I ran a Kepri toxin beacon runner FOREVER! I ran an acid Revenant at the same time, so Toxin are the only light weapon that I already have 6 at MK3. I'm glad to see that I could still run them. It's amazing against physical shields and resistance. I don't have the special Dagon yet, but I was hoping the toxin were good because I don't want to upgrade 6 new weapons! 😅
@@thenthtinkerer7635 The DOT weapons need to do DOT, HALF their damage should BE DOT. it has pros and cons, does not deal grey damage but make it deal HUGE damage over time. like 100 PER LIGHT weapon 150 for medium, and 200 for heavy. this means a behemoth with those weapons and some boosts now deals 1k damage per second for 5 seconds PER HIT. forcing phase shift or immediate healing from the enemy BUT the damage takes a second or two to ramp up!
The only downside of Toxin that I have is that the acid takes time to reach the target like the flamethrowers. Fast enemies can dodge the acid most of the time

They put it in leaderboards top prizes for certqin tasks ive seen one i think today as a top prize for reaching leaderboard for blue data pads or somthing check it out

There is no DoT upgrade... only direct damage upgrade. They need to undo their DoT nerf, which no one asked for. And possibly create a pilot that makes these weapons take 2 or even 3 times longer to reload, but increases the DoT duration 2 or 3 times.
I honestly don't care anymore. This game is p2w made by greedy afh devs that don't "balance" "new meta" till a season later. So broken that the new stuff can outperform titans.
The DOT weapons are not exactly dead, they suck against ANYTHING with shields, but fighting tanks they do REALLY good.

i have sheild breaker module on my dagon. cheaper than the conduit bushido. i prefer not i use over 10k module tokens a week.

The dot effect needs a buff,most DOT weapons just deal direct damage now...compared to the rust effect,they are obsolete

These weapons need a 20% damage increase and thats it. then they are really good again, right now they are mid.
They need to straight up undo the DoT damage nerf that no one asked for. I think it was -25%, so to make up for it, a 35% buff.

Maybe the Lynx executive module failed because it his Angler’s physical shield. But it’s HP was low so I thought its shield was gone…so could be a bug
