This car exterior is in amazing condition. Inside could use a little love. My niece obsessed on these BC... before children. It looks fast when it's not even moving. Sounds mean. Great review.
You get a whopping 25 more horses with the LS from the factory...on paper. If you let the LT1 breathe, they make just as much HP or more, with more torque, and have a stronger bottom end. Plus they sound so much better than the LS. Severely underrated motor.
Keep your eyes open they are out there got one just barely for 500.00 running just needs a trans rebuild and if going full resto some light body work and a paint job. Interior not terrible just slightly worn due to age
The fire hawks and ws6s always my favorites. I had a 96 camaro and the opti spark sucks. But in there days much faster then a mustang. The ls1 in later years really helped them a lot.
Such a badass car, I love the body style. I saw one for sale for 6k with 55k miles, I have to pick it up. The one I'm looking at has upgraded gear 3:73s, cold air intake, MSD coilpacks, and a catback exhaust. Also has cloth interior, I would probably upgrade the seats to racing seats, and delete the back seats. I currently have a Trailblazer SS it's a badass truck, but I'm personally more into older cars and Firebirds have always caught my interest. Thank you for posting this, now I want one.

The problem with these are the flathead distributors right behind the crank. It gets massive exposure to heat and water and is a terrible design. I put 3 distributors in mine and never drove mine in water. For the price I paid for all I wish I would of did the MSD conversion. Other than that it's a torque monster and is fun to drive

Engine runs nice may need a tune up but has a bad trans shifts rough between 2nd to 3rd but giving I'm in the perfect industry I can get a complete reman for 1600 with a 3yr 100k warranty. Needs some light body work and a nice paint job if I choose to go full resto or just tune the hell out of it and make it look like a POS and just blow by bishes

But thing's changed, but I got me a 2017 5.0 an love it but i will get a at least 1998 TA FOR SURE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Then park the mustang yeah!!!!

These cars once you change the rims it just changes everything with new look instead of trying to figure out what looks good on it these are are super cheap to replace parts
Na those engines are tough , you just have to worry other stuff going out. If u take care of the engine it will almost last forever, specially the LT1 man. Bless you.
