Same here sir.. I did not learn Carnatic Music But its most scientific music which creates Baava without your knowledge . That is why those feelings are coming automatically - Western music is feeling less
one thing to note here is how in to it everybody are. the way they sing the taans or swarakalpanas you can tell that they already know what's coming. i am looking foreword to tomorrow february 2 2021 for the anual thyagaraja aradhana festival. i am not from india nor from indian origin. but i love indian music in general. i learn hindustani from two teachers in london, and i learn carnatic all by myself. since there are no teachers around, i have to rely heavyly on youtube and the internet and intencive listening. after all, when you have the technique down in hindustani, the other style becomes much easyer for you to grasp. so that is one advantage i have here when it comes to both styles. i am self tought in carnatic, but my hindustani training helps me out imensly from a technical point of view. my dream is to sing in films with a trained voice, so that is why i am learning classical singing. ok i think i have rambled to much. best wishes for all the singers tomorrow. hello from an iranian woman all the way from Sweden: Nicki Rafiei.
@@arjunbrij9442 thank you so much arjun for your comment. as of now i have completed my training in hindustani ( even though i really wanted to continue it so badly ) so i feel i have now got the basics down to some extent. however i am still learning the southindian style on my own through youtube. there are some good channels that give you the basics of carnatic singing, but if i ever want to get in contact with a teacher later on in the future, then i would love to learn from Shreenidhi Tirumala Venkatesh, who is a phenomenal singer and teacher in her own right. she has done some playback as well for films like baahubali 2, telugu ammai, shivam, ( a kannada film staring uppendra if i am correct ) om namo venkatesaya, etc. so yeah she is quite known name in the music seen. so since she conducts classes via the internet, through some app like skype or recently zoom or anything like that, i would love to learn from her incase i might want to start my formal training in southindian style of singing. i have a view that learning both styles of indian classical music makes you a much stabler singer according to me, so that is why i am doing it. thanks again arjun! stay safe!
@@nickirafiei5306 Your earlier comment about the singers anticipating the swarakalpanas is correct. If you noticed, in the very first composition, "Endaro mahanubahvalu" "there are so many great souls", lyrics alternate with pure sequences of swaras which cannot be swarakalpanas. They are an integral part of the composition as constructed by the composer. Swarakalpanas would be the notes composed by the singer on the fly in the raga taking into account the specific tala.

One great thing is, there are many top artists, professional singers to beginners... but all are singing in single frequency leaving their language, region from where hail, their position experience etc... only to respect the great sole of Sri Tyagaraja...
Credit for preserving Carnatic music in its original prestine firm and style, rooted in sama veda, goes to Tamil Brahmin community more than anybody else. They have managed to retain and preserve the ethos despite efforts by the invaders and European colonisers.
Great Saint thyagaraja dedicated his songs his life his soul to lord Rama , in memory of the great Saint all are singing his songs irrespective of language differences, if you hear these five songs silently the rhythm always whispering in your ears and heart, especially the last one saint gave respect and salute to all saints and devotees. Only saints can do this, Even a singer can't appreciate his competitive person wholeheartedly, saint thyagaraja do namaskarams to all devotees, god bless all these people, Jai Shriram
Dwell into the beauty of the lyrics and compositions it gives window of how humble thyagaraja might have been this renditions are from the saints soul. All the pomp, pride, ego of oneself will get shattered once they understand meaning these kritnas it will question our character and our fickle mindedness and raise our spirits to that supreme oneness... share the wisdom to one and all...

Beauty of India where language script are different BUT culture is same. This is unique in the world . Excellent group singing of pancharathna krithis. Though I am a Telugu, I appreciate the devotion and dedication of Tamil brothers in singing these krithis. Only Tamils can do it.
Brother these are tyagaraja kirthanas. By the way tyagaraju swami belongs to your one of telugu districts called Prakasam district.
They aren’t only Tamils, Hindus from all over India
not only tamils others can do there are many other legends who can sing it just dont have ego in your words
@@parentsareforever yes. telugus are also there but u people r good at preserving indian culture
So true, even I am a Telugu person and completely agree with you. The dedication and bhakti of tamilans is unmatched.
So Divine, salute tamilians for keeping our culture alive❤❤
Telugu people are soo lucky to have such great music composers like
Sri saint Tyagaraaja🙏🙏🙏🙏
Not only for telugu people but for all the people who know and can sing them are thankful to sait tyagaraja
The first kriti is in Sanskrit . Remaining four are in Telugu .
But most of don't know the greater musical ability of the great Carnatic music composer Saint Thyaraja Swamy.
Not just Telugu people, all of us, Bharateeya people are lucky to have a great music composer 🙏, it's also lucky for Telugu people that Thyagaraja swamikal is a Telugu himself

@@aswindileep6018 why ? Music have no religion ? Ofcourse but you should study the history and evolution of carnatic music and then give the same Statement .
I did not learn carnatic music but I immensely like it. It takes me to different world. Respectful to all who made it and to those rendering it in all languages. God bless u all. Rama Sharma
Same here sir.. I did not learn Carnatic Music But its most scientific music which creates Baava without your knowledge . That is why those feelings are coming automatically - Western music is feeling less
Absolutely correct.
one thing to note here is how in to it everybody are. the way they sing the taans or swarakalpanas you can tell that they already know what's coming. i am looking foreword to tomorrow february 2 2021 for the anual thyagaraja aradhana festival. i am not from india nor from indian origin. but i love indian music in general. i learn hindustani from two teachers in london, and i learn carnatic all by myself. since there are no teachers around, i have to rely heavyly on youtube and the internet and intencive listening. after all, when you have the technique down in hindustani, the other style becomes much easyer for you to grasp. so that is one advantage i have here when it comes to both styles. i am self tought in carnatic, but my hindustani training helps me out imensly from a technical point of view. my dream is to sing in films with a trained voice, so that is why i am learning classical singing. ok i think i have rambled to much. best wishes for all the singers tomorrow. hello from an iranian woman all the way from Sweden: Nicki Rafiei.
Best wishes to you. Keep learning, keep exploring.
@@arjunbrij9442 thank you so much arjun for your comment. as of now i have completed my training in hindustani ( even though i really wanted to continue it so badly ) so i feel i have now got the basics down to some extent. however i am still learning the southindian style on my own through youtube. there are some good channels that give you the basics of carnatic singing, but if i ever want to get in contact with a teacher later on in the future, then i would love to learn from Shreenidhi Tirumala Venkatesh, who is a phenomenal singer and teacher in her own right. she has done some playback as well for films like baahubali 2, telugu ammai, shivam, ( a kannada film staring uppendra if i am correct ) om namo venkatesaya, etc. so yeah she is quite known name in the music seen. so since she conducts classes via the internet, through some app like skype or recently zoom or anything like that, i would love to learn from her incase i might want to start my formal training in southindian style of singing. i have a view that learning both styles of indian classical music makes you a much stabler singer according to me, so that is why i am doing it. thanks again arjun! stay safe!
Best wishes ☺️ sister 💞
Really happy to hear this message....
All the best 👍🏻 ❤️

@@kalyanaramansrinivasan9958 thank you so much
@@nickirafiei5306 Your earlier comment about the singers anticipating the swarakalpanas is correct.

So many singing together is really great
Credit for preserving Carnatic music in its original prestine firm and style, rooted in sama veda, goes to Tamil Brahmin community more than anybody else. They have managed to retain and preserve the ethos despite efforts by the invaders and European colonisers.
My lifelong desire to attend this festival being a musician I really admire music fraternity of associated with this festival
Only saints can do this,
Even a singer can't appreciate his competitive person wholeheartedly, saint thyagaraja do namaskarams to all devotees, god bless all these people, Jai Shriram

You go to Assam they narrate same NARASIMHA STORY , you go to Vishnoi Devi Same Mahiisha Mardini story , you go to Dwarakha same Krishna Story -- The entire south India even though the language is different culture is 100% same.
We should embrace each other . Try to learn more than one language which is easy as 80 % nouns are same . Let us shed that language identity and let us identify as HINDU or Indians

I can proudly Say That the Mum Murthigal Born in my District.
All languages are great. But the message in them is relevant . Feeling has no language. Devotion has no language. When God has to send peace to the deserving soul, he does not need language to convey his love . His greatness is not limited by man made languages and religions. Language is the cup in which nectar of devotion is received.
Telugites & telugu embraced every language, loved every culture, but to the contrary the one who commenting about linguistic differences must learn who are fanatics that tamilnadu have signboards only in tamil and replies in tamil alone to the visitors these called narrow mindedness?? Grow up guys.. Agree & accept the truth that there are languages far better than tamil.. Chill🙏
