Standing against a wall or doorframe will help with posture if you ensure you touch it as much as possible (with a pelvic tilt). I also believe that the shorter your rolled up sleeve, the longer your legs look. And the wider the belt, the narrower the waist (I am slim, but skinny belts widen my waist).

❤ I also think contrast works in a similar fashion. Color need not match if the value of the items are similar. Light with light, medium with medium and dark with dark. You can also do light with medium, medium with dark but the contrast will start to be more noticeable. Thanks, nice video. I forgot to add. Color can be distracting when trying to judge the contrast between two items, you can take a phone picture of the two items change the picture to gray scale and see the diference in value.

What brand of shapewear would you recommend for extra tummy control?
Honestly, all I have at this time are some tummy control shorts. I've not worn them often but they do the trick when I am feeling a little more lumpy than usual. I would recommend ordering several different makes and styles on amazon. Then you can try them all on, and decide what does the job for you, and send back what isn't right for you.

I can’t tuck my top in because I’m in the 8th month of an ilostomy. The bag situation. I’ve always been into fashion but this makes some styles hard to wear. But I am always watching & trying to figure out what does work & still be stylish.

What about high rise jeans on some with a short torso? I'm 5'1", large breast and short torso. When I put on high rise jeans they look like they are close to my chest. Thoughts?
Hello! Wear anything that is high rise to you. You want it to hit you at about your belly butting or a little higher, at the smallest point of your torso. I would go try a high rise and a mid rise on, and if a mid rise hits you at your belly button, that would be considered a high rise on your body type. I wish I had a shorter torso, then I would have longer legs, lol. Thank you for sharing your time with me! God bless and have a wonderful evening!

Should I wear high rise jeans if I’m short waisted?
Hello! If you are short waisted, I would try a mid rise first. But I would just keep trying jeans on until you find what looks best on you.
Don't forget slips. They really do smooth things out and stop things from clinging.

Remember when high rise any pant or jean were called grandma type. Low rise always showed bulges where you did not want to have them
I absolutely hated the low rise. They were so unflattering to just about everyone. Thank goodness those are gone, hopefully to never return. Love you!

What if you have a big gut? Tuck or no tuck?
IMO the tuck is a challenge for the apple figure. Pear figure of any size always has a waist. I wear tops that fall away and they work best.
Try both and decide how you feel best, you might be surprised. If you decide that untucking is best for you, then try the vertical line trick with a blazer while it is still cool enough to do so. What do you think of a peplum or an empire wast top? Peplum tops and dresses are trending right now, so it should be easy to find a few! Thank you so much for sharing your time with me.
