This episode is not "haha weird" is "creepy weird"
100% agree
Magic man style
Well maybe a little creepy weird
The episode was basically Finn playing God and being a witness to all the consequences that come with selfish choices.
I really like episodes like this where Finn has ethical dilemmas, it's an important step in The Hero's Journey and it really makes him a well rounded character.
I honestly didn't find this episode weird personally just fascinating, but the deer episode... the DEER episode
It had fingers 😶
Those deer hands 😢😮😮😢
@@sopmophq7672🖖🏾🤌🏾🖐🏾👐🏾🦌
Bro was ready to throw hands 💀
This episode is like a guy discovering and making a fanfic
Magic Man's reference is to Aleister Crowley's homebrew religion of Thelema. Infamously his faith has one law: "Do what thou wilst will be the whole of the law." This episode is clearly, in part, about adult time activities alone and Crowley was well known for espousing the power of sex magic. I never caught that before watching this, that's pretty trippy. It seems at least some elements of Thelema have survived in some form into the land of OOO, and it informs Magic Man's thinking. This ties OOO's events to real world events in a way that I did not expect.
Not trying to be rude, I'm laughing so hard at him sliding around in the screen like a DVD player screen saver lmao, just a little bumpy guy.
😂😂
@@paxw37it’s crazy, because this actually keeps more people’s attention in the video as they await for it to bounce on the corner. Didn’t expect turning a face cam into a bouncing screensaver makes people get more watch time.
I assume its also to avoid copyright
That wasn't just any cryptic message, it's a reference to the phrase "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" which originated from the religion Thelema, developed by occultist Aleister Crowley, the phrase basically means that meaning that followers of Thelema should seek out their true path, or in Thelemic terms True Will.
Which is pretty interesting to be referenced in this episode considering what happened..
Yeah I should have definitely talked more about that. This is one of my first videos so I was still kind of learning. Maybe I should make a newer video talking more about it.
The very first episode of Adventure Time I watched was the "My way," episode, the title involves picking your own path or way. The one that begins with creepy clown nurses literally licking their wounds and kissing their boo-boos. Finn gets skeeved and rushes out on a random path, screaming "my way," then just screaming primally after choosing his own path.
It. Was. NUTS. _GREAT_ introduction to the series.
_"Bring out the C-listers."_
- Jake the Dog
That's funny because I literally just re-watched that episode the other day. Such a good episode.
I feel like this episode is a general commentary on the fan base and how they do shipping
Ah yes the Sims episode.
All the Little People is messed up. It's one of my favorites.
Finn plays Sims and takes it way too far
😂
Did anyone els notice that when magic man left the beg on finn he was quoting Allister Crowley before saying i am not coming back
I’ve never found this episode weird at all tbh.
Me waiting for him to bounce perfectly off the corner
😂
The Deer episode, in my opinion, is the only bizarre episode across all seasons.
True. To this day I don't know what's going on
To me there’s a few weird ones. There’s the little people, the one with the deer, the one where they go into a vortex to another world and lose their memories, and the one where the try to go to the pool. Most of them aren’t bad just a little weird. Except the pool one that one I could have lived without knowing.
This episode reminded me of being a kid and playing The Sims.
Pretty much did what Finn did..
crazy relatable.
Have you ever try to read the book above lady rainicorn? It talks about relationships and what Jake was saying in the beginning about heart bu-bumps. The message seems to repeat it’s self.
I haven't. But I should really look into it because that seems so interesting
They way he twiddles his fingers after they’re revealed was just unnerving lol
Whoever made that episode was sexually sick, like that one where finn forced beef onto fire princess and ice king
On one hand the tiny versions of all of them are kind of cute but on the other hand it also is kind of creepy
1:02 He finally hits the corner of the screen.
My first episode I think was Finn's birthday on the train episode, first time i saw Finn and Jake and already thought Jake was dead already.
the cryptic message that magic man whispers is a quote from Aliester Crowley, a famous occultist, huh! I never noticed before this before this video
i knew it was comin when i clicked on the video but still gets me seein people talk about watching this episode when they were a kid... cuz my ass is old and I was in my 20s watchin new eps religiously
Hell this came out in 2012 so I was already dating my eventual husband, pretty sure I was big into dark souls pvp at the time too
beatin up folks as an invader in the duke's library with my estoc (i know) and gettin hatemail on gfwl
thems were the days
Finn really had to do that to jake girl
I didn't mind jake leaving finn for a while like that's just too weird 😅
Would you be interested in a collaboration video with someone who is extremely interested in this show
i remember this episode airing right before my birthday back in 2012 and stuck with me since then. i’ve always wanted someone to elaborate and explore this episode. definitely one of my favorite strange eps of adventure time cause it reflects finn’s character in season 5. love your content!
“What the ball, man”
If it’s the only one you’ve ever seen how do you have any frame of reference.
Finn is a masochist
I Love JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
What really bothers me is why the hell Finn suggested in the beginning that BMO and Ice King would be a good pairing? Wtf?
Yeah that episode really sticked out to me.
I wouldn’t have done what Finn did but I definitely would have played with them. They’re living toys. It’s like Toy Story if they kept talking when kids were around. But Finn took it in a weird direction.
Be honest, you’d do the same. Just to see what’d happen.
No, no I wouldn't. I would get bored really quickly
That episode never aired in Brazil 😢
Please touch the corners
0:19 GUYS HE DID IT
The episode reminded me of what I did with my stuffed animals and Lego figures. Just playing out stories with characters I can control, mostly love triangles because I was lonely.
I also feel like the episode could have been inspired by the idea of fanfictions, taking established characters and twisting them to your liking. (in this case negatively) Gumball also did a great episode on this idea.
I think the small versions of the Adventure Time characters are pretty cute
my mom thought the ep of jake having kids was weird
i loved that episode
JUST HIT THE CORNER IF THE SCREEN
6:37 what is that word he's saying? He says it 2-3 seconds after start of the time stamp... Poignant? Maybe? If so, I think he's not familiar with the word on paper, and sounded it out "fonetiklee," leaving us with "poig-nANT," rather than "poin(g)-yunt." The first syllable ends not in a strong -ng, such as sing, bring, etc. Instead it should be almost silent, like you're biting off the letter g, but a small cusp is left behind. (It's a lot like a glottal stop, but not fully - poi[ngye]nt. That 'n-g-y-e(/u)' piece is the sound for the [××] section in: poi[gn]ant.
Or is there some mush-mouth over an entirely different word?
Just curious. I always appreciate the content creators; you guys fill my entertainment void.
So.
Thank you. Keep on creating; it's a rich topic from which much speculation and mystery solving can be wrung out over multiple video essays.
Yes it's poignant. Never realized but I've been saying that wrong my entire life. 😂 Thank you though for the support!
In my opinion I think this is adorable ----> 8:05
This is the only episode I watched of adventure time or atleast remember
App Name?
Why is bro the DVD LOGO
Hit the edge of the screen
Heh, forgot about this one lol
I gotta admit that dvd player logo facecam is distracting me
I live super auto pets
The jiggle of the booty at the start lol completely unnecessary but I’m here for it lolol😂
Man, activate the subtitles please. I'm not native english person and having english subtitles help to understand the words. Thanks.
I thought this episode reminded of Sims 🤣
Why the fuck is this not on HBOMax
I think this episode was banned on my country lmao never seem this before

@@HelloHello8D Fair enough
I never got the meaning of this episode and i'm still kind of not grasping it, all i understand is "playing god is wrong and free will is good"... but am i missing something... i don't get the emotional growth in the characters
You bouncing around the screen is bonkers
This episode just explain fetish to me..
Adventure Time is cringe "kids" show made by creeps that wanted to show these weird plotlines to children. XD
