This is easily my favorite project Jon Schaffer has ever done outside of Iced Earth. The music and lyrics make this album very special. You can feel the passion in Jon's singing since the subject matter of the songs means so much to him. I listened to this album alot when it first came out and I still listen to it very often. Jon Schaffer should sing way more because he has a great singing voice. I also really love the EP Spirit Of The Times big time. Hopefully they release it on CD sometime soon. I had made a burned CD with the whole album Brush-Fires Of The Mind and the EP Spirit Of The Times so I can listen to both back to back much easier. The subject matter of The corruption of The Federal Reserve is not the reason why I love Sons Of Liberty. It is the music and Jon Schaffer's passionate singing. I really look forward to a new Sons Of Liberty album hopefully really soon in the future. Thanks again for reviewing this MASTERPIECE!!
This album was fantastic more for its message rather than the music! The message was everything and we NEED to pay attention! The whole idea behind this album WAS to bring a message of corruption to the masses. He even released a bunch of videos diving into it.
