Vancouver spider sculpture to come down

The City of Vancouver is planning to take down a piece of guerilla art that popped up under a bridge at Victoria Drive and East Broadway earlier this month. Angela Bower speaks to Vancouverites who love the giant spider - and some who hate it.

Instead of taking down the spider, the City should clean up the enormous amount of garbage they have allowed to accumulate along the train tracks.

I say replace it with a full size giant animatronics robot spider which overlooks skeletons hanging from very sticky webs.

@@anagonyaowusu3119 The LGBTQ community receives special treatment. I'm 100% against this. Every citizen deserves EQUAL treatment by society.
They claim to be seeking INCLUSIVITY, but THEY EXCLUSIVELY receive a parade in their honour. Where is the parade for Irish people who suffered slavery? Where is the parade for our homeless? Homeless Canadians are the most marginalized by society, not LGBTQ.
