Some great young talent in that Burnley team tonight.
Moved the ball around at pace, even the keeper wanted to get involved . Overall such was burnleys pressure on the ball in fairness to huddersfield the clarets never let them get going. 70% of the ball for Burnley throughout the match tells it's own story.
Exactly how it was in anderlecht , it would deff work better than in the belgian leauge

I think kompany and Burnley will be onto a winner with this .
@@mrmash3085 i hope so in belgium its very defensive and searching for openings most of the time they are defending with 11 on their sides whole game , and in england its more open and attacking so it will be intresting to see

It's not good Cam ,Town fans booing their players off at HT, especially first game of the season. Burnley played well, Town will be OK this season 👌, you'll be up there challenging am sure .Championship a hard league
@@TheTony70504 no it most definitely wasn't good. I mean Yes it's Burnley a lot of premier league pedigree and yes it was the first game of the season. Yes it was only 0-1 but to be outplayed in every department. I think corberan leaving has had a massive affect on the squad and I think it will genuinely be tough for town this season. Burnley were great and will definitely be up there come end of the season

To summarise last night we kept the score down to 1 by sheer blind luck in the first half and actually making an appearance in the second half. I even dare say we were unlucky not to steal a point (and I really do mean steal, it would have been daylight robbery!)
One of the most shameful first halves of a game for years.Slow, unfit,out of position,tactically naive ,couldn't pass and a feeling that some players didn't give a shite.Carry on like that and it will be league 1 by February.
Wake up Schofield ,that team needs to change for the next game.

@@davidholgate123 we have some fickle fans David, I thought Burnley were on fire that first half, Town were shell shocked but we settled down a bit second half. We have to realise we have lost our manager and 2 best players it will take some time to adjust, but good luck to Burnley you played really well.
Good comment David. I'm a Town supporter and agree it's too soon to make a judgement. On this game Town we're dreadful which makes it hard to know just how good Burnley were.

Excellent from Burnley, I'd expect maybe three of those starters to get replaced by new signings, Costello is young and raw, did well but Rodriguez will start next game. Maybe back in for O'Hare, if so, Bastien would drop out, and not sure why Taylor is playing at CH but he's more than capable.

Lot of money spent on some good players by Burnley, but Costelloe looks quite good and he didn't cost a penny.
Please don’t play Ruffels, he is nowhere near good enough. Give Ben Jackson a chance and play Nakayama at left CB to give him the chance to give him the chance to get forward. I don’t think we are in trouble like some people are saying but we need to get rid of Ruffels.
"Getting rid" of a player rarely makes a squad better :D people said the same of Turton last season but he found his feet. Nakayama will get his chance soon enough...
@@gareth53 I see what your saying but keeping dead wood is never going to help either. Getting rid of him would raise funds in the wage budget. So to me there is more positives to him going than him staying. I still don’t think Turton is good enough to start, but Brodie Spencer looks like he needs at least another half a season before he is ready but Jackson has been on fire during pre season and looks ready for the challenge.

@@davidholgate123 by swallowing his whistle and allowing tackling, he even booked a player for making a tackle. Let them play and intervene only when necessary, the game is as much about the refs as anyone these days and that is wrong!
