Mad respect for her translator for this detailed japanese version that make it sounds like it was originally written in japanese, instead of just a translation
@Acsissy1234 really, if i remember correctly there's a list of credits at the end of her videos. It's more of a collab project, I suppose. Also the translation part is definitely not her work, since she couldn't speak japanese
I really like this reaction. It's both genuine and educational. This is the first time I've seen a reaction that perfectly breaks down the way the song works in Japanese vs. the original English.
What you pointed out is I think also a contributing factor to why her cover is so popular (aside from the fact that she just EXUDES immense talent in her video). It's clearly in a different language than the original song but the Japanese lyrics were translated in such a way that it keeps the feeling that is natural to the original English lyric. So it's really fun to try to sing along to. Mad props to her translator!
Me as indonesian think the japanese language is much more easy to pronounce than english. But of course english is much more easy to learn because we (indonesian) use the same alphabet. Kanji is too hard for me.
@@heian17 Well indonesian have loan words from hokkian, which is different from mandarin. So if we compare indonesian and japanese words we have a little to no similiarities but we have some words that sound the same with different meaning, for example "kamu" means "you" in indonesian but it is "bite/chew" in japanese.
The insight that I got from this video about Japanese linguistic, lyrics translation, pronunciation, the different use of vowel in casual speaking & in singing, etc is just soo much and so useful. Thank you for the amazing breakdown.
I truly appreciate your reaction and comments. What makes your content better than most of other reaction videos is that yours is not merely a reaction but you also put insightful & honest comments. I found it very satisfying watching it. Again, thank you very much.
@@-vocalcoach-chihiro7039 ngl. this sentence kinda feels wierd in english assuming its japanese translated to english. wouldve been better if it was: "I appreciate your feedback!" itd feel better but well what does a 9 year old Undertale Fan kid knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is wonderful! It's still hard for me to believe she's not only Indonesian, but literally DOESN'T SPEAK JAPANESE! I mean, seriously? Incredible. I'm just a generic American dude so this probably doesn't mean much coming from me, but if you'd told me she was a native Japanese speaker I'd 100% have believed it. Also, thank you for so much insight! It's fascinating! And the subtitles are very much appreciated too! :) Subscribed!
I love her version more to be honest, her voice is so comforting and so calm and cute, I can close my eyes and listen to it for a long time , it's gorgeous !
I feel like taking music class, and i didn't regret it And this is the first time i heard someone said "Your breath is beautiful". Thank you for another insight into the world of beauty ✨
This is the first time i watched a Rainych video reaction and got many insightful views and knowledge about the song. It's like he dissected the song and explain it to us in a detailed manner. You got yourself a new subscriber!
Thank you so much for this video reaction. It's not only a reaction. But you give comments here and there and explained about this and that. Thank you so much.
I think Japanese is quite difficult, but I appreciate it for people who are not native Japanese to sing that country's anthem, the version is good enough for me
Even Dojo Cat herself had to bow down to this version--amazing.
Coz she's a huge weeb herself😌
Yeah, like she literally bowed in her reaction video I think! Fantastic work
thats true, doja cat even saved the song
Mad respect for her translator for this detailed japanese version that make it sounds like it was originally written in japanese, instead of just a translation
😭🤯Apparently someone said she did everything herself,editing,doubling,etc..
@Acsissy1234 really, if i remember correctly there's a list of credits at the end of her videos. It's more of a collab project, I suppose. Also the translation part is definitely not her work, since she couldn't speak japanese
I like the way Mr. Chihiro enjoy the music, stop it, and explaining it 0w0
Thank you so much.
I glad your message.
I really like this reaction. It's both genuine and educational. This is the first time I've seen a reaction that perfectly breaks down the way the song works in Japanese vs. the original English.
correction: It’s actually Datenkou who translated the lyrics. Rainych Ran simply sang the lyrics instead

@SOO DAM then it's call romaji.
I guess it's because japanese romaji and indonesian pronounciation sounds the same, but english and indonesian pronounciation is very different.
I am Vietnamese, i find Japanese not too hard because Vietnamese and Japanese have some same loanwords which came from Chinese

@@Arashiiie I think the word kamu in Indonesian came from Malay language. That is why it doesn't have the same meaning as 噛む kamu in Japanese.
まじ優しい語りかけるような歌声。透き通ってる、聴いてて居心地よいです。ストレスもなくなりそうです。今回もありがとうございます。
From a japanese professional i found this a very best reaction i have seen so far. Keep up the good work sir. Much appreciated.

nah. it came across a bit like japanese racisn , as in , looking down on someone singing in Japanese because they are not native of japan...
Maybe this is the best reaction this video could get. He clearly talks about the entire video in the Japanese musician perspective!
Like this video!
Thank you so much for your message again.
Yeah, because the rest of the reactors fell for her the moment she started singing. 😂😆

I like that you point out the syllabic rhymes from the English version to the Japanese adaptation.
This man is one the best reviewer, detail and enjoyable

Rainychさんは、久しぶりに出会ったディーバ。パンチ力あり、可愛いさあり、もうメロメロです。ファルセットを上手く使い分ける余力の幅…凄い逸材がインドネシアにいたもんだ。
Thank you from Indonesia ❤❤

Thank you a lot for the very informative breakdown! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ありがとうございます😂🔥🙏👍👍
I agree, it’s a fantastic translation. アメリカでも好きです!
70年代流行ったChicの影響を受けて昇華したアレンジに思えます。だから日本人に心地良いのかも?
Chicの『Good times』ベースですよね。後、Calvin Harrisの『Feels』もこれ系統な感じがしますね。
素晴らしい
This song is very good! : D

こちらこそ見てくれてありがとうございます。インドネシアのシンガーさんは皆レベルが高くて勉強になります。
Arigato vocal-coach! 😂❤️
Thankyou for reacting the video of my sister... have a nice day
Thanks for subtitle
Awesome!
解説面白いですねー
めちゃいいです
thank you for reacting to our Rainych

Its step by step mr.Chihiro explaining.. And i like it.. So many greetings from indonesia.

Amazing Video

I feel i can more enjoy the song because of this video, thank you.
Terima kasih buat yang sudah kasih subtitle 🙏
PLASTIC LOVE、それからSTAY WITH MEもお願いします。

Reactionya realistis . A like it
Wow...awesome...😘
原曲はセクシーな感じだけど、レイニッチが歌うと清楚な感じな感じですね「SAY SO」だけに、、

Gak tau kenapa . bawaanya bangga aja kalo singer dari indonesia di riview sama youtuber luar 😍
asal jangan terlalu overpround aja kak, jadi jelek kesannya,
seneng yang sewajarnya
Kalo kaya gini termasuk gak
termasuk normal, gak lebay :3
Alhamdulillah kalo masih di kata normal mah .. Wkwkkwkw
Kalo bisa simpan dalam hti aja
日本語を勉強しているから日本語の歌詞で歌をよく聞きます。これがすごく便利です! 自然に発音を習うなきゃ! ありがとうございます! 下手な日本語ですみません
nice reaction..!
