Good one,The vault sounded surprisingly good at that price, Would be great with a little less distortion.
Go for a cheap nice guitar and buy a super amp and then slowly upgrade your guitar
A good tip for beginners from my experience

Vault for distortion 🤘,and if someone wants clean tone then go for Stratocaster

Buy vault then install emg pickup.
I have cortx1 which I have bought in 2013. Recently I changed the pickup and installed emg66 pickup. Now it sounds great. Moreover I think if you have good amplifier you can makeup your tone with some changes in Eq settings.
Have you changed only the neck pickup?
How ia it performing with the powersound bridge?
I also have Cort X-1 and I want to know possible upgrades...

As a guitarist its clearly seen that the vault pick up sound quality is better than epiphone,but i dont know about the handling and a built quality but vault is better interms of pickup sound

How is the string action out of the box ? Does it require some effort to adjust it to lower it ?
My guitar action was good..didn't do any effort..but this is subjective..not all pieces have same action

Well Since I have played V’s from the last 4-5 years ! They both are good and you might feel the neck thicker on the V and it’s hard to get to used to ..else depends on your personal preferences ! Cheers

Late comment but are the sizes of the body different?
Sizes are identical..may be little difference in dimensions..but thickness wise epiphone lt studio is slimmer than vault lp1mn..also weight wise epiphone lp studio is lighter than vault lp

great video. i don't have any plans on buying an electric currently still its good to watch these comparison videos. its sad to see that they stopped making trapezoid inlays. i also think vault would be a good investment.
