- We attach the Fence Hanging Hay Feeder to the fence just in time for Winter in this video and try to do a couple other add ons that don’t work this time around.

You could put Eulana's food bowl on the wooden fence inside the shelter. On the second to bottom rail.
Also I heard that vets are recommending that for bigger dogs that their food bowls be elevated. My sister has always had great Danes and her vet said it's something to do with the esophagus and the way the food travels.
I thought about the wood inside the lean to but that would defeat the purpose i intended on which is to not have to enter the pen. I have added the hanging food bowl that i was thinking of and I will show in a video up coming

It's good for Brenden to get a taste of farm life before starting his own. Rain, or shine, sleet, ice, or snow, the farmer doesn't get a day off. I know your daily life isn't the same without Bella. Sending you prayers, and hugs about that. Time helps, but the void will always be there. I love you guys! God bless.

I haven't been watching y'all very long but I'm sorry for your loss. It's a good idea to feed your big dogs up off the ground due to twisted stomach it's deadly for them unless you get them to the vet in time.
Feed the goats first. Maybe certain deer feeders would work for the dog. The kind u attach to a tree. Keeps the rain off.
The problem is the goats are used to their feed being in a bucket so when I bring the dog food out in that bucket I think it’s theirs they’re not leaving the bucket
Your doelings look great and Eulana looks great too & is doing a great job. I know how you feel about your Bella during everything we have going on while I was in the hospital we lost Miley.
They should look great huh… doelings are half Bois D’Arc and Yelana is Bois D’Arc. I didnt realize you lost Miley, was that in a video if so I must have missed it.
The new hay feeders for the goats are cool. I am so sorry for the loss of Bella. She was a dear, sweet dog.

Hose clamps- or wire clamps. Great job on the hay feeders. GOD gave us some truly beautiful animals, and I have always felt the spelling of dog, was so easily turned around to GOD, and a dog(s) for me has always been a special blessing from GOD!

Yeah we both lost our Boxers on the same evening and it was aweful

How would I use that outdoor
@@FowlerFamilyFarm If you built/get a dog house and put the door on it with a solar panel and with the collar on the dog, the dog could get it and would keep the goats out. Also use a hinge panel for the dog feeder so you could add the food without going inside the dog house?

I love the idea that Bella is like your Guardian Angel and is working for the good of the farm. What a wonderful way to think. She was always keeping a close eye on everything.

Can you make a slit cut in the back of the dog food feeder so that the part of the fence that is blocking it can sit in the cut ?? Then screw a small 2x4 under the lip to hold it secure ? Just thinking 🤔.

I’ve always had bigger (70+ lbs) dogs and have always elevated their food to eliminate the chance for bloat. What would be “natural” for how a wild dog or wolf eats in the wild has nothing to do with our “designer” dogs and how they should eat! Bloat is deadly and can kill very quickly and big dogs are especially susceptible
I found the other fence hanging bowl and she is eating out of it very well.
