Even though I've played through the core scenarios (not as campaign yet) before watching these, it was fun to watch... But, it is horrendous how many wrong rules have been played throughout all these, in an official playthrough... which should be a guidance in case players are uncertain how to play by the rules and rely on these videos.
This guys are great they're the reason i liked this board game and bought mines from amazon and about the rules you right they made just a few errors like for example the red card virgois mortis all enemies use a special attack and this guys evaded a zombies suicide lunge and the characters suffer a damage that you cant prevent and some other rules thats why like myself i always have play scenarios like 2 to 3 times because is hard to complete them when you play straight by the rulebook is challenging but this guys didnt cheat at all it was just a few mistakes that they were not aware of but other than that i learned how to play RE2 board game thanks to this steamforged game guys right now im on scenario 6A once i pass the whole core game im purchasing the expansions cant wait to play them.
Another great video and what a finale! We finished our 'A' files campaign (including Alligator and Giant Moth expansions) last night and used the expansion 'Malformations of G' set to evolve Birkin to Stage 4 after the first take down - going to take a break from the board game to play the Resident Evil 2 video game remake...then back to the Board Game B Files....then on to the Nemesis video game by which time the Resident Evil 3 Board Game Kickstarter will be getting shipped....cool! I hope they bring you guys back for a playthrough of 3 when it gets released, I take it Gareth will only play if he can be Carlos... ha ha!
I would like to ask three questions: 1- If I roll a push as a result in the dice, can I choose not to perform it? 2- I know the Colt S.A.A. starts with six bullets, but if I use the handgun bullets on it, can I reload it above 6 bullets? If not, can I save the two bullets that would be left for later, or I discard the card after reloading it? (I imagine I would discard the card and reload only 6 bullets) 3- If you attack with the knife and fail, do all enemies move or only the one you attacked (because I don't know if it generates sound)?
Those are great questions. I think I know the answer to the 3rd one. Knife actually generates sounds. I think its silly but... so yes other enemies in the existing and linked tile will move forward.
1. Instructions say you may push as long as it doesn't go around corners, closed doors or diagonal if there's an intervening wall blocking. 2. The pistol ammo does say to reload the Colt by 8 however the ammo counter on the weapon indicates its capacity so you can't hold the extra bullets unfortunately. 3. Any attack action attracts enemies.
1-Yes, rules say "may" push. So it's an option. 2-No the Colt S.A.A has 6 ammo max. Also Shotgun has 5 ammo max and SMG has 6 ammo max. The extra wespon wheel ammos are for the Custom Shotgun (which has 7) and the Minigun in the Survival Expansion (which has 8) with also uses the SMG Wheel. 3-Yes they do!
The ending was amazing. Claire leaped into the air before Birkin could deliver that final blow and stabbed that ugly in the mid eye for good.... for now... hehe
I would love to see a B campaign, perhaps using add-on characters, or a PvP level. Ideally using the correct rules from the book, like crossbow knockback, and stating the inaccuracies in this A series.
The birkin card, does say for each attack to him he does a move reaction. But that is different from a behaviour reaction that its on his behaviour deck after the character 4 moves
Will you guys eventually release some of the other expansions for those (such as myself) that unfortunately missed the Kickstarter? I really want the malformations of G expansions!
If I recall B Files, Survival Horror, both Malformation Expansions, and Fourth Survivor will be released at retail over time, I think it's just Alligator and Murder from Above that won't be.
I thought a licker mores 1 space every time you move but the way your playing, you total up how many times you moved? 5:07 shouldn't he move on to you again even if you dodged then moved?
This game is great, but not being able to get the alligator expansion for less than the core game is infuriating. What a terrible decision by steamforged.
Will you guys be running the B campaign as well? It’s been kicking my butt, but finally moving onto 12B!
How can you play the B campaign? The Wire Cord mentions it but I don't see anything on the Scenario book
@@MarioAdNoman you can use the wire cord in A scenario too. The B files are a separate extension
I'd love to see you play the other modes like B campaign or survival horror. Maybe even have the other expansions included?
Loved this entire let’s play. Would love to see you two go at it more in board games.

def agreed on the rules bit. but still i did learn a ton from this.

This was the best one yet!

20:00 you have 9 items in your inventory.
He picked up a side pack in the earlier stages which puts his inventory to 10 slots.
The rules say bosses do not react. So Birkin should not be moving after each shot?

Can u guys do gameplays on the expansions and explain all the expansions as well please and thank u ! I loved all ur scenario videos
I love your videos in this game is so awesome I just picked it up for myself
I'd love to see the expansions played as well to see if its worth the buy😍
29:18 his attack is like a combo. It missed the first, then moves and does a second attack. The second attack is suppose to have range no?
37:30 where did the extra magnum bullets come from? 😅
The only thing that would have made this better is if that classic self destruct sequence had been playing in the background.
Awesome campaign thank you so much. Please make more sets available! I can’t find the alligator or the doors anywhere.

Setukh
Thanks!!!
Please do a reprint of Malformations of G Core Expansion , I only fino the B-Files, I love this game but its hard to find some parts
I hate when people vibrate dice in their palms and you can see them not even flipping.
I thought a licker mores 1 space every time you move but the way your playing, you total up how many times you moved? 5:07 shouldn't he move on to you again even if you dodged then moved?
Just brill.
great ending. Good game guys!!
Release "Resident Evil: The Board Game: The Video Game" already!! XD
Not gonna lie, that ending was a little exciting. Stabby stab
Hahah brill end :)
Technically wouldn't you have lost since leon fell and could not be healed ??
stabby stabby stab stab!
got it love it the knife is a boss weapon. got a licker problem send in the knife. done a knife play tho.was hard but leon is epic.
Where was mr big boy X TYRANT? That could of been more epic and all the strong enemies spiders alligator and the hunters
Alligator and mr x are expansions.
This game is great, but not being able to get the alligator expansion for less than the core game is infuriating. What a terrible decision by steamforged.
