You are magnetising Mariam and I Love your honesty and how you dissect each product that gives me inspiration on what makeup is and isnt, love your face so much and skin!!!Thank you for always sharing your expertise!!! You are awesome!!!🤗❤🥰😍 Have a Beautiful Weekend!!!
Certain brands make my eyes itch like crazy too! I really wish they could find ways to make them eye safe -- I'll pay a little more so that I can actually wear them. I also gave up on Lancome foundations, love the formula but could never find the right undertone either. I found it in Estee Lauder double wear which I think is a better formula for my skin type. Anyway, love these videos and your honesty!
Another AMAZING Favorite X Fails Maryam!! As you know from all my comments in previous videos I really appreciate how detailed you are in explaining why certain products are a favorite but also why certain products are a fail! When you first started using the Jones Rhodes face pencil and you loved it I immediately ordered 2 different shades and I have to say it’s a really amazing product!!! It’s exactly how you describe it. I ordered the clear lipgloss and 2 shimmer shades and so far I’m loving everything I’ve purchased from Jones Rhodes!! After watching your review on the new Lancôme foundation I ordered what I thought would work and it is not how they describe the shade online at ALL! I like the foundation but I sent back the foundation because it was completely the wrong shade for me. I’m a medium skin tone with a true neutral undertone and the shade I received was very warm and off. I think I’m going to go into Ulta or Sephora and get a few samples. I did get 3 samples of the new repackaged Beauty Blender foundation and the Summer Fridays skin tint and I’m in love with both. I really want to get the got2be brow gel but it’s been unavailable on Amazon forever. I’m so happy the Colourpop blush is a Favorite!!! I’m going to pick that cool toned blush up hopefully it’s still available!!! Maryam, I’ve never seen any comment about people questioning if you use self tanner or not but how annoying!! I also have a skin condition and I get really tan in the summer but I do use self tanner on parts of my arms and legs. Like my mom always taught us “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all” You are absolutely GORGEOUS and such a BEAUTIFUL person inside and out ☺️❤️
I bought the Danessa Myricks balm powder on your recommendation and I’ve been LOVING IT. 😍 I use it as a primer and it makes my foundation look good all day long.
So personally, I don’t have sensitive eyes so ig it doesn’t really affect me but I believe after the book of social media all the influencers were clamouring for more pigment and hence the “not for eye” eyeshadows But I do agree that I’d prefer if all were safe for eye cuz no one really wants to put stuff that’s not safe for the eye near a delicate area the eye
Alexa is indeed sometimes dumb, mine always forgets setups and forgets spotify playlists. I didn't like the Huda liner as I only used it once on eyeshadow and then it got covered in pigment and stopped working. I tried cleaning it but it just dried up. I find that I can only use the liquid dip type eyeliner, every felt tip I have ever used doesn't go over eyeshadow, or it goes over once and then doesn't work again
Hey I was thinking it was gonna be the bounce skin tint.....it's amazing....its main thing why I love it is because it has such a perfecting/blurring aspect to it that works great for my skin and also because I have dryer skin......have u tried it and do u love it?? It has five stars on the website......(either Sephora or Ulta) but yeah its very smoothing and perfecting
Hi, I love that Lancôme foundation and had no trouble finding a shade, they had plenty. Are you not able to get to Sephora to find your correct shade match? 🤔
I think the "eyeshadows" that are not meant for use around the eyes have to be labelled that way, or labelled as pressed pigments because they contain red pigments that can stain. So normally carmine is used as the red pigments in cosmetics, but it is not vegan or cruelty free - it's made of crushed up insects. So if a brand or company or collaborative influence is vegan or cruelty free, they tend to want to forego Carmine, and instead use other pigments that can cause staining, hence they aren't approved for use around the eye. Carmine also causes irritation and stinging in a lot of people, and is not an uncommon allergen. So it's not necessarily a case of inclusivity in terms of people feeling irritation or discomfort, it's more about whether or not a brand prefers to avoid carmine. Just wanted to put that out there so you don't think these cosmetics companies are shading us sensitive eyed peeps!
What about powder ??? You say that you have an oily skin but I use exactly the same makeup as you : yummy Danessa , beauty blender foundation , shape tape , but if I don’t powder all my face with a real velvet powder puff and loose powder all over face and eyes 👀 : I get totally oily in the 40mn after I apply my makeup ! So what about the powder ? The most IMPORTANT PRODUCT in my makeup routine . And by the way I’ m 56 years old . Love your videos by the way ☺️👍🏻👍🏻
@@MaryamMaquillage Yes sorry , I just checked , thank you 👍🏻 By the way you powder with a brush which doesn’ help at all for an oily skin cause the brush will depose superficially the powder on top of the skin and and the oil will shine over very quickly ( when I do it with a brush like yours I shine immediately 5 mn after . But pressing the powder on the skin with a powder puff with a loose powder it blurs completely the skin and pores and fixe the make up 10 times more , so the skin is shine free much longer as well as the longevity of the makeup and then I dust the excess with the same brush as you . Just to let you know’ I’m a make up artist in Paris ( France ) for magazine , beauty and fashion since 31 years . And that’s the only way a real oily skin stay fresh and give the longevity of the make up much more succès 😉👍🏻 ( sorry for m’a y english ) . I like to see how different people are applying their make up it.s very interesting for me ☺️ Congrats for your videos 👍🏻👍🏻
I tried the DM balm powder because of your stellar reviews because I'm so oily. I had hopes I could use it as a quick foundation. I had a bad allergic reaction to it. So disappointed!
Girl u do NOT have to explain yourself about how tan u are and your hands and everything else ....im one of the ones that asked about your hands being self tanner but tbh who cares..... literally everybody self tans at some time of the year. ..u are absolutely beautiful and don't have to explain anything and also there's no need to be ashamed or embarrassed about skin condition.....it's actually pretty normal babe!!!! 😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
You said, "Danessa" several times before Alexa woke up in your video. Maybe she misheard you when you were talking and thought you said, " Alexa" verse "Danessa. Just a thought.
They sent me the wrong shade and that turned me off…. U were turned off they sent you free shit and got your shade wrong ….? Why don’t u just buy it instead of complaining.
if you take away the pigments that are sensitive to certain people is less inclusive.... having the label is inclusive for everyone considering everywhere else they are eye safe
I looooove this series!!!!!!!!! Faves × fails are just the best !!!

With you girl tired of the no use eye shadows. Such a waste but hey maybe you can use it as a blush as if it will stay a way from the eye area
