  • Nighttime ambience to help you sleep at night. Listening to low frequency rhythmic sounds, such as crickets and cicadas (gently) chirping in unison, is one of the best audio sleeping aids to listen to when you’re having trouble sleeping. This is because these sounds are like nature’s metronome and repetitive sounds, especially when played at a relatively low volume, have a calming effect on the mind and can help to induce sleep.
    Sleep ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) or brain massage as I like to call it, is known to activate regions of your brain associated with sleep-inducing hormone dopamine. This sleep-promoting hormone serves as a time cue to your biological clock, promotes sleep anticipation in your brain, and helps to orientate your body's circadian rhythm, which is an internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle .. & yes, I did have to look all that up.
