Dentinal map is basically an anatomical grooves present at the floor of the pulp chamber. These groovy are prominent in young teeth. However, in old teeth, where calcification of the orifices may have occurred this dentinal map may not be very obvious.

U didn't mention how to insert the file to locate mesiobuccal canal orifice...what is the reference point?
