At 4:56 paused & zoomed in you can see Dale's front left tire slightly turned towards Winger. Winger's nose piece is a little past Dale's seat. Dale is moving up away from a lapped car and pinching Winger. Wingers' move is almost perfect timing, he has to take advantage of that situation.
McDowel was also going for a tear off, not sure how much that has to do with it, but it looked like he had one hand on his helmet when the contact happened.

@@jimbobjennings8266 I think it's more that those cars are harder to see out of than they used to be, especially with the seats like they are. I've been around Dale since he started, and I've never seen him get into anyone on purpose

surprising to me that Kubota would choose a guys who make their monies through promoting, you tube vids,legal, etc.etc. and race as a hobbyist instead of going with someone full time who is on the cusp like a good chunk of this field or Brandon Overton or Marlor or someone like that where the sponsor on car is up front and visible.
The Joiner brothers have the businesses moving in the right direction but not the race team. They have the budget to hire professional help but instead they keep guessing

McDowell is getting pretty long in the tooth and the peripheral vision isn't what it use to be . The old man plain crushed Winger end of story.
