My favorite spot to go! I love the glider port and would often take walks and watch people fall off cliffs :-). I actually collected and started some actual Torrey Pines from seeds thinking they were Italian Stone Pines. Thanks for the great videos!
Barely made it back up from Black's Beach when I went the first time, what a trek 😪😂😂. As a new SD resident, love your tours of different areas!
Great vlog folks! My wife is from San Diego and grew up in a 1950's ranch at 4421 Hill Street right up from the water and Sunset Cliffs. Her mother sold it in 2014 to a doc's son and he razed it and built the mcmansion that's there now! Btw, if you wanna see one incredible view - head west up Hill St from Catalina Blvd and the telephone pole-less view over the crest will take your breath away!
I was there for 15 years from 2006 until we left there in 2020 for Aberdeen, WA and the incomparable Torrey Pines Lodge and golf complex was our singular mecca for special occasions. Absolutely love that place, the Arts & Crafts architecture and masonry, the public golf courses, and our fav eatery, The Grill. To us, there's no other spot like it on Earth and we miss it terribly! So it was great to see it again, thanks very much!
