Thank you for your message about public lands. I joined an outdoor hunting and angling organization even though I don't hunt, because of their advocacy of keeping public lands for the public. Ultimately, people have to vote for politicians who aim to keep that promise. Once lost, you don't get them back.
Hi Brian, thanks for providing info about those sacred lands and the video of the burial site very fascinating. I hope they never get access to those lands. Safe travels 🙏🏼🦅🪶⚖️✌🏼
Great timing--heading to Oak Flats next week on the way to Painted Desert/Petrified Forest with a stop at Boyce Arboretum. Had to chuckle when you gasped at paying $3.99 for gas. That's a cheap price now.😏
You will absolutely love the painted desert and the petrified forest. My husband and I went through there about five years ago. I have many wonderful fond memories of our life together. Sadly he passed two years ago
When are we going to get to see your traveling partner Kelly you guys always seem like you had fun together if not looks like you're having a good time though anyway enjoy your travels and have fun can't wait for the next video
Your videos always soothe the soul and expand our horizons! Will the rising cost of fuel alter any of your travels? Will you stay at destinations longer? We look forward to your next adventure meeting up with your friends at the Ren Fair! Thank you for sharing your journey and the beauty of our lands with us!
Another free camping option near Globe is the area around Roosevelt Lake. Stunning mountain & (if you're lucky) lake views, amidst the finest saguaro cactus region in AZ. A glance at the standard camping apps will provide specific locations around Roosevelt Lake.
Oak Flat was a beautiful area. When you switched cameras and gave us the panorama of the rocks, the saturation of color was so vivid! I need to rethink my traveling method. A travel trailer will be bery limiting.
Very well done video as always. I hope you get to hook up with your Renaissance Faire friends. I could totally see you doing that! I have been to Ren faires all over the country and it's always a good time.
Brian, another great video and it's good to see you mention Oak Flat area as well. I'm a Native American and to see mining or any destruction of the land hurts my heart The Europeans only know how to take and profit from the land. All the beautiful wild places are getting smaller. As my ancestors have said we don't own the land we are stewards of it, only take what you need and leave it as you found it. Dollar signs aren't always a good thing.
A nice day in good ole AZ is something else. Obviously during the winter. I'm boondocking just outside Lake Havasu City. The place can get very windy but if you look on a weather map you'll quickly see it is because the rest of the country is just getting pounded by extreme cold. We just catch the side swipes. When it is over and you get these 70+days , oh man. Then I realize again what a great lifestyle this is . Gas right now in Havasu for unleaded $4.70 a gallon. Over $5 for diesel. Ouch. For those of us who like to actively travel and not just stay put ,and have a minor cashflow challenge, that hurts.
Thank you for reaching out and informing your viewers of the fight to protect this Sacred land, and urge each and everyone of you to not only further spread the word to those around you and to take the time to contact your federal representatives and USFS/BLM officials to change those antiquated mining laws written by the mining magnets of the 19th century and protect these lands considered Sacred from time immemorial. When is enough enough? Again, thank you. BTW, been following you since you were in the PNW. Thanks for sharing your (envious) life with us. Be well. Stay healthy. Safe journeys. And happy trails. Glory to 🇺🇦!
It is tragic that in this day and age people are still having to protect sacred land and environments from the destruction and desecration of greedy companies.
You want to have sacred land but you want this and that it does not work that way unless you want to go back to Teepee land which will never come back in modern times. Enough is Enough its called grow the fuck up.
@@lawrenceconstantine7735 Your incoherent nonsense only shows how ignorant is the privileged. You are still for the destruction of culture older than you are and wiser than you are. Why? Are them mining companies giving you a dollar for the exchange of contaminate drinking water? Greed knows no bounds. No one is asking "teepee land" to come back. They are merely pleading with the public to stop destroying their cultural heritage.
I just went to my first renfaire a month or so ago and loved it! So much so I went the next week as well. It was the one near Apache. Junction.. hope you love it to!
Thank you for that awesome video of that federal land campsite I. I love that area. And thank you for the Apache information.. That sandwich looked to die for. I always put Mayonnaise on my egg sandwich too. happy trails!
Cool vidya. Doing my van electrical right now and we'll be ready to roll in a week or 2. But These fuel prices giving me a reason to be chill or in no rush really. lol.

Thanks for another quality video! Campsites, cooking, being flexible when things don't go as planned, and awareness of corporations trying to encroach on Sacred Lands-you covered everything well.

Gas is nearly $9.00 US per gallon here in New Zealand, even though our average wage is only about half that of a worker in the US.
Yeah our petrol is steep so is the cost of living in Auckland
