Wonderful! My kids were in Chess club in primary school and went to a regional chess tournament. It was a great part of their childhood and they have used those skills and continued the game tradition in our family. I was never a fan of any board games, though I reluctantly learned to play them to be part of family life, but I'll play them any day with my adult children.
Oh my gosh a crossover of two of my favorite things! Also I imagine Bernie must find the short attention spans of many in our political system so frustrating. We need politicians, journalists, and voters to all be able to engage with complex problems and solutions. Chess is not only fun in its own right, but it can teach strategy, patience, and focus.
We rediscovered chess during covid lockdown. What a fantastic game. Every game is different and challenging. If you haven't played since you were a kid, get a chess set and get started.

Why don't the majority of senators EVER speak about the war? He is the senior senator of VERMONT, NOT the president of the United States. He does MORE than any of the senators. Get YOUR state senator to speak on the crisis, EVERY DAY, if you are even an American.
