I found the ending rather touching and heartbreaking when the Droids had to leave just after their masters went into lightspeed. But then again it was necessary as they felt they would've stood in their way to get the job opportunity they were granted as they wouldn't have taken their circumstances seriously had they turned it down just to keep R2 and 3PO. This episode certainly had heart indeed, I truly miss this era that'll be missed indefinitely 😢🙏⭐️🎗🕊
I wish there was a complete collection of all the incidental music somewhere. This soundtrack is incredible! I actually like the incidental pieces more than the main theme since. (only thing is that the show often jump between scenes or between moods so quickly that the music doesn't have time to play out very often)
Cheers to all the senior Star Wars fans who remember seeing this when it was new back in the day,We are the ones who will tell the children of the future about Lucas films glory days! MTFBWY.
Awesome. Haven't seen this since it originally aired when I was a kid. I remember watching this back to back with the Ewoks cartoon as well. Just wish the entire series, along with the Ewoks show, was available on DVD instead of the butchered versions that did come out years back. Heck, I'm not even sure if this is considered canon anymore since Disney took over the Star Wars franchise.
Surprisingly, it wasn't. Even after Revenge of the Sith was released, Lucasfilm retconned a story where Artoo and Threepio became separated from the Tantive IV for a few years, so they could have these adventures, before finding their way back. But when Disney took over, they wiped everything from canon except the live action episodic movies and the CG Clone Wars movie and series. Literally everything.
Whoa that's 2-1B at 6:44! He's the medical droid who put Luke Skywalker into the bacta tank in ESB. His color scheme is completely different here, though
As much as I enjoyed watching Star Wars: Droids myself, I would've preferred giving Boba Fett's outfit the same colors that were given to his outfit of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Thanks for the time you put this up! Best quality I've seen of the original un-edited version. Music and longer video footage is very much appreciated on this versus the dvd edits.
Those racing tubes are just like the ones from that old Star Wars Racer game! :D I like this animated version of Boba but idk why than in legends/EU he had that one time different armor gear ;/ Admiral Screed is unknown to me but i know there is a canon version of him.
For those saying this isn't canon..this takes place between revenge of the Sith and a new hope ..period of anything force awakens and the last Jedi are not canon

I wonder how their masters reacted once they discovered they were gone?
@@Hewylewis Can't imagine the feeling they'll get once they know 😢
Enters Boba Fett.....I grew up watching Star Wars Droids.....Love it!!!
the music in this show is fantastic.
This is the real Star wars universe!!! Legends never will be only legends!!! Support from Slovakia!

"It's a trap!"
Kea said it 19 years before Ackbar did.
@Aaron pfund The show takes place in 15 BBY, ROTJ was in 4 ABY. That makes it 19 years.
Now THIS is podracing!
This is seriously nostalgic; i barely remember this episode and others since i last saw them 30yrs ago. Thanks for posting.

Despite being worry-prone and nervous, saving R2D2 from that rogue robot was the bravest thing C3PO has ever done.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this channel and all of these episodes of both series available!
It kinda pisses me off that Droids isn't considered canon.
For over two decades the Star Wars EU was the pinnacle of imagination and creative adventures, before the dark times, before Disney.
Disney destroys everithing. MOSTLY STAR WARS. Disney kill SW for ever!
Enjoying this series so far.
Was that the great Long John Baldry as Proto-1? Awesome!
"I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG-- er, I mean, nice meeting you, R2-D2!"
Boba Fett is in this episode.
And he is 16 years old according to star wars Canon.
He was born in 31BBY and this takes place in 15BBY.
Udder Mayhem plus he started of as a father at a young age
Aaron pfund No, it doesn't. Check the wiki again.
Aaron pfund Hmm, interesting.
+Aaron pfund If it did, It would take place even before the Phantom Menace. Also, Boba would have to be at least Sixty in the Original Trilogy.
I love BOBA FETT
13:40 way to go C3PO!
Wow almost forgot this existed. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for uploading!
Classic show

The fight took place in the night, the race took place in the day, they had at least a few hours to catch up with them to warn them...
the best episode
Boba Fett is so badass
Anthony Daniels still lives in Force Awakens
I disagree so much. Good friends are irreplaceable while "success" becomes meaningless in time.
Written by Steven Wright? Surely it can't be the one I'm thinking of.
+Sarcastic Tacos Paul Dini worked on this show, as well.
Ce l avevo in vhs registrato grande!
In the droids I keep hearing Freddy Krueger music and in the ewoks I keep hearing Jason Voorhees music lol
Love this cartoon
PROTO-1 returns in the comic "Agent of the Empire: The Iron Eclipse". Sadly, he is destroyed there.
story arc 1 ends here, as it started with ep. 1; the white witch
Boba Fett 😲
Why does a Droid need a cane?
WTF!!! What kind of ending was that???!!!
backwards hyperspace XD
This is the same Animation from the holiday special scene!!! Boba Fett is the same style
Too bad I can't find the complete series on eBay, Amazon, Wishlist, Target, Best buy, Barnes n Noble, or Walmart.com.
Boba fett !
BL-series Battle Legionnaire....oh yes
THis was definitely better than that crappy Ewok cartoon that followed on Sat mornings.
your username rocks !
Thermal detonator 17:18
15:03 ...well yea...and Darth Vader...come to think of it where the Hell are they in this Series?
Yes I was there but my color was different I guess I was gray and orange and brown but then in the movies I was changed into green yellow read
sounded a bit like scooby doo there lol
For those saying this isn't canon..this takes place between revenge of the Sith and a new hope ..period of anything force awakens and the last Jedi are not canon
Jon Snow Agreed Mr. Snow
