This was sick! Im coming from a hiphop/ trap producer background but I’m starting to produce metal, mainly using midi instruments. Seeing someone do it is super helpful as the challenge is not making it sound dumb robotic like you can get away with when producing trap.
Yes!! the biggest thing is making sure u do your guitar articulations and such. it takes a little bit of time, but makes a HUGE difference!

Nice video. Inspired me to look into this kind of writing aswell. Axure is only a 6 string vst right? I saw shreddagfe has a 7 string plugin i might have to look into.
Yo man, so with MIDI Guitar, you dont really look at it as how many strings.. but how low it can go. and AXURE goes down to C0 ! which is LLOOOWWW lol
@@chrisbedan Alright im trying to wrap my head around this right now, how i would go about writing riffs that i would play on a drop a 7 string, utilizing all of the strings. Still confuses me being a guitar player and not a producer. Thanks for the reply!

@@chrisbedanI see. That soled low end at 2:45 is probably just a brick walled split lower freqs then.
