  • Whistler Bike Park has one of the widest range of trail difficulties in the world, with the Green Trails being the easiest of them all. With trails like 'Easy Does It', Whistler is also a beginner mountain biker's paradise. But what are all the green rated trails? I though I would take some laps and check out just what is on offer.
Trailforks info on the trails here:

Mister, have been watching your videos for a while now. Where i was to busy working, and did not have the time, now, at closing in on 56, i see that i am beginning to have what i did not have time for, some fun.. Looking to get a DiamondBack, and start riding. Have watched other videos on this park, and wondered where does a biginner start. Your taking the time to set up this video answers that question. also, fills a void that your never to old just to get out and start having fun. By your doing this, thinking of setting up a channel for people who like me are just starting out. Where to go, what to wear, a good starter bike. etc. In the end, thank you for doing this video. It means more to some of us that back silently and watch that you may never see, or know about. I would add this last thing. Never go through your day, and think your not appreciated, because you are. Thank You Kindly, SCOTTISHXPRIDE, TEXAS.

Although at the time of this writing, would really love to find something in a 29" in full suspension. Looks like though, i'll need to wait to order it, as they do not have the extra large in stock. Good video dude. I’m on my 5th season in the bike park as well but I can still remember the stress of loading my bike on the lift on day 1 haha.

Your right no one has covered the trails for the beginner. Almost all the videos of Whistler is double black trails or blue trails .those are very intimidating for the beginner. Those are the riders you want to help welcome and make feel comfortable about riding whistler.

We had been in the park for 3 days straight our first trip and decided to see where Easy Does it went. It takes 20 minutes or so it seems but I was getting REALLY excited because I realized I could actually let my wife and kids ride Whistler if I ever saved enough money to take them. It's way below my skill level, but would be perfect for them. Pretty cool that it's there.

Ill ride pretty much any level of track , save for downhill World Cup stuff, I watched this video for inspiration on trail features and to see the trails that so many people glance over.

Great video. Del Bocca and Shady Acres look to be like a Blue Trail in the UK. Safe enough for beginners but fun enough for more experienced riders to warm up on or just enjoy.

Still terrified. I went biking once with my friend and ended up pressing the wrong break and going over the handle bars at quite high speed. Had to spend three days in a hospital and in a neck brace for six weeks. So yeah I don’t think it’s a sport for me, but enjoyed the video. Will be heading to whistler for skiing sometime so still nice to see what that might look like.

I'm just looking at getting into biking now. What would be an average price range for a half decent bike?
I have a goal in mind to eventually try for MEGA but obviously I would need much more knowledge and experience.
