Null would normally run off to the principal's office and disappear, then when you approach the fourth exit, he shuts it on you. Which in his own words, "You see, I closed the last exit, which means there is literally no way you can win. That's not supposed to happen!" "I BROKE THE GAME, there is NOTHING you can DO now!!!" And yes, there was a Null bossfight you missed back in Classic Remastered that you would get for doing pretty much everything else in the game. First you must beat all three styles to unlock the "Fun" settings. Once you beat any of the three styles with the fun settings enabled, you unlock "NULL" style. In order to progress in Null style however, you need to go back to the other three styles and get their secret endings.
