Thank you for the shoutout Brandi!! I am so glad you are getting close to your goal and I can’t wait till you display the whole set!!! As far as the 2 copies of pocket monsters stadium, maybe you can keep one loose and put the other in a box. Also if I remember correctly this particular game was meant to simulate tournaments held in Japan during that time. I’m not entirely sure on that though
Oh absolutely! Your copy is in much better shape so I will protect that one and keep it on display in the case. The other that is more played will be in one of the Japanese consoles I have. I didn’t expect to get two copies! I really appreciate it and that’s great to know. That sounds about right. Super cool to have!
@@GamerAhmeralso I’m not sure if you know this or not, but our Pokemon stadium 2, was released in Japan as Pocket Monsters Gold and Silver, to go along with the Gen 2 game boy games. Our first Pokemon Stadium was their Pocket Monsters Stadium 2
It was super fun hunting for game for you my friend! You better send me your updated list, I’ll be back in that store tomorrow.😊 Really glad to hear you have less than 30 left! That’s totally awesome!
“Cool” box for irritating stick. Fantastic artwork! 😂 That MarioKart 64 RC car is dope! I wouldn’t have known Sim City 2000 was ever on the N64. Surprised that didn’t get a US localization. Great pickups!
1:04 - According to a post on Reddit (in /r/n64), the game is called _Utchan Nanchan no Honoo no Charenjaa Denryuu Iraira Bou_ (ウッチャンナンチャンの炎のチャレンジャー 電流イライラ棒), which translates to "Utchan Nanchan's Flaming Challenger: Irritating Electric Rod". It seems to be based on a Japanese game show. While Nintendo has always been a big name in videogaming, I'm always surprised that the Nintendo 64 did not perform as well in the marketplace as their other consoles. Some quick Google searches showed that the Nintendo 64 only had 196 games in Japan, 296 in North America, and 243 in Europe. (As a collector, you may have more accurate numbers.) In North America, the Super NES had 721 games, the GameCube had over 650, and and the Wii had over 1200. So having less than 300 games seems strangely low. I've heard that in the late '90s, game developers favored the PlayStation a lot more because using CDs instead of cartridges not only made games cheaper to produce, but also allowed them to get to market more quickly, with much less time needed to produce them.
Oh absolutely! I still cannot pronounce that! Very cool to know it was based on a game show. And yes. Wish there were way more games for the Nintendo 64. It’s crazy that the number is so low compared to other systems. But the discs definitely ramped up numbers for all of the systems afterwards. Crazy how that switch happened and how much easier and cheaper the process was.

@@thebuckeyegamer7443 exactly! It’s wild. Crazy how Japan gets so much and most of the time they get stuff first.

Doraemon is also super popular in Latin America specially in Ecuador where I ( Xavi ) am from.
Oh very cool! I didn’t realize that too!
@@GamerAhmerThere exists an English dub of _Doraemon_ -- in that dub, Doraemon pronounces his name as doh-RYE-mon.
There are 2 games that never saw the light of day; hybrid haven and survivor day one from Konami wonder 💭 why ?
Hmmm. 🤔
Do you have HSV adventure racing, an Australian exclusive
Looks like Beetle Adventure Racing here but I just saw they replace the cars. I’ll have to pick that one up too!
@@GamerAhmer Yeah same game just Holden car skins.
What would cost Japan n64 games complete in boxed cost
Hmm. I’m not sure what the entire set would cost but there are a bunch of cheaper games in Japan compared to North America.
Irritating stick? Cover looks more like irritated blow up doll. Lol Japanese cover art can be so bizarre sometimes
Oh it sure looks crazy! Lol
❤❤❤
🔥
Do you proudly display superman 64 among your collection? lol jk
Bahaha. Of course! I should find a boxed copy one day. Make a bad games area. lol
