My base food store is a small tub containing bags of rice, oats and self raising flour. Can be stored in your bag for years, provides a week's food alone, with nice variety and even provides oat milk! Then of course you can refill them with foraged flours and preserves.
The inflatable sleeping mats aren't a good idea. If you've got some kind of pillow for your head you only actually need support and insulation for your back and hips. Arms and legs don't need it, so just a very small pad is all you need - and even that is luxury. Consider the size of your mat and how much wasted space you never even touch!
You say you get bored, but I don't think that book is going to be enough. I would recommend a story book with episodes like a TV show that you can dip into occasionally. And I use dynamo power and solar power to keep my lights and gear charged. I have a tiny low power music and video player as well as a little games console that can be kept running indefinitely. Also I have two musical instruments, cards, dice, etc.
For being stealthy headlamps are the worst! Keep lights low and pointed at the ground, and rely on night vision instead as much as possible. Binoculars or a telescope can be very useful. Sewing kit for repairs. Also a lock picking kit, as well as a good amount of knowledge and experience using it. Likewise everyone has a fishing kit but none of them seem to ever use it. Does it work? Can you use it effectively? A "pen rod" is a better option. But without knowledge and experience any skill must first be LEARNED! Slinging is a good thing to learn. You can make a sling from a piece of rope in moments and use stones as ammunition. Clay or lead bullets work better though, and are easy to make.

    Good vid, new sub 👍
    I'm just by Prestatyn.
We have some amazing hills and woodland. Your in the exact area I always gravitate to. I have a few favourite spots around the Dyserth and Cym area.
Have to be careful cos most of the farmers are all Mostyn Estate tenants and don't take too kindly to stealth campers. Got chased off when rumbled a couple of years back.
But what they dont know dont hurt plus don't leave no trace.
I couldn't manage the weight you were packing, I prefer a lighter loadout and hammock and tarp
Looking forward to watching more adventures 😉

When you have poisoned yourself with cyanogenic glycosides you get to recognise the taste (almonds), I like to seek the truth for myself and Cherry Laurel is deffinately poisonous, and I was seeing the bright lights as my brain/eye cells were being terminated and I was confined to my bed. Not the only thing I have poisoned myself with either, (one really was 50/50), so you might say I am an expert 😂😂😂 .
Nice shout out Andy, I regarded my practical as setting up the software and using the Windows operating system, though I have built a lot of circuits which was massively helpful.
    Very informative video.

All apple seeds have the potential to release 0.6 mg of hydrogen cyanide per gram. This means that a person would have to eat 83-500 apple seeds to develop acute cyanide poisoning. In other words, consuming cups of ground apple seeds might be fatal, or at least cause illness. Consuming the odd pip here or there is OK. Great video BTW.

I have thought a lot about a ham radio license... but at the end of the day. If the shit hits the fan people will answer... I still might go for it anyway lol... one thing though, and I'm not a prepper. in the event of an emp, all electrical kit is redundant

Your pack looks great and full of stuff but how much does it weight ? With around 20kg on my back I'm already really tired with a walk of around 10km and would not plan an "escape" that is long with so much weight you have.

not keen on the tent, design is ok but white stands out a mile,
(when you use a light inside it becomes a lantern)
especially to eagle eyed farmers, if it was a SHTF situation you might get
    raided/robbed or worse
