@@bradgiantbear4716 you dont think chase is a classy driver? he doesnt complain and doesnt bitch when he doesnt win. he shows true class on and off the track. id guess your driver though probably either wrecks people constantly or bitches every week.
After the Race Corey said he is going to try and learn from the race and now he is trying to pull knowledge from Chase that he can use. Exceptional competitor and I hope he wins soon.
I hope there’s a lot more Corey fans after that because it was fun to watch and cheer him on and battle one of the best in the sport for a win. Just proves he has the talent but just needs some more experience in those positions. Hats off to both Corey and Chase
I'm a big Chase fan (Hendrick fan in general, Jeff Gordon fan since I was a kid), and it was great to see him win at his home track. That said, since Chase was already locked in, I would not have been disappointed to see Corey win. Always fun to see a driver who has fought for it get his first win, and it would hake shaken the playoff picture WAY up!
me too!!! Jeff was my driver since the 90s,i followed him in dirt cars too!! when he retired I didn't have a real driver that I loved like Jeff, but now I do I've been watching Chase for the last few years he really is so talented winning in Atlanta was ahhmazing !!
After winning two stages and be dominant, I kinda didn't want Chase to blow it. As long as he finished ahead of Chastain and all and keep doing well with points was fine. Just... IDK, two weeks in a row where he was the car to beat mostly and he loses it at the end. I didn't mind him losing to Tyler last week, but here at Atlanta... sorry Corey, got take that win at the home track.
I agree with everything you said, except with your last point prior to this race Lajoie unfortunately was 31st in points even with the win he still is in danger of missing the playoffs
With Nascar recently becoming about bumping and recking, do what it takes, stuff. It is encouraging to see these 2 guys that understand it's about racing, driving, not wrecking someone.
Yes!!!!! Work on that resume the next 18 months!!!!!!! Rcr has to take notice how well Corey runs when Spire puts in the extra effort. Throwing away a 400k car is hard for a single car team at super Speedway.
I'm a Chase fan and I was happy for him to win. I was also sad for Corey to not get a win. He handled the block with class and he is one of my favorites going forward.
I know it must be painful or difficult for Corey to keep his cool about the race results but I think it'll pay off in the long run I know I didn't know too much about him before this but he's got a new fan in me by the way he's handled this and I'd be willing to bet he's earned some respect from some of the other drivers too, unlike another driver I can think of.
It's good to see racers acting like professionals. It was a great, intense race, and while I would have liked to see Corey bring it home, I feel like Chase did the right thing and won it honestly. I also agree with Corey that it was probably the moustache that made all the difference.
I like the fact that right off the bat Corey addressed the pink elephant in the room and the way he asked the questions. He was detailed, right to the point and professional about it.
It wasn't this weekend but the crowd is still big to see Corey win, a guy who is already a winner for his work and effort off the tracks. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Brazil is rooting for you a lot.
I have been a Chase Elliott since he began in the lower levels of NASCAR fan but how can you not love Corey LaJoie? Of course I wanted engine #9 to win but I really hoped Corey got it. He’s been close and I am sure he’ll get one, soon I hope!
WOW! Two very professional & talented Automotive Circus Performers... WTG Chase...TY Both for the Show...Corey, your day is coming...Hello to your Dad...
Coreys fans is what i dont like they are so hatefull (does not apply to all fans of his) i like corey because he is a good racer and a forgiving person

The apple never falls far and you boys are right up agin the trunk......from the northern most dirt track on earth thank you both!
Chase looks great with the Fu Manchu mustache going on. I used to watch their dads in races. Geez, I'm old. Been watching NASCAR almost full-time since 1986.
@@debbiedenny4944 right. I watched it twice and still don't know half of what they said because I was too distracted by Fletch and hoping Chase would call him over.
“Drivers hate the 1!” Until they want a push it appears. Both guys talked about how good the 1 was pushing that day. (Despite the damage) Race was fun wish Corey could have made the upset.
4 or 5 wins a year for the next 7 or 8 years Chase, man u should get that even if it takes 10 more years . I was foreseeing a run like Jimmie had, there in 2020 November brother. Keep it up
Corey do you know if the Cup guys or even Xfinity like the new ATL configuration? As a fan I think it’s terrible. No more tire strategy, pit strategy, amazing tire fall off! I really do not like speedway racing at all. More danger than normal by a lot and so expensive for the teams with multiple cars wrecked on your team.
Two of the most classy guys in Nascar!
Chase? Lol

Corey Lajoie to hms soon? 👀
he didnt really have a reason not to keep his cool, its racing, had h e been in front of chase he wouldve blocked him the same way lol
