This video straight up made me cry. Ever since I was about 11 years old I have wanted to be a missionary but lately I am not so sure. I am a clumsy, obese, moody, socially akward 17 year old girl with chronic pain and seizures. I want to help people and serve my God. Now I know I can.

This message touches me. We got the call to go to Brasil and it is so new and crazy but I want to obey and follow my Jesus. We got 3 small kids so it is even more to "worry" but I want to trust and let go of my fears.
I'm back here to testify that I'm now a missionary. Mission is about going.

What Does It Take To Be a Missionary? I'm guessing it's being ignorant of other religions, thinking that yours is the only correct one, and then trying to convince other people that yours is the only correct one.

After i decided that i would not have children and that made me lost meaning in get married so i decided to be a missionary sincd with no children i can risk my life without worry if i was still catholic i would be a priest but i am not catholic anymore since i can t agree with their dogmas but i will be celibate and make missions
There is a MISSION FIELD in your city, in your state in another state, in a close by country, overseas or on the other side of the world. You do not have to another country to see a MISSION FIELD. The LOCAL PRISON is a MISSION FIELD. The HOSPITAL is a MISSION FIELD. The LOCAL RESCUE MISSION is a MISSION FIELD. Where the HOMELESS PEOPLE are, is a MISSION FIELD.

So glad I'm not qualified as the missions is scary and dangerous place for an average person. Please, God, send someone else more qualified , smarter, faithful, and financially secured. Maybe someone with more free time on his hands and even can handle difficult people.
Your family sharing their lives as missionaries for all to see has been such a blessing to me and my family. We surrendered our lives to the Lord’s call for missions on May 13, 2020, after a 4 1/2 week revival in our church. God saved me, a 40 year old Baptist lost church member, that had trusted for 35 years in a profession made as a boy that was not real. God opened my eyes to the truth, I was lost. I had been raised my entire life in church, never been out of church thank the Lord, and had taught Sunday school for years and even had a nursing home ministry that I was preaching in for 3 years, and a year so far of Bible college. God showed me what I had was a dead knowledge full of religion but no heart knowledge of Jesus Christ. Pride had taken my heart into hardness because of denial of conviction that I thought for years was just the devil trying to make me doubt my profession of salvation. God’s grace and mercy brought me to the end of myself on April 30, 2020, and He saved my soul on week 2 of the revival. I had joy that I never had for the first time in life and now understand what true love for others is all about. I was left however with a burden and broken heart from stepping down from teaching and preaching though, I didn’t want to be a stumbling block to others. I began to pour out my heart to God in the next 2 1/2 weeks of revival to let me do something for Him, and the last night of revival, God called me and my family to the mission field and we surrendered all we have to Him. So many questions about missions and God led me to find Bro. John O’Malley’s page and I saw your video. I subscribed to your channel and God has used your family’s videos to help us so much. God gave me Romans 15:20-21 for our calling and I’m looking and praying for a place where the gospel has not been preached. Very interested in the Solomon Islands and in the Peeler family location of Nukuoro. Praying for you and your family and the work going on in the Solomon Islands.

The Lord does not force us to have a personal relationship with Him, neither does He force His purpose for our lives on us. However, you will only find your sense of purpose, fulfillment and joy in life, when you do what He is calling you to do.

Wow, thank you so much for this! I am praying right now that God will lead exactly where he wants me , whether it's missions or some type of other ministry.. I want to give my life to Him as a living sacrifice (Rom. 12:1-2). It really hit me as you said, missions/ministry is not about me, but all about God! If God opens the door for it, I'd love to go on mission trip(s), so you never know if I'll come to the Solomon Islands!!
God will show you! Being in His hands is the very best place you can be.

Is a missionary biblical?? NO not at all
In the bible, Jesus Himself told us to go out into the world to share the gospel. It's the most honorable job you can do for the Lord. How are you serving the Lord Jesus?

This video made me cry out . Since from my childhood I wanted to be a missionary n now im Pursuing Theology but still then my physical weakness I often failed to participate in everything. Over load of sickness but I hope n believe that In Christ everything is possible ❤

I needed this because I’ve been asked to take lead in missionary work I’m coming up with all kinds of things to be saying “ I really don’t want this project!” Yet down on the inside I’m yearning to see what Gods plan for me
I was talking to my mum earlier today about doing this and I’m not too sure. I’m worried that while on a mission I get caught but on the other hand I want to preach the name of Jesus.

What the heck does a missionary do besides put themselves in difficult situations our government can’t always get them out of in certain countries? You people need jobs
Being a missionary is the most honorable job there is. Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost, so that they may receive eternal life in heaven. Giving up your luxuries to travel the world and save lost souls for Christ. No blue collar or corporate job can compare to serving the Lord.
Before you try to convert people can I assume you tell them about the snake that talked, living past 900 year old and parting an entire sea?

I can remember once upon a time wanting to be a missionary. I would recommend really exploring whether Christianity is true prior to doing so. I’ve since deconverted and can’t imagine how awful I would feel now convincing people it’s true
The bible says that in the last days, many would fall away from the faith. I pray that you will find your way to Jesus. Once you receive Him in your heart as your Lord and Savior, your life will be changed. He is our only hope for eternal in heaven.
