.
Frank289100 1. Wiccans aren't Satanists for goodness' sake, they work with nature, not the devil. 2. Why are you even here if you are against the religion? Oh, wait, to talk crap about Wicca and then preach your religion onto others, which doesn't help at all and only pushes people away from your religion. 3. There is a rule for spells, where if you cast any spell it bounces back to you three times (something similar to that, I still have lots to learn) so why would people even try hexing others if they will accidentally hex themselves three times worse? 4. In the video Harmony literally says "We don't sacrifice animals" 5. Wiccans cannot even summon demons in the first place.
Your a gorgoues atheist, but I respect your opinions and views. As a wiccian, I do find other beliefs interesting. The issue I find is that everyone wants to push their beliefs on you, and that is a huge turn off.
I've seen other witches do this as well, but as someone who's broke af, I'd get a single ritual knife to use kind of all purpose as an athame so that you don't have to shell out extra money for a knife to cut things with. It's a money saver to have one sacred knife and historically those who used knives in magic (save for the rich and noble, obvi) used only one knife as that's all they had. Personally, I'd keep ritual knives away from mundane knives, but I'd still say don't get too caught up in having a kajillion knives. Just have what you need, what's practical, and anything you're drawn to, especially when you're tight on money.
That’s a great idea however an athame is meant for cutting things in the spiritual plane and a boline is for cutting in the physical plane. I personally use ornate cheese knives for both!
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus blood washed away my sins.
I always knew I was different and this just makes sense. Everything about it feels natraul I've always had gifts.. But only as I matured I understood who I was and what I believe..
Romy an eclectic witch forges their own path and isnt set to one sect of beliefs but rather bits and peices of them all. what makes sense to them and feels right is what they believe. (disclaimer this may be not quite the answer they wudve given you but this is what i call my belief system so I thought id add my input)
thank you so much, I'm finally finding something that explains or gives me a way to describe myself. I always choose what resonates with me but felt like an impostor for not being %100 something.
Romy No way! witchcraft is about making your own path and gaining/sharing knowledge and experience wherever you go. Let no one tell you that your not a believer just because you dont adhere to a strict set of beliefs.
I know is a super old video but I would just like to thank you. I grew up atheist, my dad is Christian but didn’t want to push any religion on to me because he believes it’s best for people to find their own paths, and honestly when the time came and I decided to start researching different religions, I had a really hard time finding something that I could connect to on a more spiritual level and not a surface level. Your videos have given me excellent insight into what Wicca can look like. I’m a visual learning so watching videos on top of reading is how I’ve been researching everything and I think that I finally found a fit. I like how Wicca centre’s around belief in nature and the Horned god and triple goddess are two deities that I truly feel connected too. I’ve started to set up a small but good for now altar. I don’t have many items but it’s still a nice place for me to meditate and read more about this amazing religion. I’ve decided to study as much as I can for a year and 1 day before trying any spells or anything just so I have some background information. So thankyou, thankyou for showing me what was missing from my life and how I can slowly integrate certain aspects of Wicca into my life. There is no words to describe your gratitude 🖤🤍🌒🌕🌘
I’ve had a semipermanent altar for years and kinda didn’t realize it. I have witches in my blood, though I’ve only been recently looking into it. I’ve always had a stone bear, that I’m strongly connected to and find great comfort in I find it steering me in the right way often. I carried a small box with amethyst crystals, the bear, and sharks teeth necklace my close uncle gave me. I felt way more comfortable with it close by, and would often fiddle with a band I had around the box when in distress. I later got an amethyst crystal necklace, my whole life amethyst have been a recurring thing that always soothe me. I wouldn’t have an altar without one.
I am a college student and so I move across country regularly. Because of this I have several items that I set up by where I am sleeping, but I have a small trunk that is several decades old in which I keep everything. I take it with me and it butterfly opens beautifully with an old mirror inset in the top. I consider this trunk my altar.
I am a Christian. But I was raised to respect other people's beliefs and religions. I recently came across your channel from a friend in my world religions class a while back and I was just curious on what drew your attention to this religion? I've came across 1 Wiccan (Sorry, I don't really know all the names. I don't mean to offend), but I was always too scared to talk to her, since I grew up in a religion where this was considered "wrong." **Again, I don't mean to offend anyone by this comment, I am curious about this religion and have a small mindset when it comes to it**
I was a dumb 10 year old, really, but got into the less fluffy parts of wicca and paganism as I aged a bit. I also never felt like I was doing things right or ever truly saved in Christianity.
my family is full of buddhists and wiccans so i just kinda grew up with it. Wicca it’s such a loving, open and free religion so i never really thought i should stop calling myself one. and most importantly, i believe and have faith in the Goddess and Father. Your religion should make sense to you, make you feel loved and welcomed, and be something that you can look to when everything seems to be going wrong.
Hey! I'm a Wiccan/Witch now but I grew up in a different religion. I understand how it can be intimidating to talk to us because of how we're portrayed in the movies/books and general media. But I can assure you that Wiccans/Pagans/Witches are actually super open and nice. Well, they're bad people everywhere but most of us are nice lol
Can I just say I LOVE your hair? I love how it's a little for lack of a better word "messy" I'm a sucker for that look. Your style is epicly inspiring.
Harmony, I really have to say how much I enjoy your videos. Whenever I see that you've uploaded, I take some time for myself, watch, relax and have some tea. Your videos always put me in such a relaxed mind set and remind me to stay connected with myself and nature. 🌈🌷❤️Thank you for sharing your alter with us! Keep doing you! 🌻🌲🌌
Little tip for anyone who like me worships multiple deities: I personally have little dishes that I've colour coded for my diffrent deities which I place offerings in for each. Since some gods/goddesses are extremly picky with what they like (*cough cough* loki and freya *cough cough*) i like to keep their offerings separated from others
I just want to say thank you, thank you for all of your videos and everything you are about. I recently decided that I will embrace the faith that just makes me feel at home. Wicca, and i found your videos and watching them made me feel less stupid or a failure starting out. You make me feel so welcome and loved and i am so happy so thank you.
I love wiccan things but i'm afraid something bad would happen if i do some mistake :/ so i rather don't try anything and just have things placed (like stones, feathers, herbs and candles) around :D
There isn't really nothing to worry about in Wicca. It's a modern nature-based religion that embraces magic. The only energies you'll be tapping into is the divine feminine & masculine, the elements of nature, and the energy within yourself. Keep in mind that Wiccans have the belief of the Threefold Law (whatever you send out, you get back times three).
Although I'm not someone who has believed in God. Never has a religion pulled me as much as wicca. I believe in everything having and energy and soul, and especially karma. There is definitley greater powers out there, and I cant wait to practice this amazing religion!
Hi Christians who think witchcraft is bad, can you ✨stop✨ telling us to find Jesus? It’s rude and shouldn’t be here to be here if you’re gonna do that 💕
Hey girl, just wanted to say I have been totally binge watching your channel these last two weeks. I find you just a super relaxing person to listen too, super love all the content on your channel, I kind of stumbled upon it by accident, I think UA-cam suggested you after I had watched a bunch of witch speed paints by one of my favourite artists. Totally in love with all you are putting out there, paranormal stories are my fav, and witchcraft has always been an interest of mine. I also personally adore the longer videos, I tend to watch your videos while I do the dishes or paint, and I enjoy not having to flip through too often. So thank you so much for inspiring me lately, definitely looking forward to all your future videos!
Moving house right now and I have an extremely simple semi-permanent altar. I'm carrying my simple essentials with me in a little box, and my altar itself is a candle and some incence resting on a paper bag. It's simple but it works for now, never feel like your altar has to be marvellous, as long as it's special to you it is perfect
Could you plz do a video on wands? I've always been aware that they are used in magick but i have no idea how to use them or where to start? I love you!
Please do one on circle casting, and pendulums! This was amazing, I finally made my altar a little while ago, I need to add some stuff to it. I don't have a wand yet, or a cauldron.
Update! A stick came to me in the same place as I saw it ages ago, I happened to park next to it twice weeks apart, so I decided I had to have it! It's on my altar until I have time to plan how I will whittle it down to make my wand!
totally don't worry about spending money on an altar! everything on my altar is either little dolls i happened to have, crystals and rocks i've found outside, and empty spaghetti sauce jars to hold my herbs! all in all i've probably spent less than 30 dollars over the 10 years i've been a witch. the only thing i absolutely think you should have is a cloth because it makes it so easy to move things around. mine is just a fabric scrap and you absolutely don't have to spend money on it this could be an old tshirt or towel. basically my altar is on the far right of my desk when i'm not doing a spell and when i want to do one all i have to do is slide the cloth to the middle so i'm sitting comfortably in front of it. i know the allure of fancy tools (i'm a sucker for them myself) but honestly i connect so much more with tools i've made or found myself.
Sorry, I'm a newbie to this stuff and just starting out in fully transitioning into the wiccan religion, but are candles required for your altar and rituals? I'm in my early teens and my parents don't really trust me with fire and I feel uncomfortable explaining to them why I need them. (I'm still in the "broom closet") Is there a substitute I can use?
If you are still looking for some ideas, you might try electric candles, I know around Halloween time there's electric tea candles near the pumpkin carving section ( I would think stores would have them in the craft section other times a year) and they'd be a good way to avoid fire but still have candle on your altar... and nice thing about electric candles they don't burn, so if you want different colors all you have to do is put paper or Ribbon or something of the like around the candles for different colors, hope this helps😁 ... p.s. I don't know your situation, but maybe try and feel out your parents and see how they react, they may be more understanding then you think
No they are not my parents also dont trust me with candles I have a large and complex altar and I dont have any candles but if you can you should it would be so much easier if I could
you might not need to burn the, just say you like the smell. I know personally, I started by asking my mum if I could burn a candle and just watch it. Soon enough, she let me start using candles in my room.
SugarandAcid Kitten its an arabic tadition, as far as im concerned, passed through generations. try to find something on that line! of course you can mix studies to compose your knowlege, but history wise i wouldnt say tea leafs reading is part of Wicca
SugarandAcid Kitten she might dabble in tea leaf readings. It seems like she tries new things often and in her newer intros she does have tea swirling around in a cup or bowl.
I haven’t been here in a hot minute... My Wiccan journey went on pause 2-3 years ago do to some personal issues... but after discovering your channel again I hope to continue my path 🦋
At my altar I have a golden candle to represent the God (left)and a silver candle to represent the Goddess (right). These are taper candles to they're in candle holders, though I do use mostly taper candles but I don't have candle holders for each. I put my athame on the side of the God, as it is a projective "masculine" tool, it represents the phallus. The chalice is the feminine counterpart of the athame, representing the womb, and the element of water. Water is feminine, so is earth. Wind is masculine, as is fire. I keep a red or white candle on the bottom right of my altar (the place on the pentagram for fire), with a small bowl of water above it. The bottom left is a small bowl of salt for earth, and a feather above it for wind. I keep various bottles on the Goddess side as a place holder for them basically, they're also feminine (bottles, cups, they're feminine) I have a statue for Cernunnos and Hecate on my altar beside my deity candles. Behind all this a giant mirror. My altar is set up on my desk and there's a mirror on it. Not only is it very beautiful but I think it DEFINITELY helps in my magick. Early on I learned with sigil work you should say "I am confident" not "I want to be confident" as the deity is reflective, and this will come back to you (as spells do, they come back/change your reality)
Wow girly I don’t even know what to say!!!! You have helped me so much to feel more confident about diving into the faith. I have always been so intrigued with the Wicca faith ever scene I was young, and you have served as such a role model for me. I still need to learn a lot but I now really feel like I can practice in what I believe in. Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for addressing semi permanent alters, I myself am just getting into wicca and all it's practices and such and am not at a place in my life where I am safely and comfortably able to have a permanent alter for many reasons. But I still want to keep up with all my practices and continue to do my best despite my restrictions so I really appreciate that. Restrictions such as not having a safe place for a permanent alter, sharing a room/living space with others who don't respect this all, and just living in a household and family who don't know that I am wiccan because they would not be understanding or respectful of my person beliefs and practices in any way. Hopefully one day I'll be at a place in my life where I can fully be myself and have a permanent alter, I do relate to wicca more than any other belief system and have a deep personal connection and love for it all, but for now I'm trying to do my best. Thank you, I love this series and adore you in general. Much love xoxo
I hide the parts of mine then set it up after my parents are asleep. If u hav a drawr you can take it off of its little rack thing and hide small objects under it. A candle might not fit, depending on the size/shape, but I keep all of my books and altar supplies in there. If you don't have a drawr you can hide the parts scattared in your room (especially if its messy) or you cam hide it under your bed. There are others if you want to know, but this comment iss getting long.
Love your videos Harmony! Video suggestions i'd love to see from you in the future~goddess provisions unboxing, clothing hauls, and how you edit your Instagram pics🌿
Thank you so much for making this video! I'm not personally Wiccan though I do work in a religion with an altar and, despite seeing tips on how to do them, this video helped me get a sense of how to set one up much more than those ever did. Also your altar is very very lovely, thank you so much for sharing it to get a sense of what a permanent altar looks like.
I really liked this video I am very private and kinda have a alter in my bedroom on my dresser. People still decremation against religions. So said for 2023
I do not practice Wicca or am interested in practicing, but your video is incredible calming and I find your altar beautiful. I love how it is filled with light and nature and there is a serene beauty about that. I also think you seem to be a very friendly and relatable person! Thank you for sharing information and insight on your faith, although I do not practice it myself, I have a deep appreciation your faith and the focus on energies and nature.
It is interesting... I have practiced my own rituals and beliefs for years... I even have an alter though I never called it that. It wasn't until I started having these kinds of videos shared with me that I understood that it was an intuitional witchcraft. These videos you share really give me a better understanding of why things feel so normal and give me great starting points for research so I can better integrate some of the practices into self love coaching. Thank you for that.
Aurora Light and Love I have a question for you because I’m new to Wicca. I bought some candles that I didn’t immediately feel drawn to but now I feel super connected to them. So anyways the sign from where I bought them said ‘ritual candles’ can I still use them for honouring my deities?
@@patashnikelroy This really comes down to your own personal belief and abilitity to release subconscious programming. If you accept and believe that your intention for using that candle in your own method is proper then everything will be so. I buy ritual candles from many many sources there is sometimes no telling what someone put into the process sometimes (I make my own as well maybe I'll upload a video on this) my suggestion is to put a little sea salt with water and if you have any sage or rosemary together and let it sit for a day then use the mixture to wipe down the candles. Set the intention outloud that you are cleansing these candles and transmuting any residual energy that doesnt benefit you to your highest good. This is a common practice I use on my divination tools regularly. Your deities will be so proud to hear you calling to them and praying to them. Congrats on waking up to this very beautiful journey ahead of you!
I found a wooden box shaped like a book and the spine pulls out a drawer So I’m thinking of storing a mini alter kit in it and cloth so I can use it to travel because I really enjoy going outside Plus I can’t put up a perm alter right now :/
Jello..I actually like your video about your shrine about wiccan of holy spiritual power in through all natural elements around you..but I am not wiccan tho. I am Native American believing my Traditional belief and laughing Buddhist alter..but nice awsome alter tho..stay holy and let Diyin Diné (holy people) guide you on your way through life..😋🤘
I just watched your all about wicca video and I'm really fascinated. I grew up in an atheist family but have always felt very connected to the earth and nature and have always felt torn between my atheists views growing up and the spiritual things that I felt and believed in. I never had really heard or known of a belief that felt right with me until I saw your video, so thank you. I'm definitely going to be looking more into it!
I love your videos! found them a few days ago, I was a devout Christian, However I have had a major shift in my belief system. My parents are devout Christians and I still live with them because I have been having a very hard time with things. My altar is hidden, if they knew I had it, I'd be screwed. anyway your videos are amazing, super glad I found your channel!!!
A Wiccan altar is a special place that is there for one purpose.... for the cats to destroy....
Kire Moonchild yup 😂🙄
Kire Moonchild 😂😂😂
Or for toddler aged children 😭 at least my cat leaves it alone.
My dang cat likes to jump on my altar and eat rose petals in the morning and I wake up like 😐
Just for your enlightenment , she said altar (or the plural altars) 118 times.
I had some time to kill.
TruthB Told Take a shot every time she says altar lol
Sorry I died from alcohol poisoning 😂😝 jk
This is important news. Thankyou for your service
@Brilea Yarber the forbidden drinking game
killed killed killed..meanie..behave
I am new to the Wiccan religion and she makes me feel safe and secure
Hannah Armitage same
Sandy VanStedum what lol
Honestly she makes me feel like I can do wicca or witchcraft even in my most doubtful times.
Yup same
same
i remember when i was still in the broom closet. every night, at like 11 pm, when i knew my parents would leave me alone, i'd grab all of the stuff i had for my altar, mostly hidden on top of my closet, set it up, light my incenses and candles, pray and then take everything apart again, open the windows as far as possible so my mum wouldn't smell the incenses and smoke from the candles and hide all of my stuff again. stressful af.

I still live w my parents. It’s weird because my mom supports me and she’s the kindest mother ever , but my dad hates what I do so I hide it a lot and my mom helps me lol it’s like our little secret
Same...Like currently.
My mum isnt a wiccan, and doesnt do witchcraft but she likes how mine looks lmao so she doesnt question it.
That's why I hate religioud parents thinking that they can just do whatever they want because their child doesn't want to practice their religion
Sam Lockwood i hope it doesnt happen again my family is extremely religious in christianity an its hard to prove im not doing bad but good
I am so so so sorry to hear this. I hope this never happens to you again.
I know I shouldn't say this, but if my family do the same to me I will break every cross or religious thing they possess. It's a bad thing to think, but I can't help it.
E Momsen honestly I agree with you 110%.
I definitely recommend not rushing your altar! You will find things that call to you that you know should be on your altar. Don't feel like it has to be all done at once, sometimes that can make it less personal.
thanks for the advice !
4min 27sec in and I’m on my third martini.
Yeah I have been practicing for a year and my altar was very small at the beginning now I can stand in it and it has built in storage for all my supplies
@@Golf_hater this is promising i’m just starting all of this out
Thank you for that very formative information👍🏾
I myself am a Christian, but I'm fascinated by other religions and their respective lore, traditions, beliefs, I'm intrigued by it all. So thanks for a great video, and thanks for showing us something so personal and sacred to you :)
Also you're beautiful ;)
Kate Sweatman it's nice to see a Christian who's not super judgmental to other religions. Thanks for respecting others beliefs
I'm sorry that the Christians you know or have heard of have been so cruel, but believe me there are a lot of Christians like me out there who love and respect others' beliefs, without feeling compelled to impose our faith on them. I mean, if people ask me about my beliefs I certainly don't hide it, but I won't shove it down anyone's throat, and I know there are many others who are the same ^-^
Kate Sweatman I'm the same, I'm a Christian who also enjoys seeing other religions :)
Kate Sweatman buddhist and i think the same
In Wicca, The God and The Goddess are not seen as a higher power, but a guide. We do not depend on them.
I know altars are super personal, so thanks for sharing!

Poppy Adams well we saw what happened in Salem now everybody in Boston is mean because of witches and non stop witch trials
Joseph R hallelujah
Pink guy those women weren't actually witches...they were innocent women accused of some bogus so called 'evil' by paranoid, extreme, fanatics like yourself. That type of thinking is ridiculous.
I have been struggling with my beliefs for years and your videos have drawn me toward the Wiccan religion and I feel so connected to the things you talk about. Your energy and guidance make me feel extremely eager that I may have found where my beliefs lie! ❤
Morgan Stevens same here xx

Please don’t try to force beliefs on others. Just because you believe in something doesn’t mean everyone else does too.
Who else is not Wiccan but watches these videos? I'm a Buddhist, I have a whole different kind of altar.
Mariam Janahi I'm not a Buddhist or a Wiccan but I have an alter with a Buddha, red Indian feather, sage, crystals, orgonites 😜
I’m an atheist and I love her videos! Lol
I have crystals and stones, sage, white candle, mala beads, Buddha, journal, Chinese coins, red envelope, and most recent tarot cards!
I'm Buddhist as well but lately I feel like am being drawn to wicca. I'm beyond curious
yea im a masochist and this video is really interesting
I'm sorry, but I have a pet peeve:
pentacle = a pentagram inside a circle (penta cle, pentacle, like a combo of the words)
pentagram = the star that has magickal correspondences
^^ this
Me too tbh
Aurora,I agree with you.. a Pantagramis only teh star on its own.. I wear one from time to time
aurora still she says pentagram as well afterwards. I thinks she said both because you can use both.

will do then babe

When you cast a circle does it have to be all the way around your altar? Beginner here and I'm super confused 😢
i’m christian myself, but i’m really intrigued by the religion of wicca. i really like how nature is a huge part, and i might practice some parts of the wiccan faith to grow my relationship with nature :)
Midnight Cookie that’s crazy because that’s almost exactly what I’m doing!
you can be christian and practice witchcraft, wicca is a religion and witchcraft is not! :)
SAME! I’m a Confirmed Catholic but I am SO drawn to nature and the craft and maybe wicca as well (its all new to me, I have some figuring out to do). Anyways I’m planning of celebrating Litha with my friends 😁💗💗

Ceola Farina yeah you too
You are just as beautiful, Ceola
Video idea, you could explain some of all the symboles in wicca
symbols* and it depends if she believes in nordic, santarean, celtic, voodoo, hindu, or buddhist deities. The pentagram is a symbol of earth
it can be but mostly it represents earth
Ekilore it's the fourth elements and the five is human soul and the ring around it is infinity
There are a lot of different symbols, and explaining some of them would take at least an hour.
So many different beliefs and their symbols!!!

I'm relatively new to this and it's so intimidating seeing all of the different equipment 😥
Lilly-B start slow! I only used candles, crystals, and sage at my altar at first cause that’s all I had...slowly gaining more tools as I go!
i’m 2 years late but i use only candles, incense and a handmade pentagram in the beginning because i can’t afford crystals. i also draw a few sigils around it.
All you need to start is intent. Let it come naturally to you.
I’ve been on and off into Wicca for years and only now I have an altar, don’t rush it. As soon as you feel ready you can get stuff. But the reality is that the altar is a tool, so it’s not needful to have. Take your time darling ❤️
hey^^ Can you also do an episode on: "how to write a spell ?"
all spells are personal to the witch, there is no 1 true way to write a spell
TheNinjagoPoptart
You just write it
TheNinjagoPoptart ya same XD
I can help. You make up the purpose of the spell (make sure it's within reason), then you select your ingredients according to what you want to do.
For example here is one of my spells.
White Candle Healing Spell:
3 White candles
a glass of water
a sprig of lavender
Arrange the candles in a triangle around the glass of water
Place the lavender in the water
light the candles
chant this twice:
"Blessed divines,
Gods and Goddesses
Hear my plea,
send one of your own out to me.
Heal (Whoever you want to heal),
make them realise what you have done."
Add "Mote it be after you chant those words twice, blow out the candles and give the lavender to whoever you want to heal.
Done!
denny r OH, I don't think we need to put that on youtube, but thank you for asking, though.
Can you also do an episode about rituals, please?
"have as many candles as you would please at your altar" [pauses the video] [turns to look at my altar and the 9 candles on it] [looks at the other 10 candles on the shelf near my altar]

I’ve started to set up my alter on my windowsill right next to my bed for multiple reasons
1) It’s right next to me bed and even since I have started setting it up it’s made me sleep better (I have my crystals next to my head) and I feel more safe in my bedroom.
2) In the afternoon the sun shines directly into my window/onto my windowsill
3) During the night, full moons ALWAYS is visible from my window
4) It has a wonderful view of my small garden and it just makes me happy

0. But she said altar. Sorry to be that guy.
You are lovely,Harmony! Would you consider making an absolute beginner Wiccan video? What is needed to start, which books can be accurate and serious to begin with, how to practice? Thank you 🌹
Best book to start with is Scott Cunningham wicca: a guide to solitary practitioner
Frank289100 Thanks for thé sermon. It’s not needed here, this is the internet, no one really cares about opinions.
4. In the video Harmony literally says "We don't sacrifice animals"
5. Wiccans cannot even summon demons in the first place.
Frank289100 leave

Get over yourself, nitpicker
Not really. Temporary is short term and very likely to come down soon. Semi-permanent means it will last a while but not permanently.

I'll admit I'm not Wiccan but the whole idea fascinates me, this is just cool
My Wiccan Altar but every time she says "semi permanent altar" it speeds up
I'm not Wiccan (eclectic witch) but I really love your videos! Plus, you're gorgeous❤ I'm glad I found your channel, its very helpful. Love and light!
I'm a Muslim but I enjoy watching / learning about other religions and believes. Honestly I'm fascinated by this video plus you're so beautiful ♡
I’m pagan (Greek gods) and is be happy to explain a few things for you!
My mental health began to seriously decline, and I found comfort in the meditation and spirituality involved. It just fit with who I was.
Aurora Dreamer this is actually a great idea! Fenrir (Loki’s son) is also quite picky as well! Lol. Blessed be.❤️
I just want to say thank you, thank you for all of your videos and everything you are about.

Your makeup reminds me of a small fawn. I love it
Could you plz do a video on wands?
Wicca seems like a craft oriented path. I mean "craft" literally. You guys like to make all sorts of neat stuff.

Me too! I’ll probably ask my mom if we can braid stuff and light a couple candles.
Some wiccans and witches believe that candles are more symbolic and don't need to be burned.
Random question, do you (or wiccans in general) read tea leaves? I've always wondered how that worked!

I keep various bottles on the Goddess side as a place holder for them basically, they're also feminine (bottles, cups, they're feminine)
I have a statue for Cernunnos and Hecate on my altar beside my deity candles.
I SHALL CURSE YOU!
To be yourself ❤️ uwu

Harmony Nice thx ! love ya
Could you explain the meaning of your skull and the symbols on it?
The symbol on its forehead is the sigil of Mercury.
It is the sign of the god/horned one
a v e r i e go on Amazon and type in witchcraft you can buy it from there for like twenty four pounds! Tadahhh!
If you were wondering what that symbol ♾ is from your altar that is known as a flower of life
An infinity symbol? Or her backdrop?
I can't have a Wiccan altar where I'm living
The people that I'm living with are Evangelicals
I'll have to wait until I own my home
I hide the parts of mine then set it up after my parents are asleep. If u hav a drawr you can take it off of its little rack thing and hide small objects under it. A candle might not fit, depending on the size/shape, but I keep all of my books and altar supplies in there. If you don't have a drawr you can hide the parts scattared in your room (especially if its messy) or you cam hide it under your bed. There are others if you want to know, but this comment iss getting long.
Love your videos Harmony! Video suggestions i'd love to see from you in the future~goddess provisions unboxing, clothing hauls, and how you edit your Instagram pics🌿

lots of them coming! thank you hun xoxo
I miss your videos and your energy and the way you inspire
❤ finally!
Your altar is so beautiful!
thanks very much love
I LOVE your hair omg
I really liked this video I am very
private and kinda have a alter in my bedroom on my dresser.
You're so so beautiful love your unique style ❤ love and light to all
thanks so much sweetie, lots of love and light back
You should do a room tour tbh
yaas. I've asked for this video so many times 😂

This really comes down to your own personal belief and abilitity to release subconscious programming.
I found a wooden box shaped like a book and the spine pulls out a drawer
So I’m thinking of storing a mini alter kit in it and cloth so I can use it to travel because I really enjoy going outside
Plus I can’t put up a perm alter right now :/
❤
fox_in _xxs_clothes 👋
that hufflepuff chick Gryffindor, sorry :/
Grace Gastaldi it's ok😂
Hufflepuff hell yeah
Harmony Nice 👌💛💛
Jello..I actually like your video about your shrine about wiccan of holy spiritual power in through all natural elements around you..but I am not wiccan tho. I am Native American believing my Traditional belief and laughing Buddhist alter..but nice awsome alter tho..stay holy and let Diyin Diné (holy people) guide you on your way through life..😋🤘
Can you do a Book Of Shadows tour?
카메론베라 Those are mostly personal, and most don't want to share them ^-^
What is the book of shadows?
카메론베라 my book of shadows isn’t personal but most people have a lot of personal things that they wouldn’t be comfortable sharing
She actually made a video about them
Otaku Land
The Book of Shadows is a book containing religious texts and instructions for magical rituals
