Ok stupid question which one for this series would you recommend the manga or light novel
If you have a broad imagination read the novel. The manga takes an extremely long time before they release a new chapter. Last I checked it's current chapter is 19. So yeah, if your the type of person who doesn't like being kept unsatisfied read the novel.

1. Well, Koenji was portrayed as a narcissist but it isn't actually baseless. He is actually very capable. In fact he's probably the only one who could possibly go toe to toe with the MC.
2. Kei - Currently, she could possibly the main interest of the MC. Although many argues that the MC doesn't have any interest to romance, once he does Kei is the No.1 Candidate. The MC even said so himself in Volume 7.5 that Kei might have grown to him in a form of friendship since she is the person that he currently trust the most, and he said after that his affections might even go beyond friendship in the future.

@@minikei4383 I've no objection on Kei being the main heroine but the reason behind it really is absurd. I mean he sometimes get those flag moments with the other girls too. For example, Ichinose in the pool when they're splashing waters and he's conscious that they look like a couple but still continue to play with her. To Horikita, that he finds very attractive unless she she shuts her mouth. Even to Kushida (I swear to God, most of the fans are disregarding that he has a big crush on Kushida. Wether be it he finds her attractive or popularity, either way). I can attest that, as far as I remember there was a time when he said *I’m still unable to get rid of the feeling of nervousness. It’s probably as simple as I treat her as someone of the opposite **sex.As** for whether I like her romantically, I’m unable to deny that this situation isn’t one step away from that feeling.If I were to be confessed by her, I would certainly accept her confession -even though it’s not very likely to happen.* I even research that just for this. She’s not. It’s basically a way of saying that she wants to save him, by defeating him, thus, proving his dad’s idea of a trained genius to be false. Also, she’s one of my favourite characters after Volume 11, because she shows to what extent she understands him and cares for him as a person. She tells him about the value of another human’s warmth through her own hands, and shows how much she longs to keep in contact with him, despite the rivalry between their classes and his wish to stay out of sight.

I think that she or he is just trying to say is that Arisu wants to defeat Ayanokouji to prove his father wrong by showing the difference born genius and made genius , even though the method is not really what a “ good girl “ would choose , but in case you haven’t notice yet ,the school is full of student’s plots that it is actually not that big of a deal. Plus I don’t think that Ayanokouji minded it too much
