These two verses in the Quran confirm that Jesus and Mohammed are prophets.
: “ The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him . “ Quran 5 : 75. ,,,,, “ 44 ) Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. “ Quran 3 : 144
Those verses don’t prove anything Surah 17:2
Brother please remember prophet (Nabi) and messenger (Rasul) are 2 different titles and roles . Yes it is possible for a man be chosen by The creator to be both . But regarding the verses you chose doesn’t not mention Nabi but Rasul . It’s very important to correct that .

He (and all Muslims) look at Prophet Isa (Jesus)pbuh through the lens of the Quran.
It's hard to say what's a "mistake" when different Christians have so many different beliefs. You will even have some Christians with the same Protestant identity, have different beliefs and understanding of Jesus, God, and the Bible. It might be a mistake according to you, then agreed by the next Christian.
As Salamu Alaikum. Are you of the belief that Paul was not a liar? Only asking because it seems as if you are saying that Allah (swt) revealed to our Prophet (pbuh) the answers about Jesus (pbuh) about what Paul was inspired to write.
Alaikum as Salaam, I'm not of that belief. But, the Christian world, in accepting his teachings, has been influenced by him and the Qur'an addresses those ideas as well as other matters.

The Quran says to follow the teachings of the prophet AKA the sunnah. If the hadith is authentic, it is considered part of the sunnah.

Jesus is Word of God in flesh. This is both recorded in the Bible and Quran. Jesus is more than a prophet, He is God himself.
Answer this question- why was Jesus sentenced to be crucified? He stated that he was the Messiah and the Son of God

I really cannot wrap my head around how someone can read the Bible and think Jesus, a man, was God.

1.) muslim means one who submits his will to Gods will, and Jesus (pbuh) and all the prophets (pbuth) did that
2.) in Aramaic God is pronounced Alaha, so linguistically he basically said Allah
3.) he NEVER claimed to be God nor did he worship a trinity or teach the worship of a trinitarian God that was a later developed belief influenced by roman paganism.
