Box to Bench w/the AirMaks Arms KRAiT .22 cal - a Compact Pellet Firing Bullpup from Utah Airguns
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- This airgun is less than 24 inches long.
It weighs 5.5 pounds.
It has all of the dimensional and comfort adjustments, pic rails and accessories built in that you might have to add on with other air rifles.
You really don't need to tune it, but you could do some tweaks if you wanted to.
BUT...How does it shoot?
Well, thanks to my friends at Utah Airguns I've been provided the opportunity to show you my results of my first two days with her.
In this video we will look at groups at 30 and 50 yards with JSB Hades and 18.13 pellets, chronograph numbers (with the Hades) talk about the features, show you how to switch the cocking lever from side to side, and even show off a prototype muzzle brake that may be hitting the market soon. By the way, comments on this video might just determine, at least in part, whether or not it is produced, so I hope you take a good look and let me know what you think.
I love the look of the muzzle brake❤
I’ll pass that along.
Greetings, PJ. thank you for taking your precious time on the making of this video. A lot of good information in it about these Airmaks. As a matter of fact, after I saw your video using a Krait X on a bench Rest competition and taking 2nd place (Congratulations!) I decided to purchase one. It took me a while a lot of videos regarding the Krait X but after your video, I made up my mind. It's a great air rifle and Wow it's amazing!. Thank you, and may god bless you.
I’m glad to have helped. Enjoy your new Krait!
This is like watching Walter Sobchak from The Big Lebowski unboxing his new bowling ball, love this! Great channel!
Much appreciated!
NICE!!!! Greetz from the Netherlands!!!
Hello back!
Thanks for the review PJ. I got my Krait from Utah Airguns last October and I love it. It's a good shooter as well. I love the adjustability of this gun.
Lots of it baked in!
Would definitely be interested in that muzzle break. I’ll be one of the first in line. .. I was about to pull the trigger on a Maverick compact and now you go ahead and bring this. So many toys!
Sorry to muddy the water. The Maverick has more power potential. The Krait is lighter and likely to stay that way.
Very sweet gun my friend. A great truck gun.
Love it!
I have the KRAIT x Sniper 700mm and after the factory regs were recalled twice I put a Huma reg in and it's outstanding 😮
23 grain slugs at 1050fps reg at 135 bar Any brand 23 grain slugs so very accurate 😊
That's a nice pressure for that power level. Thanks for sharing!
Great presentation, nice gun!
Much appreciated.
Brilliant review super little gun keep the videos coming
Thanks!
Awesome shooting gun.
💯💯💯
As always a very informative Vid . Nice PJ looks a nice rifle !
Thanks Lee!
I’ve also watched some of our English cousins with a .177 Krait, just under 12 FPE, shooting field targets over 80 yards, and the accuracy of the CZ barrels is amazing with 10gr pellets. It doesn’t look like we have the .177 on this side of the pond…only .22 and .25. Considering the barrel is only 16” your 50 yard group certainly rivals that of more expensive .22’s. Great review of this light weight compact!!
Thank you. I have a Katran in .177, but full power and it’s amazing.
Nice video. I like the look of that muzzle break! I would love to be a tester of one of those in .25 caliber!
I’ll pass it along. It will be multi caliber using the FatBoy muzzle brake inserts.
Nice video brother
Thanks!
thank PJ
You are welcome.
Yes please on the brake
Thanks for the review, now working on trying to get one. Can't find one in the State's and overseas would add a couple of 100 USDs! .22 is the flavor for me.
Try Utah Airguns or The Pellet Shop.
Ended up going with Krale and saved a couple of hundred dollars. Must have grabbed one of the last .22 on sale. Just .25s now.
AirMaks is a gun have been interested in i would love to see a side by side qc check with say BRK or AAA. pan
I have the L in .22, love it, but as I have had nothing similar to compare it with, I am chuffed to see/hear your opinion.
Glad to help.
The muzzle break look nice. Did you also use the muzzle break whilst shooting the Hades pellet groups?
No, that was just used in the last segment.
@@WiscAirGunners I wonder if the muzzle break helped with the accuracy of the domed pellets.
A nice review but while there were constant references to the guns size and weight there was never a mention of its actual length or weight - that would have completed a good review.
They were having a bunch of regulator problems with that gun, is yours having any regulator creep?
My understanding is that there were some regulator problems on the original guns Utah received. AirMaks sent people over to replace the things that weren’t perfect. I have not seen any problem at all with that, and I’m assured that any issues with the guns that they’ve brought in have been sorted.
Your scope yardage stickers are awesome. Where do I get them?
I bought a Brother label maker and then printed and cut them myself. It takes some playing around to get it right but you get true custom results.
What is the discussion sourrounding MKI MKII monoblocks and AirMaks QC on their regulators? Huma came up with an aftermarket fix regulator. Now, the Krate Lite is said to come with Huma regulators. Just doesn't sound good IMHO.🤔
I can only speak generally about ones that were imported into the US by Utah Airguns. Before any of those were released, a team from the Czech Republic came over to work through all of them.
This caused a fairly long delay in the us release.
I believe all of them received Huma regs. I have a Krait and a Krait L, and neither has had any issues.
I think that since putting Huma’s in worked they’ve decided with the new release to publicize the Huma connection, as other manufacturers have. But that part is a guess.
Awesome is an overused word!
Bought one this Sunday that was about $1200 and it also came with scope and pellets. Do you think that its a good deal?
Great review. How does the trigger compare to the Maverick?
That’s a hard comparison. The Maverick has a more distinct first-second stage break, and the Krait feels more AR-ish. The Maverick has a shoe and the Krait has a blade, so that’s different too. They both function well, and neither limits precision.
What was your regulator setting please ?
Hello, what brand is the bipod?
That is made by Scandinavian Arms, formerly Scandinavian Airguns. It’s very nice.
Can u put a bigger bottle on
I believe you can. I think they offer valve and un-valved versions.
What’s the FPS ?
870
@@WiscAirGunners Appreciate that!!
At the end, what rail is that you have underneath please ?
It’s a new Saber Tactical ARCA to flat (rubberized) plate adapter. It’s been designed for shooting out of car windows. It should be out in the next month.
Hi PJ, so, how does someone contact you? I think I'm going to be up your way and would love to do some shooting with you.
Shoot me a message on Instagram. @wisconsinairgunners
