Thanks for the review. I have one of these, pretty much in the condition it was when bought (new). Have used night mode, and for taping gym comps. When I bought this model the HD Sony's in NZ (where I am) were way more expensive. Wish it had direct mic input.

The best standard definition camcorders made by Sony are the dcr-sr200 or sr300. The SR300 was made when Sony started selling HD/SD camcorders like the SR7, SR10/11/12 Not quite sure why they made high end standard definition camcorders along side HD ones that could record in standard as well.

how to fix the ac adaptor cover? today it stopped closing properly. probably some spring got broken inside. please suggest how to fix it.

Hy I have a dcr sr210 but the problem is that the video is 'striped' when played on the computer.. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks

check my channel, there is a video where i used this camera, it's called T-brothers mtb movie. if you watch it you can see that there are horizontal lines in the video... thanks for the quick reply, btw

Hi I solved the striped thing problem. I used Sony Vegas Pro instead of Windows Movie Maker. Now the movie is like normal. It is still not HD quality but it is very good for such an old camera. You can check my last video post if you want ;)
