- Our Mulch business, GreenGo Recycling, made some new friends from Virginia today. We show the colored mulch setup for our MC 266 Rotochopper shredder from start to finish. Unfortunately our Rotochopper B66 grinder loses a tooth in the grinding chamber and shuts down mulch production for a little bit. Thanks for watching & I sure appreciate your support here on my UA-cam channel!! We're hosting the Rotochopper field day here at our site next month, for more information see below...
Don't miss any of the action! Be sure to subscribe to the Mr. DiGG channel here: / @therealmrdigg

Hello Ryan this is David.
Thank you for taking the time to explain and go over the operation of the MC266 to me and Simon. It was very informative and we learned a lot of useful information.
I want to give you and your crew a big thank you. I witnessed first hand that Ryan (aka Mr. Digg) Brandon, and Aaron are the same guys whether the camera is on or off. Y’all are good hearted people that want to help the smaller companies like mine by showing them things that y’all have learned. Thank you again and I hope that our paths cross again sometime in the future.
It was our pleasure! Sure was nice meeting y’all and you’re welcome back any time!! 🍻
Brandon is the man for the chopper😊😊
👍👍
Another great one having having a good bunch of men working for you makes all the difference in the world
sure does!
Ryan, i don't know about you but I find looking at the shredder at work so satisfying, viewing from County Sligo Ireland 🇺🇦🤠🚲📷✍
Thanks SLIGO!
Watching from Co Tyrone Ireland
@@gamerforever6185 I appreciate it!
Always something! Hope the new owners of the 266 get as much use out of it as you did.
thanks for watching!
That has to be the best smelling part of your business.
Smells like Christmas
Good morning Mr. DiGG!
Good morning!
You knew that tooth was loose in your previous video, also you should check out the VMAC G30 Compressor for the yard or service truck it’s absolutely awesome, God bless.
I said same thing but it was a different tooth
I guess they didn't tighten 🤷 up that tooth from the other day... the one that you pointed out... I guess you should have told Brandon, cause that's a job.. thanks for your videos!! I enjoy all your crew and all the equipment!! 😊🇺🇲👍
first thing I thought too, but they tightened that one. Guess another got loose
Thank you for sharing this! Very interesting. 😊
My pleasure!
Hi mr digg good luck with the sale ,got the salesman’s hat on .Got the top operators for the demo. 👍Cheers
Thanks 👍
Another great video,,,,! Keepem coming 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks! Will do!
Hello from the UK Mr Digg
Hello there!
It make me chuckle when just yesterday we were discussing how the weather was real nice for picnicing at 60 degrees in Las Vegas. We routinly hit the mid 100's and "Scorchers are 110+" A scorcher will leave you soaking to cool off once you get inside from a 25yard parking lot walk.
its still hot!
Much love and respect guys thanks for sharing
Much appreciated
I like how that MC opens on both sides of the chamber. Wish the FP did too! Would be nice on the hot days having to work in there.
It’s nice!
Great work going on ya'll😂🇮🇪
Thanks!!!
Thanks for sharing . Have a great day
You too!
Great video Ryan. Got a great team there.
Thanks buddy!
I have to say it.
Lets go Brandon!!
Let’s go Brandon!!!
great video Ryan 👍👍👍👍👍thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, I appreciate it
Yep ya sure have some really dedicated workers working there bro. Safe travels. Ken.
thanks Ken!
I imagine that little blue tree air freshener does a lot of good at the land fill
lol
You all should look into the colobiotics Sahara mulch mixer. They are electric. I ran them for years. Very efficient easy to use.
I’ve heard of them
These machines obviously take no prisoners, amazing. Where does all that material come from, has the decision been made to remove all the trees before the wild fires take them or something. The Roto B66 when munching those logs sounds just like the Jake Brakes on Tim Gentry's truck' Rooster' great video, 👍👍
mostly come from land clearing for development
I really like your choice in music. You and the staff have a great rapport.
Thank you very much!
@@TheRealMrDiGG No thanks necessary. Just real folk talkin' truth to other real folk. The way you grab tools and hand them to co-workers. Or help them put the tools away is just like me and my (adult) son working on his stang. Just good ole people doin' their thing being good people. Love to see it, man. Say hey to the crew for me and lookout for those damn wasps.
Brandon is the man for the chopper😊😊is Brandon arrons brother
Yes they are brothers
Good team you have there this is Sunday here in Scotland good job Ryan
Friday never changes same here
Never
One thing I’ll add about whether to go with a tracked grinder, or wheeled. Don’t forget you have to move the grinder at least once a day to clean out the built up mulch underneath it. So it’s almost impossible to set the grinder up in one spot and leave it.
excellent point
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers
Thanks for watching bud
Enjoy the mulching operation.
thanks!
Good job guys
Thanks Johnny
Great operation you have now green waste and logs for mulching fantastic machinery then sell in here in the UK they all so bag the mulch and delivery through out the country
Thanks 👍
Nice one 👍
Thanks !!
You should sell those. Fancy green go t shirts great video!
Working on it
Now we know where the bodies are.😮 Don't owe Mr. Diggs any money.
Hahahaa
Howdy Mr DiGG
Tug!!!
one of the best channels ive stumbled across! 👍
Wow, thanks!
Brandon and Aaron does good work around there, where would that business be without them
they are great dudes
Ryan if you had a few more Brandon’s & Aaron’s you could do anything. Really all your guys appear to be good hands. Hey I forgot to ask, how much did that Kobelco hat end up costing you….quarter of a mill…..
we got some great guys! hat was very close to that yes...
Guys will get shit done, Brandon fixed that tooth holder like a beast, 💪 hell yeah, thanks for sharing bud, that was good 👍🤙✊🇺🇲
👍👍🍻
A lever chain hoist would make it so much easier to change out the screens.
good idea
I've been with the same employer for so long that if they sold the business, they would have to sell me with it lol
lol
I think Mr Digg is selling some stuff to make room for new stuff after the Rotochopper event
We all know you're gonna be going shopping Mr Digg 😅
hehehe
Great video Ryan. What’s going on with the shredder did you get it fixed
Update video coming soon
Out with the old in with the New watch out Mr Williams Ryan has his sights set on at least 2 machines coming in October one being a bagger and other i will let you be guess of it he done let the cat out of the bag few times 😂 great vibes as usual Ryan
you might be right bro!
Is that slide, 10:45, for the chain block something you guys came up with or does that come standard on the machine, great idea either way.
standard
Hi. Thank you for your content on your channel l find this interesting. Just think why you do not link machines together, like the new shredder and the high speed one withe the trammel strainer. Just thinking that you will not ending up handling the produce two or three times. There may be a reason for that but I haven’t heard it on the channel. All the best.
You can link them. Good thought
awesome video
Thanks!
I believe those boys are near my hometown Waynesboro, Virginia
I believe so. 👍
@@TheRealMrDiGG they live about 10 minutes away don’t know them personally
@@raymondgochenour8725 Hey Raymond, yes we know each other it’s a small world lol. How have you been doing? Are you going to be at Camp Light tomorrow evening when I meet with Scott to go over the building pads?
@@QualityLawnCareServiceInc. I’ll be there cool
Sounds good
@ MR. DIGG what is the Biggest log / stump the B66 EAT & Thank you for sharing with us i enjoyed like normally
38"
@@TheRealMrDiGGoh wow that's a good size log
I still stay red pistachio shells mixed in the mouths would be cool. I'm not sure what color would probably go best with. But black definitely not black and red mulch. Nah, I'm thinking maybe dark brown and red. Or brown and red cause it's kind of a pink a** Red. So I think pistachio pistachio shells would look pretty cool in that brown mulch
lol
I don't know how else to say it. There's only one kind of mulch. I like red hemlock bark mulch maybe 10% of wood. And if that the rest is bark mulch, I love the color it's a lot ainer stays moist longer. The second dairy reason is it keeps weeds down better, but the first reason is the best. It stays moist longer which is the main purpose of mulch
intersting
You needs to invest in a torque amplifier!
Good idea
i was wondering why gringo was picked until i saw the spelling. makes sense
👍👍
Torqued to recommended working torque of "yes"
lol
Hey brother, I don't think we do it in Vermont. I think it would work as long as it's smaller than a pencil. Do you small trimmings and limbs? And bushes and etc for compost. I think it would work if it was chewed up enough stuff. I was just wondering if you guys do it or not. Definitely not Pi. Needles. Those are not accepted or grass is a big no no
yes small stuff for compost
did you finger out what was wrong with the one with the ENG problem and the DEF
Gonna do update video this week 👍👍
Ryan what did you find wrong with the shredder from the other day. What was the cause of malfunction please
Gonna make update video this week
Do you have a paper mill close? Just wondering if those trees are worth more as pulp or chips.
it closed down
😎
👍👍🍻
Do you guys use Never Seize on the chipper bolts? You need one of those Milwaukee 1-inch battery-powered impact guns and check the chipper bolts every morning. It might be worth saving on downtime.
good thought
Do you guys do a lockout/tag out procedure for working on the inside of equipment?
yes
algorithm just sent me a vid on a shredder that does shingles to sell to asphalt companies. saw you had shingles but whether or not you could separate them might be a factor.
might look into it
You had the flu hit ya so hard that you just pray for death? That's been me for the past few days, gettin better now tho! Thanks for the distraction!
Dang buddy, sorry to hear. Feel better soon ok! Take care
It appears the lower hookup on the water hose did not get latched properly.
do you all do compost too?
Do you charge for taking the tree waste or is it worth it to take it for free just to get the materials?
I remember in your last video after the technician hard surfaced and service the two machines when you looked at it you saw a loose tooth bolt, did that ever get tightened or did that come loose in this video?
it was tightened, different bolt this time
First! 🎉
🏆
That young guys gonna reply “What ya saying” for the rest of his life if he doesn’t get some ear protection real quick. That air gun is as loud AF in a confined space.
huh? jk, you're right
In Belgium nobody use coloured mulch. I wondering what dyes do you use for your different mulch?
you mean what brand? colorbiotics
@TheRealMrDiGG yes. Thanks for the answer and keep up with this great channel
Did you ever get that other roto chopper unlocked? I was wondering after everything you say about the machines and the company that they had no way to tell you what was wrong or how to fix it when you gave them the fault codes. Doesn’t seem like it’s really that great of a company besides good salesman and free beer.
video coming soon
@@TheRealMrDiGG you know I’ll be here. Keep them coming. You guys are an awesome crew.
Do you all separate the material or just mix it all together
we seperate hardwood for a double ground hardwood mulch
Do you put anti seize on them bolts
dont think so
Do you guys have any cat frontend loaders ?
not a one
Get rid of that IR Impact gun and get A torque multiplier
ok
Please give a shout out on your next video it will make me feel better keith thank you
i'll try to remember, why arent you feeling well?
crossthread is better than no thread and is also natures locktite 😜😜🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol
28:16 "Not too good", "Hoyt" from John Boy & Billy reference. Tell buddy I said "Duh huh", he'll know what you mean.
love John Boy & Billy!
