Man, I used to spam your channel with LOVEBITES pleads then gave up, great to see you finally did them! One of the select FEW that shouldn't take $30 to listen to their elite musicianship. This is a band you want to listen to period if you're into metal. I listen to them daily, have nearly their entire catalog. Their thrash metal songs are as good as the Big 4 / Testament if not better, their power metal is Maiden / Helloween caliber and then there's their MASTERPIECES that are unmatched. A rabbit-hole certainly worth the journey. 🤘

Finally 😊. Great reaction. Tons of other masterpieces from Lovebites. Bass player, Fami is new in the band, she is incredible and has his own huge YT channel.
Welcome to the ladies of Lovebites.. Great reaction, You have over 60 tracks to go.. Enjoy the ride.. So you like the bass in this? This is Fami their latest edition.. She is 20 in this video. If you think you have seen everything bass, check out Fami on her own chanel doing a cover to the song called Alien alien.. She is 17 in the video, be prepared to be blown away.... If you dare... 4 elie musicians and a dynamic siner. The 2 guitarusts, Midori and Miyako, are truly elie. Best duo today. Best metal band in the world today IMO. Trust me you ain't seen nothing yet. Much more to see from them.
Welcome bro, this band is the best today, great reaction, sharp earing, they all crazy talented musicians, vocal also, your comment very sharp, waiting, I suggest you Stand and Deliver, all crazyness, Thank you reacting Lovebites, 👍👍👍👌
Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 The band is around since 2016 and released their first EP and album in 2017. At this point they have 4 albums, some singles and EPs and also 4 official live DVD/Blu-ray releases. They’ve already toured in Europe back in 2018/2019, including the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. Then came Covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After that LOVEBITES came back with new bassist and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. New album with the same name came out in February 2023. LOVEBITES just finished touring in Japan. Earlier this year in march they played their comeback show. This was their first live gig since 2021 and first show with their new bassist Fami. There are 4 videos on their YT channel from this show including the one you’ve seen. I suggest „The hammer of wrath“ the first song of this concert for a next reaction. We the Wolfpack, name of LOVEBITES fans worldwide, are all hoping for a world tour next year … The band: Asami vocals, most of the lyrics, song writing - the one and only voice Miyako guitar, pianos, keyboards, main composer - the golden touch Midori guitar, songwriting for a few songs - crazy shredder Haruna drums, wrote one of their songs - little big engine Fami bass - shining fingers (Miho bass, song writing and founder - natural born headbanger)
The jaw dropping moment of disbelief at what you see and hear is a tell-tale sign of a first time reaction, and second, third.....lol. Not 1 bad song in their catalogue so buckle up for the ride of your life. Asami The One and Only Voice (stage general) Fami Shining Fingers (Ace on the Bass) joined in 2022 Haruna Little Big Engine (Thunder Goddess) (co founder) Midori The Crazy Shredder (Amazon Warrior) Miyako The Golden Touch (Magic maker) Miho Natural Born Headbanger (original bassist and co founder) Lovebites A level above another level 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
A fabulous band who know their craft, enjoy what they do and present it with much enthusiasm! The fact which tickles me most is drummer Haruna's nickname "little big engine".. I love that. You have quite the enjoyable rabbit hole to look forward to! You've just landed with the new bass player Fami, who took over from Miho after she decided to move on to pastures new.. this is pretty much her first official live performance with the band. As with quite a few metal acts coming from Japan over almost the last decade or so they're also pretty much setting the standard.
You've only just touched the tip of the iceberg of female Japanese rock and metal and Lovebites is among the elite. You want some classical influences, try "Swan Song" live with the Chopin intro. You'll be more blown away than you are now. "Frozen Serenade" live works too.
LOVEBITES are arguably the most musically talented metal band on the planet. (Note the grand piano on stage.) They are elite musicans, demonstrating complete mastery over their instruments. Classic metal hasn't died, it just moved to Japan.
@@1970Phoenix Im 'lol no-ing' to your original statement. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of metal bands with more talent and musical / classical training out there. Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nightwish, Rhapsody, just to name a few. Don't get me wrong, i like lovebites, they can shred, they can play fast, but they are FAR from 'arguably the most musically talented metal band on the planet'.
@@AnatomiaUSAL THOUSANDS of metal bands with more talent than LOVEBITES? Really? In terms of pure musicianship, I agree that both Dream Theatre and Symphony-X members are at least on par with LOVEBITES. Unfortunatly neither band has two lead guitarists, so they simply couldn't reproduce most (or any?) LOVEBITES songs live. However, LOVEBITES could reproduce all Dream Theatre and all Symphony-X songs live. Personaly I'd put Rhapsody of Fire just below Dream Theatre and Symphony-X in terms of pure musical skill, but again they don't have two lead guitars. Nightwish are difficult to assess, as they have Troy Donockley playing a collection of unusual folk instruments. But I will say that I don't think Emppu has the technical ability of either Midori or Miyako. Now to keyboards. Miyako is a concert level pianist, which is not exactly common in a metal band, and at least one LOVEBITES song ("Swan Song") requires a pianist who can play Chopin. Jordan Rudess from Dream Theatre could likely match Miyako's skills on the piano, and probably so could Michael Pinnella from Symphony-X, although I'm less certain about him that Jordan. Alex Staropoli from Rapsody of Fire could not play Chopin if his life depended on it, and I've never seen any evidence that Tuomas Holopainen has the skills to play classical piano pieces, even though I concede he is a musical genius. So, in summary, if I ignore any Nightwish song that requires the playing of an obscure folk instrument, then LOVEBITES could play live EVERY song by Dream Theatre, Symphony-X, Rhapsody of Fire and Nightwish. NONE of these bands could play all (or possibly any) LOVEBITES songs live without hiring additional musicians. So, I've briefly made an ARGUMENT that LOVEBITES may be the most musically talented metal band on the planet. This demonstrates that my initial post is correct - LOVEBITES are indeed ARGUABLY the most musically talented metal band on the planet. Of course, you could ARGUE otherwise, but that doesn't change the fact that my original claim is demonstrably correct. I'd be interested if you could demonstrate your assertion that there are "hundreds, if not thousands, of metal bands with more talent and musical / classical training (than LOVEBITES)".
Took you long enough to get to Lovebites!! This song is simply relentless. The musicianship is elite all the way around with this band. It's a rabbit hole worth traveling down. In my opinion, best dual lead guitarists in a band I've ever seen/heard. You nailed where their influences come from, the late 70's to early 90's metal. One of the main composers, Miyako (black hair on right), is a classically trained virtuoso pianist. Check out "Swan Song w/Chopin intro" live to watch/hear what Miyako brings to the table.
Welcome to the world of Lovebites music! White dresses and heels - this is about Lovebites. Long beautiful solos, duoling solos - this is also about Lovebites. Beauty and professionalism! This band is awesome. Try their live video "Set the world on fire" or "Holy war" from their official UA-cam channel! You will be impressed. Thank you for the reaction! More Lovebites on the channel! And welcome to the WolfPack!
General suggestions for LOVEBITES... - Holy War - Edge Of The World - A Frozen Serenade - Swan Song (with Chopin intro) - When Destinies Align - Set The World On Fire - Break The Wall - Shadowmaker - Raise Some Hell - Epilogue (another "E" song, next to "Edge Of The World" and "Empty Daydream") - Glory To The World - Rising - Winds Of Transylvania (VLADLOVE version) - Thunder Vengeance - Don't Bite The Dust - Dancing With The Devil - The Awakening / The Hammer Of Wrath - Nameless Warrior [OMV] - Liar - We The United Live album 2CD/DVD/Blu-ray from August 23rd, 2023, of March 11th live concert - The Hammer Of Wrath (live 2023) (first promotional video) - Nameless Warrior (live 2023) (second snippet) * Judgement Day (live 2023) (third snippet) - Liar (live 2023) (forth snippet) New stuff (LOVEBITES 2.0, with new bassist Fami) - Judgement Day [OMV] - Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down) [OMV] Other new stuff from new album (audio and release party only) - Soldier Stands Solitarily - We Are The Resurrection - Lost In The Garden - Dissonance - My Orion - The Spirit Goes On - Wicked Witch - Victim Of Time
More unusual (but still very good) stuff - The Apocalypse - Under The Red Sky - Above The Black Sea - Empty Daydream - Scream For Me - Signs Of Deliverance - Addicted - Inspire - Spellbound - Dystopia Symphony - Bravehearted - Burden Of Time (must see with a special gimmick by Miyako!) - The Crusade - Today Is The Day - Journey To The Otherside - No Time To Hesitate - Pledge Of The Saviour - M.D.O. - Mastermind 01 - Paranoia - The Unbroken - Warning Shot - Golden Destination Audio only - Puppet On Strings - The Final Collision Covers - Eagle Fly Free (Helloween) - Painkiller (Judas Priest) - Love Bites (So Do I) (Halestorm) Miyako piano covers (Etude Op.23) - Eagle Fly Free (Helloween) - Burn (Deep Purple) - Battery (Metallica) - The Loner (Gary Moore) - Far Beyond The Sun (Yngwie Malmsteen) - Addicted (LOVEBITES)
And would you be more or less impressed if I was to tell you BOTH lead guitarists ( Midori & Miyako ) didn't start playing guitar until they were in their VERY late teens and Miyako - the dark haired one is self taught ! . Miyako is also a concert level trained classical pianist , song writer and just basically an all round musical genius . The bassist ( Fami ) has only recently joined the band and this was her first live concert with them . Haruna ( drummer ) is a 4'10" bundle of energyn who never misses a beat and when you're playing at 140bpm that's no mean feat . The vocalist ( Asami ) comes from an R&B and dance background - Enjoy your Lovebites journey !
Haruna, one of the BEST Metal Drummers of all time. My opinion is that Haruna's style of playing on their earlier songs seems to me like a combination of mostly Haruna's style of playing with some of Dave Lombardo's style as well as a bit of Paul Bostaph's style added into her own unique style. And on their new album Haruna's style of playing leaves Paul Bostaph out of the mix (no disrespect intended for Paul Bostaph) and instead sounds like Dave Lombardo's style and Tim 'The Missile' Yeung's style added into Haruna's own unique style of playing. One reason why Haruna is sometimes referred to as 'the Pocket Nuke'. I mentioned only Haruna here simply because FAR too often Metal Drummers get overlooked/underrated, and it's been like that since I first heard Metal back when I was in Junior High in the mid-80's. Just my own personal opinion anyway.
@@reddnizz2231 I remember Helloween from back when I first heard them in the late 80's. Most of the Yutes nowadays who call themselves 'Metalheads' have never listened to them or even heard of them, but We-Us Metal-ers remember them.
I have been watching you guys for years. I'm so glad you finally took the time to listen to Lovebites. They are an amazing band with a ton of different great songs to check out.

Welcome to the best! I've had two "all-time favorite bands" for almost forty years; Led Zeppelin and Van Halen. This year I added a third; LOVEBITES!!!
Like the British did in the 60's, Japanese female rock and metal bands are bringing the genres back in the 2020's. (They have a lot of talented female bands.)
Welcome to the world of Lovebites. Virtuoso musicians who write kickass tunes and play them this well every single time. Beautiful women with beautiful personalities who are very appreciative of their fans and humble with it. You will get a ton of suggestions for the next song to react to, and my personal recommendation, to give you the opportunity to see the band as it is right now would be the three other songs released from this live set on their official UA-cam channel. The Hammer of Wrath, Nameless Warrior and Liar, which will give you but a fraction of the range of genres this phenomenal band has in its repertoire. Very nice and very appreciative reaction which I in turn appreciate very much because anyone who helps promote LOVEBITES has my respect.
Great reaction video absolutely comprehensible to impressive classic heavy metal music. A dream for the fans and a nice surprise for both of you music freaks. Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in 2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany 2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England 2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium 2019 - Download Festival in Spain. In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Welcome to the Wolfpack you have been Lovebitten ]:) they have a very deep list of songs all of them awesome this also is the best guitar duo I have heard in any metal band in years reminiscent of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest days.
I went to their live show for the first time in September this year. It was truly amazing. While there are many wonders to see in the world, I believe their live performance is definitely one of them. If you ever have the chance, please go see their live show. ✨🤘
Fami (bassist ) joined the band 6 months prior to this concert. She is 20 years old, and they picked her after a worldwide audition. Fami has her own bass cover channel and actually has more subscribers than the band (LOL). Some of her videos have multiple million views. She started her channel with her face covered (she was in high school). I think she started her bass at around ~12 or 13 years old - yes, she is bass genius. Funny factoid. Her stage name Fami comes from "FamilyMart" which is a huge convenient store chain in Japan, similar to Seven-Eleven. She loves FamilyMart. Yes, she is a funny girl. edit: age when Fami started her bass learning.
Female Japanese metal is a deep, deep rabbit hole, and well worth diving into, innit? For the last three or four years now, my favorite band in the world is from this scene (Nemophila), and these bands make up a big, big portion of my listening.
The other releases from this show give you an example of the diversity of their music. Hammer of Wrath Nameless Warrior Liar The 2021 Concert was good except the crowd was a bit subdued from COVID Restrictions, but the 2020 concert, Five of a Kind, is 17 songs that are non-stop fast. Welcome to the 8th Wonder of the World, LOVEBITES!!!!
Something that'll give you pause, that bassist is Fami, she's new to the band and that was her first performance with them. It was their first show is 2 years. Fami was only 20 or 21 there!
@@dmusiclife5727 If you're looking for something a little more thrashy, recommend Hammer of Wrath live (also from this show) or go deeper into their catalog and do Set The World On Fire live from '21. They don't set it on fire, they F napalm it. I reference thrash because I thought of your Fade To Black reaction moons ago. Both songs give me Testament vibes, and STWOF has Dragonforce like solos. What's great about the Hammer...opening song of the show, after a 2yr hiatus and first song for new bassist Fami who's never played in front of a live audience. Just 21yrs old and she F kills it, and the bass is featured in Hammer. Hoping you'll do more...they don't disappoint, as you can see from the # of views your reaction got. 🤘
Good at their craft.....lmao. These insanely talented women are totally dedicated to the relentless pursuit of Perfection. The band can't be pigeonholed and plays a wide variety of music from power to classical piano and blends all the great metal influences in their music. BTW LIVE is the best way to experience this band, try anything as they have no bad or filler songs.
Fami (they're new bassist) undoubtedly the best in the world (and still in her early 20s) joined the best band on the planet! Keep listening to Lovebites you will never be disappointed. I guarantee that!.
I love what Fami is doing on the Bass when the girls are soloing . The drumming is spectacular throughout the whole song. What a Band, World class without a doubt
Yes, these women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Their live performances are outstanding. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. My next recommendations are “Hammer of wrath” (from the same concert), “Set the world on fire”, “Thunder vengeance”, “Shadowmaker”, “Break the wall”, “Winds of Transylvania”, “When destinies align”, “Raise some hell”, “Above the Black Sea”, “Under the red sky”, “Scream for me” (all live)

Finally! I was waiting for a reaction from you to one of the biggest metal bands today! These Japanese girls are insanely talented. And I know you're into more aggressive metal, like me, but just as I fell in love with them, I believe the same can happen to you. I'm not lying, there are at least forty LOVEBITES masterpieces. If you want Thrash Metal, review "Break the Wall". If you want Power Metal, review "Winds of Transylvania". If you want Heavy Metal, review "Edge of The World". If you want a ballad, review "Epilogue".
What I liked was the way the music changes with the singer. I had seen them before about 5 years ago and the Bass player was so good when she left I did not think they could find a bass player that good. I was so wrong Night wish songs are so intense nut these women are Band maid on steroids timing everything is spot on. Thank you for finding this.

White" was considered taboo in the Japanese metal scene, and there was a possibility that it would not be accepted by those around it. Nevertheless, they chose to wear white feminine costumes, saying, "We don't mind if we look like lone wolves. And they chose the wolf as the symbol of the band.
I have another Japanese band recommendation for you. Well, tbf, I have several, but I'll just do one for now. Check out MAXIMUM THE HORMONE and their song, A.I.L.E.N. MTH is sometimes called the System Of A Down of Japan, But this comparison is not fair...for SOAD. Because they will have multiple time, key and even genre changes in the same song.
Oh, I remember you reacting to Jinjer... Let me tell you, this is as big a rabbit hole as that. I hope you are willing to explore it. Lovebites has a large number of fans willing to follow you in your reactions. Unfortunately the people who recommended this to you still do not understand that this material is below the audio quality of the band's previous material. Even the handling of the cameras here is quite bad compared to previous works, and yet they continue to recommend it as a first reaction. It is assumed that if someone wants to recommend something it must be an optimal job, which is almost anything prior to what you saw. Well, I'm a fan and I don't like this. I hope you consider reviewing something else from before so you can see the real quality of the band.
I enjoy the energy in this performance, but disagree with some of the mixing decisions, for sure. That's not on the band (I don't know who did the pre-mastering mix of the live track capture, but that's not something the band usually does), but it does make me prefer the studio version, which I think has the mix the band was really looking for.
Might even more impress you to know that this was the first ever live concert of this bassist (Fami) with the band.
Man, I used to spam your channel with LOVEBITES pleads then gave up, great to see you finally did them! One of the select FEW that shouldn't take $30 to listen to their elite musicianship. The band:
Asami vocals, most of the lyrics, song writing - the one and only voice
Miyako guitar, pianos, keyboards, main composer - the golden touch
Midori guitar, songwriting for a few songs - crazy shredder
Haruna drums, wrote one of their songs - little big engine
Fami bass - shining fingers
(Miho bass, song writing and founder - natural born headbanger)
The jaw dropping moment of disbelief at what you see and hear is a tell-tale sign of a first time reaction, and second, third.....lol. Not 1 bad song in their catalogue so buckle up for the ride of your life.

Lovebites is the most technical and melodic metal in modern times.

Haruna is 4' 9" not 4'10"
I'm sure she must be 4'10" in her Reeboks @@arnaldotanta3630 🤣
Haruna start change her style of playing when she start listening to Helloween...
LOVEBITES - Judgement Day lyrics:
Never lived Never died Never end No way to go
Every night Everywhere Everything Arriving of darkness
What is “right” What is “wrong” What is “sin” Who’s to decide?
Hide and seek Truth or dare Playing tag Chased by the evil
Another back and forth of gaining and losing
Running out of my time
Each tick of the clock’s taking down piece of my life again
Who’s ally Who’s against Who’s to pick All in your hand
Up and down, in and out, left or right, answers turn around
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When the rain come to end, what’s waiting us Don’t look away
This is the truth
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Given the “foreverness”
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Leaving name in history
Tragedy in the past find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!
SOLO: midori / miyako /midori /miyako / both
Never lived Never died Never end No way to go
Every night Everywhere Everything Arriving of darkness
What do you see in this world full of insanity?
When do we come to ask what's awaiting us, don't look away!
This is the truth!
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Given the “foreverness”
RISE! THIS IS JUDGEMENT DAY!
Life - Leaving name in history
Tragedy in the past, find salvation
Now with the great will, the path lay in front of me
Starting here, this is the day!

Welcome to the best! I've had two "all-time favorite bands" for almost forty years; Led Zeppelin and Van Halen. This year I added a third; LOVEBITES!!!
Great review!
These women are all Elite Musicians, and masters at their Instrument(s)!!
🩷🐺🩷🐺🩷🐺🩷🐺🩷🐺🔥🔥🔥
Everytime I hear this song live, the first thing I do is to check I haven't left playback speed on 1.25x. The speed at which they can play is amazing.
LOVEBITES bringing the 💥💥and🔥🔥!! 🖖❤
And almost every song they do is jawdropping!
Great reaction video absolutely comprehensible to impressive classic heavy metal music. A dream for the fans and a nice surprise for both of you music freaks.
Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in
2018 - Wacken - Open Air in Germany
2018 - Bloodstock Open Air in England
2019 - Graspop Metal Meeting Festival in Belgium
2019 - Download Festival in Spain.
Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

Finaly you are in the Rabbit Hole. Last Time i had so much Fun, was with Tool, my Fav Band of all Time
more ...more lovebites mate !
Great reaction! 🤘🐺🐺🐺🤘
LOVEBITES sound in heaven.🎸🎸
So many great female Japanese bands
Female Japanese metal is a deep, deep rabbit hole, and well worth diving into, innit? For the last three or four years now, my favorite band in the world is from this scene (Nemophila), and these bands make up a big, big portion of my listening.
The other releases from this show give you an example of the diversity of their music.
Hammer of Wrath
Nameless Warrior
Liar
The 2021 Concert was good except the crowd was a bit subdued from COVID Restrictions, but the 2020 concert, Five of a Kind, is 17 songs that are non-stop fast.
Welcome to the 8th Wonder of the World, LOVEBITES!!!!
Thank you for your great reaction!.
These ladies will shock you &me everytime‼️.
Something that'll give you pause, that bassist is Fami, she's new to the band and that was her first performance with them. It was their first show is 2 years. Fami was only 20 or 21 there!
Lovebites best heavy metal band
hell yes. my fave all time metal band. love this band so much
Phenomenal band! Glad you got around to this reaction 🤘
Yeah man this was pretty wild
My favorite band.
The album version is great but this song kills live ! So fast, epic and powerful ! And the solos 😱! 🤩💯🔥🔥🔥
🔥LOVEBITES🐺PERFECTION🔥

congratulation you're just found the best metal band today.
Welcome to the Wolfpack❣ 🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🙏

How many solos can we do?

What I liked was the way the music changes with the singer. I had seen them before about 5 years ago and the Bass player was so good when she left I did not think they could find a bass player that good. I was so wrong Night wish songs are so intense nut these women are Band maid on steroids timing everything is spot on. Thank you for finding this.
Welcome to the Lovebites Army,guys!

you should react on FAMI ( the bassist) cover of Alien Alien. you'll see one of the best bassist of the world
This song is at 200 BPM. Beats Per Min.
you mean most likely knocking at heaven's door its from Guns 'n' Roses.

Just wow but I wish Rob Halford could front this band

This is female Iron Maiden.
