They may not use the split back formation, but I like the idea of a linebacker covering AK (especially) or Taysom, motioning into the slot A pass catching TE would really help those types of plays out.
how can you watch olave last year and say we need another reciever??? if this team has issues with olave, sheed, AT Perry, kamara and taysom….. THEN THERES A PROBLEM WITH THE COACHES. WE HAVE SO MUCH TALENT. We dont need receivers we need to get our shit together
In my opinion Dennis Allen is neglecting the skill position in particular Wide Receivers the same way Sean Payton did in Brees last couple of years, we have 1 great player in Olave the same way Michael Thomas was our only good receiver for the last years of Brees career
@@Corey41929 He's not a WR that teams plan for. He's smaller in size, he makes great catches, sometimes the ball can get lodge from him when he get hit, I just think he is good, but i dont think he's great or a number 1 WR. MT is a number 1 WR, Colston was under rated, but he also was a number 1 receiver. I would keep Olave in the slot and 2nd WR.
Heiner may be dealing w/ the fact that he recently found out he has a rare form of skin cancer. Maybe you could put things in context and report all the facts. We get it you don’t like the o-line but get real you can’t get anything from o-line play in shorts and helmets. I know you expect second year players to play like 5 year vets but again that’s not reality. It’s amazing how the two o-lineman you mentioned are 4-5 year vets. The fact you are questioning Olive and Shaheed is ridiculous. Plus, this is day two of training camp. Which is when you are working on new techniques , timing and how open a receiver actually needs to be for you to feel comfortable throwing him the ball. It’s called training camp for a reason. We are a month away from the real deal so let’s give it a couple weeks in pads and see what it looks like.
Feels like a lot of overacting day 2 of camp defense always ahead of offense in the league. cmon man, If offense looks like day 2 in two weeks, then I can see concern
@@rickyb6066bro you really don’t know ball go like a team like the giants or something because you obviously have never once had an ounce of knowledge about ball 😂 bro said Chris Olave wasn’t a wr1 but in the last decade he is the 8th best in first two seasons so currently you do the math 😂 dumb fr
Watch james skrmetta video on olave, hes had less drops than alot of the top WR. You dont know what uour talking about. Hes also had by PFF’s metrics the 8th best 2 year start to a career over the past decade
I rewatched the 2009 season. The vibe and energy on those teams are totally different than 2024 saints. We’re a 5 win team max. And no wins vs opponents that want to win. You can’t run a team based on logic. It’s run by leaders of men. You can’t teach leadership. Darren Sharper loved playing for Greg Williams. They were one game into the season and it felt like a playoff game. Too many smiles and ppl standing around in our camp.
The Saints have won 6 games or more in the last 39 seasons with the exception of 3 different seasons in which they only won 3 games in each of those dud years: '96--when Mora quit mid-season, '99--Ditka's lame duck season and last ever coaching, & '05--the lost Hurricane Katrina season. Even Ditka surpassed 5 wins twice! So, for me as a lifelong Saints fan since '91, yeah they'll have to be not only a badly coached team, but lack talent for me to even remotely say they'll win less than 7 games!
@@titanbrotha2962 they are learning a new system and play tough teams early, that’s going to be rough. I think we have talent and we’re a very good coached team. But a talented very good coached team isn’t great in the standings. We’re lacking the obsessive natured coaches. Coaches that can’t sleep because their mind doesn’t stop. In life there are some guys that people want to follow over other ones. As the saying goes, the team takes on the coaches personality. Dan Campbell for example, look how those guys want to play for him. I’ll say this in favor of DA. Da has been with our team forever, so the newness and excitement of playing for him may appear less to the casual observer. But it may still be there, the desire to be lead by him. Becaue if you ask the players, themselves, they are genuinely DA fans. Anyway, I’m seeing a mid team with early struggles and a late push, Just go watch two back to back games in 2009 that we won where Drew Bree’s threw 0 TDs. Yes 0 combined, and we still won. Measure the intensity you can cut it with a knife. Week 3 and 4. DA was an assistant so he knows what it looks like. Week one of 09, DB threw for 6 TDs, that’s the kind of fast start we haven’t seen in a long time.

I like Chris Olave, but he is not a number 1 receiver. We are going to be missing that this season. Watch what I tell ya

Hodges will be a DC soon and we are 1 Chris Olave injury from having the 2021 receiving core 😕. Olave is not a 1 we need a true #1 receiver

Olive is a number 2 he dropped two many passes we need a number 1 wr we got a bunch of three's and four's on this team
