I know why its so sad. Because when you think about it, Toroko had NOTHING to do with the whole problem. She was just a poor little girl who was at the wrong place and time. Sure her brother was a warrior, but the doctor killed him and moved on. Toroko had to die just because Balrog and Misery made a mistake.
"Mistake", both of them could've betrayed The Doctor at any point in the game. They killed Toroko and King from their lack of regards towards the Mimigas.

If you beat the Blood Stained Sanctuary level and Ballos in less than 5 minutes... but more than 4... Music easter eggs in title screen... Curly and "Running Hell": 6:00 - 5:00 Toroko and "Toroko's theme": 5:00 - 4:00 King and "White": 4:00 - 3:00 Sue and "Safety": 3:00 - 0:00
Xartes the only way to get this theme in any version of the game is to beat the hell level in less than 5 mins, if you get below 4 you get king and the "white wall" theme, beat it below 3 and you get sue and arthur's house theme and if you beat it under 6, you get curly and the hell level soundtrack. I feel like this themes could have been used during the talks with toroko, or an alternate mimiga village soundtrack(same as king when you talked to him(ESPECIALLY WHEN HE DIES!))
