Hello Paige! I’m new to this channel & just subbed 🥰 I presume you’re on his team...I just wanted to thank you for doing this as I know full well how much y’all are sacrificing & risking your lives for the greater good of mankind ! 💞🌎
I’m in Emergency Management & got a degree in it recently as my kids grew up , left home & I went back to school. I’d already been volunteering intermittently when their dad had them & weekends when they’d be at summer camp, friends etc doing “Disaster Response & Recovery.” I even got Certified with a National Program called CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) which you may or may not be aware of but every County’s EMS and local EOC SHOUkD be & shouldn’t be letting their Schild, colleges & community know about it and regularly offering the free courses ! If you ever find an EOc Director, LEO, Fire Marshall who DOESNT know about it or doesn’t think it’s needed, then he need some to resign or she and someone else assume that position ! It’s a Federal Volunteer Program in which the Volunteers get trained, tested & vetted via. Federal background check with an ID given along with a Dosater kit, hard hat, vest with reflective stripes for working near traffic or at night etc. Anginen can train and long as they’ve been Certified (easy weekend training is all it requires with just a couple of hours each day in class) The Test requires recalling and physical walking around a building for downed live wires, knowing how to tell where and how to shut off water, when, the power box, marking outside of front door for 1st Responders coming behind you you make it there before them (as is evident by just liking online videos & seeing Noone in Theben ground near dozens of homes completely demolished & only one or 2 emergency vehicles, fire truck, ambulance etc . With a few people on the ground in that area (also evident in yesterday’s tornados of online footage) of your doing “Search & Recovery” immediately following a storm so it there’s a dead body of an animal or person ( Hopefully not ! 😔) etc. downed live wires etc. you mark the front door with a wide permanent Marker with specific symbols that EMS are also trained to know before entering .
I led a Team in Smith’s Stationb, Alabama (South Of Atlanta near Opelika a few years ago) after 2 F4s merged then killed 11 people as it made its path in that neighborhood on that road down the incline of the hill bouncing across the street to one house, missing the next, then leveling the next leaving only an empty ungrounded pool ! Where they leveled a mobile home as it was an unrestricted neighborhood in a rural area. It was horrific for us so can’t imagine what it was like for the victims & who lost loved ones. I’ve also flown over Hurricane Andrew in Miami in 92 and responded to another’s F5 in Hurricane Michael in the Panhandle Of Florida that was downplayed on media & later upgraded to a Cat 5 among other disasters throughout the SouthEast.
My heart goes out to all affected from this outbreak that occurred yesterday as from what I witnessed online from the few non news (don’t support news since they censor it including twitter AND UA-cam of individual uploads (try searching for the hundreds of uploads from peoples phones who took video and uploaded...all you’ll see - 🤔mostly if you CAN find individual social accounts of disasters 🤨)
When we had to do a weekly upload of natural disasters in one of my courses we couldn’t find one video on yt of the 400,000 displaced from a massive landslide in Madagascar, Africa!!! Just the Disney movie! That was back in 2019 too!!! I see it’s gotten even worse to find ! There should actually be MORE vids, pics to see as it’s progressively gotten worse !
Anyway on the positive note, you have a new sub & tell your Viewers that now with YT for some reason...unless you click “ALL” on the notification bell...you won’t get ANY! AND you have to go L👀K & ensure you’re still SUBBED cause they’ll keep unsubbing you when you’re not aware ! Not cool but that’s what theyre doing ! 🙆‍♀️
Also, start doing what Ryan Hall Y’all is doing and put up a Venmo link, Paypal, cash up Link on your YT Studio Account so itlll Ben located under the description of each video under “More” so people can DONATE anytime if not a member k? 🤑
You can also (if not already) become a nonprofit for about $100 and if you wanna use my template you don’t need an Attorney! They do have default generic forms on your State’s “Division of Corporations” website where it’s usually filed though but to ensure the Govt doesn’t try keep it if someone passes or the “Registered Agent” (Owner) you have a family member on your “Board of Director’s” is crucial & tweak your own “Articles of Incorporation” you can do it later but they’ll charge a revision fee but it’s only like $25.
I hope that helps & feel free to contact me for anything & idk if you have a team to do “Response & Recovery” cause as the money comes in you’ll want to prove to your viewers as well as the State the moneys going toward your victims to help them .
What I didn’t like about Ryan was after one time of donations coming in while live & receiving over $100,000 before he filed for his 501-C-3 (nonprofit) he had as his title on his YT vid something like (“we made $100,000 to donate to victims “ & did a video showing what they bought & did ) but went back and edited title to say “I gave $100,000 to victims” 😲when HE didn’t! 🤬 WE did! It was OUR hard earned money donated so didn’t like or appreciate THAT! Especially after googling how much he makes and his net worth!!! Of course with non profits you can keep up to 20% for your overhead so that covers your salary, gas, food, expenses from office supplies, and anyone’s in salary you hire or hourly for that matter BUT when it’s people DONATING that money it’s not cool for EGO to get in the way and forget who supports you OR pat yourself on the back as if it came out of his own pocket! NOT Cool!
TY again for your work and sharing ❣️Please be safe 🙏🏻🌎💞

Freddy, one of the most notable observations I made while you chased this tornado was how safe you drove. With anxiety and adrenaline, some drivers or chasers will do things that are dangerous. I appreciate how cautious you are. Good work! Awesome intercept! Seeing the damage as you drove behind it made my heart hurt for everyone that suffered damage. It really brings a picture of how brutal a tornado can be. Beautiful, but so scary at the same time.

"The wages of sin is death.." Do you have the free gift of God? Which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord? Sin destroys, it corrupts, it is pleasurable for a season, but leads to death. The Bible says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We cannot earn heaven. "There is none righteous no not one." Have you ever lied? Stolen? Used God's name in vain? Dishonored your parents? Lusted? Put other things over God? These are some of God's ten commandments. We are guilty of breaking God's laws. The place we would go is to hell. But praise God! He has made a way for us! God sent us His Son Jesus, fully God and fully man, to die on the cross for our sins, and He rose again three days later! We broke God's law, but Jesus paid our fine! That's why He said, "It is finished." Right before He died! Our debt has been paid! Now we must turn to Him in repentance and trust in Jesus! Turn from your own way that leads to destruction, and follow the Saviour! He loves you more than anyone ever could. He will never leave you.

@sarahm4681 come on, take that somewhere else. Mother Nature is mother nature, it's not a punishment, it's part of life. Why is it the hyper religious pick amd choose when to be dramatic? When a child dies, it's God's plan, when a tornado happens, it's God's wrath. Why aren't both of them or does wrath for a child leave a bad taste in your mouth?

2:03:52 I seen the birth of this one drop down at 243rd st in Waterloo. It started out looking like a bunch of walking twigs. It quickly widened, mostly transparent but had a lot of square shaped, chunky debris in it. It was coated with rain on the west side for about six minutes and then when it came out of the cloak of rain it was mean. It became a dark wide wedge that headed over to Elkhorn. I was 1 mile away from it in my old car before it fattened up. I couldn't believe how fast it moved. I was too afraid to watch radar, Navigate, _and_ film the growing tornado. So I hung way back when I seen its rapid growth. That was the first time I've ever seen a live tornado in front of me, I've only seen live feeds from storm chasers and other videos.

I never expected Friday to manifest that way, I knew there would be tornadoes, not like this. I chased Thursday, Friday and Saturday of that outbreak sequence. I saw a tornado everyday. Friday, I am fairly sure I saw at least 5 tornadoes, Lincoln, what I believe was another tornado just after Lincoln, Elkhorn, the cone tornado just before Minden Iowa, and of coarse the Minden Iowa tornado. I am still processing everything.

I used to drive thru this part of NE when I lived in CO and would drive home to NW Iowa, and I always noticed there always seemed to be so much tornado damage to trees in the area. And, my cousin lives in Omaha, so I also noticed how often they h ad tornado scares.

I was in the basement of my dorm building in Lincoln yesterday. I started watching this stream bc I knew there would be a live stream. Some friends were around me and we were all watching and all I could think was. “This is happening right outside in Lincoln right now.” So unbelievable, and it gives apocalyptic vibes. 1:16:00 in the vid.

Which dorm? Abel? Harper-Schramm-Smith? Those tunnels between dorms would be impregnable during a tornado. Probably one of the safest places in the state to be during a storm, other than the underground bunkers at Offutt Air Force Base. Lincoln native and UNL grad now exile to Texas.

Question. I am from California, and when I was in my twenties I drove cross country. I was by myself in Kansas out on the plains, and saw a weird looking cloud that went all the way to the ground off in the distance. In my mind, tornadoes had a funnel shape, but this one was like a wide column, so I didn't worry too much. I also thought, "You're just paranoid because you're in Kansas and the Wizard of Oz tornado was in Kansas." But then it started raining hard, so I turned the radio on and got the emergency alert and they said, "This is a monster. Get in your basements and take shelter." They also said do get out of the car if you are driving and get in a ditch, and I thought, "No way am I getting out of my car! My car is my only protection" I decided to get up under the next overpass, but no overpass came because I was out in the middle of nowhere with miles between exits. Then it started hailing like crazy. There was only a truck way ahead of me on the freeway, I started crying. I had no idea what to do. Then suddenly there was just brown all around me and I couldn't see anything. I was scared I would drive into the truck ahead if it stopped, because I couldn't see a thing. And my car was shaking. Then suddenly, it was over, and my car was facing the wrong direction on the road, like almost in the median. I straightened out and was able to drive, but my car was overheating for some reason. I have never been so scared. I was shaking like crazy. Of course there was an exit (after miles of nothing) like 1/4 mile up. I got off, shaking and crying, and pulled into a gas station. There were a whole bunch of people sheltering in the gas station, and they told me, "Don't go east, there's a tornado." I said I knew because I was coming from east.
Now I always watch these tornado chasing video, because I still don't really know what I experienced. Was I on the edge of the tornado? In the tornado? Do tornados always put that much dirt into the air to cause nearly zero visibility? And is it common for a tornado not to have a funnel shape? In this video it's a clear funnel shape, a classic twister. What I experienced did not look like that. Experts...?
Edit: I do see at 2:47:00 that tornado looks more like what I experienced.

So, I've chased for more than 10 years professionally, and my greatest 2 chases were the F-5s of moore Ok in 13 and Joplin MO in 2011.... you sir, are NUTS 😆 🤣 😂 I mean, great videos (when you have good upload service) But without a Navi, or a sat uplink to your dopplar / Nexrad, you are risking everything. So, 1) my hat is off to you for taking the risk to help people see just how powerful these get, and 2 helping give advance warning. You staying connected to people that know you, and letting them know where you are is essential. And for that, I applaud you. Great work... high risk for incredible reward.

I really don't think anyone dominates a tornado..and its important to note that a very large tornado can be an F1 & a thin tornado can be an F5. You cant go by looks. All the tormados were F3. The imagery you captured was awesome, no doubt about it, and youre a very safe driver for these circumstances, so props. Ive studied these since I was a kid, I was obsessed with them & learned a lot. I recognize your excitement & enthusiasm but just a note: maybe explain the jargon you use and what it means and how its applied so newbiez can follow you better. The Shelby tornado footage was amazing but remember, youngsters are going to want to copy you so just calling them violent all the time and how dangerous each one is wont cut it. Theyll think, "but youre doing it." They dont realize you have to read radar, be prepared if it shifts in your direction, which if its an F4 or 5 it would be on you in a minute, how to react if the tornado decides not to follow the direction of the storm, however rare that is, and practicing all safety precaustions. I think this would help a lot but all and all youve got some natural talent to navigate through these and itll be interestinv to see how far youve come on 10 years. Keep up the good work & please be safe because F5s can be predicted but not always and you can still be surprised so try to be prepared for it.
