Synopsis : This film describes the Tungabhadra Dam in the south, one of thelargest masonry dams and storage reservoirs showing a uniqueexperiment in inter-state co-operation. This project is designedto usher in a new era for district like Bellary and Raipur inMysore State and Anantpur, Cudapah and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh,region long afflicted by drought.

Wow... On films division channel I always keep on watching the how the old dams were built. Thank u films division. I belongs to Karnataka and this dam is very near to Hospet city. I have visited this dam 2 times. We must be grateful to our all seniors who worked in that project including Engineers, staff, workers and politicians. I am a civil engineer and feel proud.

Watching this in 2024, amazing feet during 1953 Kudos the dam engineers and all construction workers. Still servers AP, Karnataka and I type this message 2024 has good rains and has 70 TMC of water. Srisailam & Nagarjun Sagar anxiously waiting for this dam to fill so that they get their share. Happy Times.
