I. Am. *LOVING* displacer beasts in Wild Country! Their design, the fact that they're sentient and ancient, the way they integrate with the world's lore as being the ones who taught Shadow Monks how to Shadow Step, and that homebrew metamagic she gave Bric? All beautiful. Brilliant job, David & co.!

The whole "Which half?" "Good question!" felt very Family Feud. Except we finally got someone, in the form of Jaron/Marlon, honest enough to go, "NO! Pork-upine is NOT a 'good answer'!" 😂 But then Bric's deduction that "if they're just feet, they can't cast Sending, so their top halves must have survived" is what truly got to me 🤣
But actually, Adam/Victor brings up a good point: I've never seen a party this big without a single healing class. Not even a ranger or bard! Is that even viable? Or will we need some Alistair ex Machina healing moments to prevent a TPK? 😅

Great job guys. As a GM myself I really like watching this and am very much looking forward to seeing this story unfold. You're doing an amazing job David, and I'm so glad you have six incredible motivated players. I hope this is the beginning of a very long series of adventures I am guaranteed to watch.

I loved this episode so much! The training was cool, David’s cinematic storytelling style coming in strong, the artwork supporting everything, and the fun (and chaotic) dynamics of the group were great. I wish I could turn in more live but, it’ll just make it more special if and when I can.

I’m really loving the characters. Hey Jay, what’s the Turkey incident? Does it have connection to Mimi’s origins? Still so hilarious with everyone at the temple but has been multiplied. Love how creative you guys are with roleplaying. Haha. David looks like he is getting tortured with having to voice NPCs the party wants to interact with. You guys are so fun. I’m looking forward to this adventure for the Ark Fire.

If you're gonna do another one of these shows you should at the very least expend enough effort to not have it be a literal rip off of CR. Like, mix things up a bit otherwise, what are you bringing that they aren't?
I disagree, CR has a great format so why try to reinvent the wheel? The players fun & interesting. The story is good too. I applaud them 👏 Can’t wait to see more. 👍
Here here! And might I add, the great thing about DND is the fun you have with friends and PCs, right? Each group is different and some will resonate with you and some won’t. CR is great because there is such an appealing mix.
I came to Bonus Action because I really love Adam and Jay on their channel. I really like their humor and their personalities. They came out with Bonus Action and it wasn’t a sure thing that I was going to watch. I watched the three pre-adventure eps and really liked them. I vibed with the mix of personalities, characters, and humor. I will watch this and I still love CR. They didn’t make the wheel though and there are indeed lots of different types of bikes. I wanna ride this one.
How is this a ripoff of Critical Role? This is just D & D, they didn't invent it. If you think CR are the only people doing live play recordings you're very much mistaken.
@@DerekHartley Their whole format, down to the minutiae, is a clear copy of CR. It's not about D&D, it's about their format. My whole point is that if they're going to do another D&D live session kind of show, the least they could do is come up with their own format, bring something new to the table. Again, if they don't then what's the point?
@@JediMasterZao The point is that it's a completely different story, a different cast and a different universe. If 'playing a game while being recorded' is the only commonality there must be a lot of content out there that you hate.
