Wow thank you so much for taking the time to create this super helpful video. This was my concern, I have recently after 1 year started to give my Dog tic supplement, but I felt an inner conflict, as I take no medication and I don't believe in them, then I asked why am i giving my dog. So now I am learning from you, I realize I have to take the time to educate myself better, and I already feel called to start giving him preventive treatments such as small amounts of garlic and oils etc. Instead of buying a medication which I wouldn't want in my own body as you rightly said. You are doing a service to humanity and even though you may not have as many viewers I believe as human awareness rises, more people will become aware of the benefits of using natural methods and let go of the old medications unless it is absolutely needed as you mentioned.

exactly! flea and tick control products that kill the pest...will also adversely affect your dog/cat (eventually)...there are no shortcuts, and whatever we do to the environment, we do to ourselves...that's why prevention and natural repellants are best

Don’t feel terrible, that will make you pup worry about you! I have had to use chemical spot ons before: it’s not an all or nothing approach, I just prefer to use chemical only in case of dire need 😉

Ive heard that if you put a white t-shirt on your dog, it helps w/keeping them off the torso and gives great contrast if they are sitting there as ticks are generally darker in color

I totally agree. Nexguard destroyed my border collies thyroid, did the same to his brother as well so now he has BCC which means he can cool down by panting.

Hey Micol, thank you for your wonderful videos. I have gone out and got some Pure Neem Oil....If I make up your recipes which I have downloaded - how long will they last before the Neem becomes ineffective? Also, do you have an updated link for the Amber necklaces? LOVE YOUR WORK!

Thanks for all the content! Very informative! I have 5 dogs one of them epileptic and 2 of them had Erhlichiosis last year, they caught them at the vet while going under treatment. My question is Snap Test4xD can show as well antibodies, so it may your pet still test positive but you need to make sure if its because current infection or antibodies, for that you need to send blood samples to Iddex.
In my case my dog had been in 6 full rounds of 28 days treatment, that is a lot of antibiotics. So not sure if in Europe the vets how long they can keep treatment for?

I am lost of knowing what to do.i am in the Philippines and my dog is covered with ticks. I pull them out every day. I pull them out by the hundred's and it looks like I have not even touched them. There is so many. I shampoo with a peppermint shampoo but to late they are already there. I was thinking of trying the garlic but can I also use medications at the same time.

thanks for the great info, wow...very helpful and taking the natural route which is preferred; not trying to be rude but your hand gestures are very distracting while listening to you speak, and you talk really fast but love the Irish accent

I've loved everything you've had to say, except for at the very end when you gave in and used frontline .. if once was enough and you detoxed, fair enough, but I've heard holistic vets say that months afterwards, or at some stage, neurological and other serious symptoms can happen as a result, that because it took a while for the body to react, you may not think to connect the dots. I don't want to risk this with my 3 month old kitten. I'm just starting to get on top of the flea infestation, partly helped by relocating her temporarily so she's not in the firing line. I will alsol be using biofeedback on the fleas in this environment, if I can find one when I have the opportunity to start this, and then target them with the specific frequency to kill off the colony, usually taking a few weeks, according to other people who have done this.
