Long comment alert: 🙂 A trick I learned when making salad: put the dressing at the bottom of the salad bowl, load up the ingredients and chill. Mix when ready to serve. This prevents the veggies from getting too soggy from sitting in dressing beforehand. If you use fruit, chill it separate to keep its juices from sogging up the rest of the veggies and mix it in when you are ready to serve. This way your salads always retain their crunch. And yes, the tommy mangoes (which is the particular species you use here) is firm when ripe. When ripe, they have more of the red on the peel. I'd add spiced grilled potato wedges for an additional starch. When thinking about additional starches, I tend to consider what will go well with the meat or stew I am serving. But yumm yumm yumm, all looking delish.
You can also make rainbow PopCorn by putting in plain M&M's in the popcorn Wile it is popping and the chocolate and the colors of the M&M melt on to the popcorn 🍿 is so fun and delicious
'Ever since I learnt how to make coloured popcorn I feel like I am short changing all the kids who come here if I just give them plain popcorn'. That made me smile, lucky kids! x
I always wait for that part when you taste and dance lol... Your channel is always amazing Suzy! It reminds me to focus on growth...Growth attracts beautiful things! Big ups gal!
Darling, I have a few products that come in this pots too. I put the cream in a squared plastic bag, cut the tip and squeeze the cream to the other pot. It saves us time! Success! I love your channel!
I came looking for the mango salad video but got lost. So I decided to try and make it from what I could remember. I put thin red pepper strips, shredded lettuce, mango slices, cucumber and a fresh pineapple citrus salad dressing. I served it to my hubby and first thing "babe is that mango in the salad....it is so good". Thanks Suzy for inspiration, I would never have added mango in salad....only used apple before this.
So I made the beef stew tonight instead of Monday. My husband loves spicy pepper so I had to add it to make him happy. So then to go with it I decided to do an African fusion version of Ugali(Kenya)/Eba(Nigeria)/FuFu(Ghana).... Maize (corn flour) meal/fermented dried cassava & ground dried plantain (or ground green plantain chips). My husband and I really enjoyed it.
Wow the fish sticks it’s sooo good to see u prep and later see how u put all the prep together to make a full meal and the chicken I know that taste good because it looked good everything looks fantastic I can understand why the kids enjoyed themselves you know Agatha made a beetroot and pineapple salad that I’m going to try do u guys eat beetroot keep us posted if that is something u are going to try ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Lisa! I like beetroot. But I've bought it a few times and end up forgetting to use it so it just goes bad in the fridge! I should make a salad with it.
Small world .. your guests are familiar. Lovely lovely people. Haven’t seen them in many years but ni watu wazuri sana. Nice video too all the good looks So delicious
Yummy everything! Thanks for always crowning my week. I learn so much from you. Allow me to mention this, what you got IS cilantro. Coriander is the seeds you get from that...that means dhania leaves = cilantro and the seeds we use as a spice or for planting dhania = coriander seeds.
Coriander and cilantro is almost the same thing 😂😂 Cilantro is Spanish for coriander leaves.. Americans call coriander, cilantro the rest of world call them coriander (dhania).

Americans call it cilantro & the Brits call it coriander. In India it's simply dhania 🌱

What's the difference between raisins and sultanas? I have always thought it's one and the same thing🤷
Hi Betty! You are technically right. Raisins are from red grapes and sultanas from green grapes.

Hi, thanks for your videos. For marinate canola oil or vegetable oil is the best. Save the olive oil for salads or pasta or spaghetti.
Also for monagoes use a peeler to avoid wastage
