Same!! This is one of my comfort shows since my teens. In hindsight it's regrettable how dependant Xiang Qin is on Zhi Shu even though he tries so hard to counteract it. But I still very much love how this show was acted and how soft and yet funny and heartfelt it is. I even love the comically bad actors that play the nameless side characters. This show gives me so much comfort and to this day I love coming back to it as a 30-year old!
Watching this show got me through some hard times when I was a teenager, it made me smile when I had nothing else to smile about and ever since then it’s been a comfort show for me. Thank you for uploading it in high quality, I’m happy to be watching it again ☺️

And woah.. i seriously don't like her friends here, how could they think of spreading that photo to the whole school without her consent? That's shameful. I'm very grateful to not have such friends. That aside, i love both of the main characters. They really played their roles well, i love their acting!

I agree! This version didn't have the best friends. Instead of comforting her or bash Zhi Shu a little bit, they basically said you crazy for confessing. Also, in this episode, they didn't acknowledge her hard work!
What I can say here that Zhi Shu was like a good influence to Xiang Qin because she really tried to do her homework but if she was not living with Zhi Shu she will not even dare to open her textbook😂
Xian Qing is the one who does the chasing, but Zhi Shu is the one who keeps giving her the hope and making their relationship possible--here in this episode, the kiss, the change of college, the night at his apartment, and so on. We know in season 2 that he wasn't aware of his feelings until she rejects him before the kiss, but obviously he was feeling them before.

This will never not be my favorite version. The Thai version is good (and takes a lot of creative liberties) but Zhi Shu's character development is unbeatable. He becomes totally different, but his personality is still the same. Joseph Cheng's acting is amazing.

Been watching all of the version & TAIWAN VER. IS THE MOST realistic one! I started with Japan ver : Mischievous Kiss, but Furukawa Yuki as Naoki is too cold with less dialogue and expression. Baek seung jo fr Playfull Kiss has no expression, lack of chemistry, oh pls im hopeless with KHJ's acting. Joe Cheng is the most expressive and realistic ones! All of the actors are good, but Joe Cheng's acting is too good to portray Naoki / Zhi Shu ❤️❤️❤️❤️

You should watch The original version from 1996 itazura na kiss. The naoki character is suppose to be cold, unfeeling and expressionless.
