13:30 I am not sure if this is what you meant, but the mud flap installation instructions are on the Tesla web site on the same page where you order the mud flaps. Unless you are drilling new holes, the instructions should be the same for other brand of mud flaps.
I've got used to press right signal on roundabouts, took a while, but now I just intuitively know where the buttons are when I turn the wheel. But yeah, not the best :D
If you were going to install the lazer elite 18 on the highland, would you mount it the same place as you did with the previous car ? I’m not a fan of numberplate mounts. I like the fact the other one was kinda hidden a little bit.
Tons of regular small cars in Norway have started to use LED bars on the roof now 😀 it's actually easier to mount it there, no mods to the plastic is needed, and way easier to remove it for the summer, since you only really need it in the winter.
I see on Instagram and tik tok these solar charger things could these put a small charge in the car and do would they work for emergency or are they all just gimmicks
Tesla cheap out on so many things nowdays. I really hope other EV manufacturers will catch up on efficency and software. Maybe then Tesla will lister to their customers.
Cool. Suggestions for testing: Tesla increased charging speed for TMS 75D, 90D and 100D. Perhaps a 1000km test of used Tesla with a 100kwh battery from before the 250 kw charging became normal could have it's place. It might show how awsome the old TMS still is or at least if they are still an ok buy as a used electric car.
They increased the speed and then they decreased it again. But I agree, 5-7 year old 100 km challenge with a 75d or 100d would be very interesting, those cars are bargains right now and way better cars than every other new shitbox BEV on the market. Including Model Y.
@@patrickmcgrail4613sorry for the late reply. On a perfect day it stays at 120-140kw up to ~60%, and I've seen it as high as 80kw over 80%. On a 1500km trip I commonly do I charge for roughly 1.5hours total over 3 charging stops. It doesn't charge faster on v3/v4 than v2 as the V2 is rated for 150kw which is more than the car, but it sure is nice to not share power with a second charger and get limited to 75kw. Either way this car is still much, much faster than my previous 85D. That alone is worth losing free supercharging for.
Yeah can’t wait he gets the 2024.2 Update and test the matrix lights first from Tesla! But i hope older matrix models with heatpump get also the update!
bjorn are you upto doing a long trip with a NIO and no charging, just battery swapping(at least 2 swaps) . That would be a great video showing how battery swapping could be part of the solution for cold weather . Swap , get a toatsy warm battery thats charged to 90% (I believe thats what you get with aswapped battery) compared to hour charging to 90% . also pick busy time to reflect the reality of backup up chargers
I mounted the Nuuk E-line on my Bmw i4 M50 and today also on a Seat Leon FR! ua-cam.com/video/K7eSj-tH2ec/v-deo.html Works as if it was OEM also with Matrix Laser lights and highbeam assist is intact on both cars
I am installing this "kit" now. No ALC instructions are included and there are plenty of connectors and cables that needs to be connected perhaps even soldered. Why was this important step *skipped* in the video? Spending 10 minutes talking about how the beam is narrow and sharp aluminium edges etc instead of actually showing How To Install... It is NOT so easy to install this setup as the video gives impression of. Now i have to abort this reinstall all screws and frunk and find a shop that can do the installation properly. 👎
This is not a good place to pull power from on the these, less powerfull ledbars like this will work but more powerfull ledbars like 200w> might give you a hard time.
Can't wait to see how the new Matrix functionality works. Apparently it's rolling out to the highland in Europe.
Definitely need a headlights retest once the update has arrived. Curious to see the implementation in the Model 3.
Hopefully it works better than AP, auto wipers etc… 😂
Probably full of bugs, like most other “auto” functions of Model 3s.
I got it a couple days ago.. it’s awesome!
That back-wheel mudflap seems to generate a lot of drag, judging the ending scene

Is there anything to improve the inadequate reversing light?
An LED bar at the rear connected to the reversing lights, for example?
If you can program it like Kitt from Knightrider, then i'm sold 🤣

Is it possible to turn it upside down. So it would be further away from the ground, and not obstruct the cooling slots.
Yes, according to Strands you can mount it upside down.
Will these flaps cause an increase in drag, and therefore reduction in efficiency?
Yep, I got about 20 miles less on my 2020 Model 3 with flaps like those.
Superbra video-tack👍

Yes
I heard that Tesla sent an over the air update to improve the high beam issue you were having during your Night driving.
The lights on the roof? Guess it would be super if you go Rally driving with them. 😀

You need to try a utv (Canam or Polaris)
would be nice if the shop has english webpage as i dont speak norwegian.
You have to use Google translate in Chrome for now. But they're working on English pages.
Newer Teslas low voltage lithium battery is 16 volts.
Adaptive headlight update just rolling out in Europe
Sure, it's great, but it won't make the high beam light output higher.
Tesla cheap out on so many things nowdays. I really hope other EV manufacturers will catch up on efficency and software. Maybe then Tesla will lister to their customers.
Very interesting. Is this light compatible with the rest in the EU? (for example germany/netherlands?)
Of course NOT.
At 16:56 it has Europe approval ECE R149 and reference number is 40.
Great video many thanks. Bjorn do you have a special Norvegian trick to stop the snow sticking on the front bumper?
Spray it with something like Pam cooking spray.
Thanks!
Can you test the matrix function that comes with 2024.2 update?
Cool.

I'd let him take my '17 p100d with 210k km for that if he wants. Would be interesting to see.
@@lbtobl83 oh, didnt know they decreased it again. What speed do the 100d peak at now?
What is the charging speed now on v3/v4 Suc? @@Frygisk

I thought you already tested the new adaptive headlights software update, that would have been some next level speed...😉
Hej Bjorn update is coming for Highland , matrix lights and also will improve high beem...

Can this unit be used on an early Model S Bjorn ?
That should work. You can ask Bilkomponenter.
I had a 2021 TM3 before and now I have an TM3 Highland. The lights are clearly better on Highland.
Imagine a car needing a light bar because the headlights are so bad. just like American trucks...

I have a 2022 MYP MIB so the frunk is a little different, 12V battery placement etc.
