I see a lot of hate about how much she should be able to do after x amount of classes but my real concern is that her studio doesn't mandate having a mat under her for inversions. It makes me question the studio.
After three classes and how young she Loks, I think she's doing really good. She has the flexibility and er strength is really good she has pointed toes and straight knees almost in every pose. She did really for only three classes.
I don't understand why some people feel the need to compare themselves to others. None of us learn at the exact same pace. So, what may come naturally to some requires more effort from others. At least she is taking the time and energy to perform at all. You also have to keep in mind that not all directors/coaches teach the same. As a dancer, I have had a director who just threw together some choreography in order to get paid every month, one who really conditioned me for better flexibility and technique, and a couple who fell in between. Some directors are more focused on just the enjoyment of the art, while others are focused on technique and advancement. So, a new student's skills are somewhat dependent upon that.
I must say that after having put up the equipment for aerial yoga in my house this past weekend ( having never taken a class mind you nor seen a class in person) that this did display some stretches that I have not seen in my research of poses via UA-cam. I see some of this being quite helpful in rehabilitating my shoulder injury. Thank you kindly for the post. She is wonderful!
She did a great job for a beginner, it looks like she was already flexible do that helped her out a lot. Very simple moves but SHES only had three classes so makes sense. The title was very misleading.
@@AndreaGuerrero-zj3dw that's not a given you know !! there are so many people nowdays that try aerial yoga classes , people of different ages even at their forties and fifties , people that have injuries or people that are not flexible at all ! for those is not that easy to achieve these moves so quickly !! this young girl made those moves look so graceful and effortless , she didint struggle at all and i think overall that's the point
To all you people hating on this: Even if you say that this is easy,it takes alot of self-esteem and physical practice to be able to do it.What makes it amazing is that she got all the moves down gracefully, its not so easy once you do it. You are depending on these strips of cloths. If you fall there is a pretty good chance that you could crack your skull open especially on those wooden floors, she didnt show a hint of fear, that to me is pretty cool. She stayed calm and collected depite what could happen to her. Besides that, she did all the moves pretty dang well for only three classes. Guys please stop hating on this girl...
THANK YOU! I've been doing aerials for what will be 7 years in January, and it takes a lot of strength, confidence, flexibility, and the right mindset to do aerials. Many people think they could just jump up on the silks (what the cloth is formally called) and do this, but you have to make sure you warm up and you are wearing the correct clothing and know what you are doing. It's 100% harder then it seems
Quinn Melody ya because I also do aerial acrobatics and in my class we have to climb it and do a bunch of tricks but sometimes we still use the knot you r right it's not that hard ( these poses though)
I take classes and I can do every single one of the moves because they are the first few moves they teach you. also they may look hard but they are SUPER simple
For everyone saying this kid isnt much of a big deal i agree, after all beconing a full on aerialist takes months or years of practice, this girl is doing very simple moves that could easily be replicated by a youth class.
Nartuo007 KOBK it's just a personal opinion of mine as a 14 year old, if you think it's rude just not read my comments or if you don't want to run into my comments again feel free to block me if you'd like
I learned this after two classes, BUT you handled your transitions with such ease and really felt the music. We may all be able to all do this beginner stuff, but she did it better.
I don't understand all the hate everyone learns at their own pace. For me I used to be a gymnast and a dancer so when I started aerial I already knew a lot of stuff. It's all matters on background and ability
the silk is actually really hard, so to do these moves in just 3 lessons is a real Talent. I have been doing silk for quite a long time and I can only do the splits and some other very simple tricks. if you think it's easy, it's not and it requires a lot of strength that most people don't have but I mean it kida depends on how long the lessons are but still good on her for trying it.👍
These comments are hilarious. First of all, if you can't spell, you shouldn't be commenting at all, you should be studying. Secondly, age and number of classes doesn't matter, it depends on the person and their physical abilities when they start. Some people are naturally stronger/more flexible than others, have more body awareness etc. I've seen people who are in the knot for weeks before doing anything else and I've seen people able to nail an inversion or hip key after only a class or two. Young and old. It just depends.
Totally! And 99% of us fall somewhere it between (like me!) I've been doing silks now for about a year but things like hip keys took a few classes! It just takes time and practice.
true I've been taken classes for like 2 months and it took me like 4 classes to do inversions on the air but I never did it with a knot tho, yesterday one of those girls told me it took her 1 year to do it, still some of the other new girls can't do it at all even with the knot
why must people choose to see the negative? this is a thirteen year old after 3 classes for gods sake! she has beautiful technique and many people cannot get close to this young girls skills after way more than 3 classes.
I'm not hating but this is my opinion 1. she does the straddle position a lot 2 she mainly does tricks not actual silk skills 3 and I'm pretty sure I would be able to do everything she did in one lesson 4 she doesn't really have a lot of grace in her movements 5 she is not as amazing as it says she was and was not that flexible anyone slightly agree with any of my opinions?
Mazey Tumblez part of that is correct but Ariel silks is also about strength plus she's only had three classes so she's never done those things until her classes so yes they try to make it a whole lot easier by tying it at the bottom. And just because she can't do contortion work doesn't mean she isn't flexible she is flexible but not as flexible as you see contortion work but she is very good on grace and everything
All the other comments are so rude. I dont know why everyone is saying this. if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say it at all. Everyone else is being a jerk. Stop. This girl IS amazing. Some people cant even go into a straddle. I bet everyone else is just jealous.
Being a person who doesn't do this looking at any of it makes me feel happy and i think it all looks amazing, i wish i had the body physique like this so i could at least try it.
She did very good just for going to class 3 times I've done aerial for awhile now but I remember when I first started the silks tied around your body, it tends to hurt a lot more than people actually think! She did very well at 1:24 that stuff hurts because your not used to that tight grip and to hold that posture is very well done. 2:50 also very good! I didn't even learn that after my 3rd practice, well done. your a quick learner.
WHY is there a shit storm of negativity in the comments!? Ffs yeah good for you if you were able to do drops after your 3 classes but seriously this is as cool! Only three classes and she's made a lil choreography for a song and it went well with it. Yeah I guess it was simple (compared to some more advanced aerialists) But the moves she made were very well controlled and graceful. Not many can do that after that few classes especially if they have no previous experience and or flexibility or the strength. I know my arms would tremble towards the end of the song. She's going AMAZING! I don't understand you people....
Natalia Rosas she is doing her best stop dissing her for her talent I mean people learn a different paces so stop being jerk about it and be happy that they are trying .
Right... Let me get this straight. You learned this in how long? I'm guessing a single lesson. Well done! You learnt moves! Try portraying the emotion and elegance coming from this girl. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. If anything, you should be wishing this girl luck in her very promising talents. Not as though she would need anything from you. My kindest regards, Angel. Xxx
Don't hate on Natalie all she is saying is that those poses aren't advanced poses or anything. She didn't say that this girl was bad, or the girl was doing something wrong, she simply stated a fact.
Angie Mannion Very promising talents? She literally pointed her toes, no character or story. That is what aerial silks is about, and this isn't even proper tissu (aerial silks). It's wayyyyyy to easy if you have a tied bottom. She twirls in fabric, no strength required, and trust me I know these things after working with tissu since I was 5 years old.
It's good to show off ! Shes doing great ! I do aerial hoop , silks and pole but I'm not saying anything. It's just manners. You need to get a grip if your being rude to a thirteen year old
What's amazing is how flexible she is. But that was not learned in the 3 classes. She was either already naturally flexible, or has gained flexible over a few months or years. The silk work isn't amazing - it is very simplistic, and frankly, kind of boring. Pretty much all she does is rest on a knot in the silks that was already made, and show of her flexibility. It was pretty boring. And the title is very misleading, because I was expecting a child prodigy on silks that would blow me away. This did not fit the bill AT ALL!!! Sorry.
I agree with u on all but the flexibility in had that flexibility when I was born and learned an elbow stand and a straddle when I was between the ages 2-6 years old
I'm not trying to be mean so please just don't nail me but have you taken aerial silk classes yet? In my first three classes I learned more than she did but it depends on her physical fitnesss! Her parent/guardian that was recording was probably just proud of her
hiiii.... i do silks and i love it! I'm 15 :) What she did was actually super basic and you could definitely do ALL of it after one class! I'm sure you will love it!!! XD
+Anoushka Rajan thx ^^ I really would like to try and my parents and I are finding classes I could take :D im sure I will love it as well! thx for your input! :)
Okay the people that are saying she is bad, trust me that is VERY hard to do what she is doing. In my school there is posters that say this: THINK BEFORE YOU SAY, and IF YOU WOULD'NT SHOUT IT AT THE MALL DON'T SAY IT ONLINE. So there is some examples. But that is VERY hard to do so please stop the hate.
Sophia Tsoukalas I dont think they meant it that way it was only after 3 classes!!!!!!!! And by all means i couldn't do that at all. especially in three CLASSES I think she was amazing!!!!!!!
Well, yeah. It depends how you look at it. For 3 classes, she's considerably good. But in a way, she's not amazing. She's good, but not amazing. But it all matters on opinion.
Trying to resolve some hate here... Yes, she did do mostly very simple beginner movements and tricks, so I would agree the title is misleading. It's obvious that she has had some sort of gymnastic or dance training by the way she is holding herself and the flexibility. The flexibility wasn't mind blowing but it was more than 3 lessons worth. In beginning silks classes I used to take, we learned almost all of these tricks in the first class. So no I wouldn't call this girl a prodigy, but I wouldn't hate on her either. Definitely not an absolute amazing performance, but she doesn't suck. She executed the simple beginner movements just fine with average flexibility. Not hate please just trying to clear some things up!
ren! ! : did you read the tittle she did three classes and you should respect people more then just saying that the mom/dad was bragging. You should try it see how well you could do it. Be more kind idiot
Cat Eye You are complaining that they are being a jerk when they are just telling a statement that is true because every parent brags about that kind of stuff and u are complaing that they are being rude yet u are being rude by calling them an idiot so really ur the DUMB one here so think befor u say
ren! ! Okay, I don't feel so bad then. I'm sitting here watching and wondering when do we get to the amazing part? I can hang upside down. My youngest grandchild can hang upside down. Did I miss something! Umm, amazing she's not, boring yes, amazing no.
the silk ("rope thing") is super secure and in my 7 years of doing aerials it has only fallen once (nobody was on it and they were in the process of taking it down so it could be washed) Trust me, I was scared that the silk would fall too, but I soon got over it.
Even if she's resting on a knot which also a "hammock" for beginners that is well done. At my third practice at aerial I would remember hearing the sound of 20 year old women moaning including myself which I'm 15 because it hurts, me and including other students weren't even near that good to that 13 year old. so to include from perspective she's amazing for 3rd time of class
"It isn't amazing... those are simple easy moves..".Yes.Those are simple easy movies. But,I can't do all those moviments. That girl has a talent, she REALLY is flexible!Imagine after one year......
0:15 Lmao I do this one for fun sometimes. I just hang there. Anyways: These moves are very beginner and I’m not saying this to insult her, I’m saying it for everyone watching who might be just starting and getting panicked. These moves are very simple even if they look difficult...that’s the beauty of it :) Knots make easier movement and therefore require less strength. The knot is tied at the bottom for extra support but where is the mat? There should always be a mat! As for her performance: very well done for only 3 classes. You can see the moves have been memorised. I would have preferred no knot...but whatever is comfortable for her I guess. BUT IM LOVING THE POINTED TOES AND STRAIGHT LEGS!
+Claire Noelle Smith pole dancing is an actual art that requires extensive strength and training, there is a huge difference between the artistry of pole dancing and seeing an 18 year old girl at strip club who hardly knows what she's doing. pole dancing is a beautiful art when done tastefully.
I am also 13 and have taken around 24 classes and she is In a knot... I could do this In a heartbeat I love aerial and consider myself pretty good for my age (I'm the youngest for my age) and I consider this pretty easy
Lol the title is what gets people to view it so often. Super false title. Not that she isn't doing well, but that's about all I can say. Doing well for a beginner.
the moves she was doing were beginning moves, but I couldn't even climb onto the silks after a few classes because we needed to fully understand how to climb and a few other moves before we climbed to avoid getting hurt.
It's not as hard as it looks, in my first class I was very scared, but when I was there everything went well. To learnd this movements only takes one class.
I see a lot of hate about how much she should be able to do after x amount of classes but my real concern is that her studio doesn't mandate having a mat under her for inversions. It makes me question the studio.
Agreed. If she just started why wouldn't they just assume she could fall
Yeah, there have been times in my classes where if there wasn't a mat, I would injure myself pretty bad
Kaleia youre not wrong but it isnt pretty high, but i do question the studio's height it seems very short
Kaleia TRUE! I didn’t think about the mat thing
Maybe she didn’t take it out / put it away or it’s a personal gym??
The thing that is amazing is that she actually knows how to point her toes! The first rule in aerial is to keep those toes pointed haha!
Yep!
She's probably done ballet or some kind of dance before haha
After three classes and how young she Loks, I think she's doing really good. She has the flexibility and er strength is really good she has pointed toes and straight knees almost in every pose. She did really for only three classes.
I agree, she is excellent!

Very, VERY well said.
👏
Peggy T and to be honest she wasn't great

Some of these are way easier in a footlock but she did very well for only going 3 times. Very flexible!! I wish I was that flexible, keep dancing!
Amazing! I'm so upset about all of the negativity this poor girl is getting. Youre doing great! Keep your chin up darling
i agree she does an amazing job but the misleading thing is the title, that is something people should be able to do by their third class.

THANK YOU!
I've been doing aerials for what will be 7 years in January, and it takes a lot of strength, confidence, flexibility, and the right mindset to do aerials.

Lynda Heveron You're welcome 🤗
This is amazing! I love the song "Breathe Me" and I love aerial silks! Great job!
She's amazing after only three classes! Keep working hard! 😊
Spread love not hate
You look like a natural! I find the hardest part of aerials is remembering the tricks, so well done :)
As a 12 year old who wants to do this, this gave me hope
Anyone else here take aerial classes and think this is not hard at all??😂 she's doing easy poses and it's tied at the bottom
Quinn Melody I can't even stand on that
Quinn Melody |-/
You try. Better not tell me its my fault you fell off and bumped you weak minded brain.
Quinn Melody just cause it looks easy does not mean that it is easy

Erin Dillard they wouldn't be so easy for people who aren't athletic or that are but don't have very much strength
DiamondSquidGirl I'm saying that some of the moves are ones where the silks support you more and that's why they are taught at a beginner level class.
Erin Dillard I know I took 2 and I was pretty much good with the moves but not to good iM only at beginners part
Ok??? Do you need an award for that??
Maybe she just feels proud with her progress and wanted to show off....
For everyone saying this kid isnt much of a big deal i agree, after all beconing a full on aerialist takes months or years of practice, this girl is doing very simple moves that could easily be replicated by a youth class.
amazing is definitely an overstatement. I mean she's not bad but it's just like not something I would watch for 4 minutes of my life
Clarice Shriver same but keep up good work i can't even do one pose so why even talk?^_^

but really it honestly doesn't take much and you don't even need to athletic

So can I honestly so your point and I've been doing aerial for 3 years
emily reny true
this is so amazing. it brang me to tears. please, keep going.
Wow!!! You are amazing!! You made it look so easy!!!! Keep up the good work
I've been doing silks for almost a year, after 3 classes this is amazing !
Ariel with Siena finally someone being positive about this video❤️
Ariel with Siena POSITIVE IS AWESOME I DONT DO SILKS BUT I DO CHEER AND THIS LOOKS HARD
Katie Pratscher me too
She pretty much did what people learn on their first day
I think she is very talented good job girl you're amazing😄

shut the fuck up, how do you expect her to be perfect with less than 10 classes?????
Mazey Tumblez I agree
God Bless Her stop the hate gosh God Bless Everyone

How do you attach aerial silks to the ceiling? I am quite new to this, and I need advice, for rigging.
good I almost cried!!!!

Tory Kay oh yeah don't get me wrong it's definitely fun and quite the experience!:)
I wish aerial tissu was widespread when I was a dancer! looks like fun
If you do gymnastics youll definitely own this
Definitely! I was an acrobat and I got 5 or 6 split roll ups first try
WHY is there a shit storm of negativity in the comments!? Ffs yeah good for you if you were able to do drops after your 3 classes but seriously this is as cool! It's really easy. She didn't do anything. I guess she's a beginner
Did u watch the whole video, I cant even do a cartwheele
mangotofu_ ai cant eather
SHE SHOULD BE ON America's got talent!!!!!
Bubble Games she would have to do a lot more to be in americas GOT talent because she's just hanging upside down
oh really? I bet you could do it after a couple of classes, if you are at least a little flexible. btw i also take classes

I was thinking the same thing. I could tell how she pointed her feet and how they look that she's a ballet dancer, gymnast, or cheerleader.
What I was thinking as well...
I agree with u on all but the flexibility in had that flexibility when I was born and learned an elbow stand and a straddle when I was between the ages 2-6 years old
I agree:D
I'm not trying to be mean so please just don't nail me but have you taken aerial silk classes yet? In my first three classes I learned more than she did but it depends on her physical fitnesss! Her parent/guardian that was recording was probably just proud of her
I just hung mine. How does she make it look so easy? 😆😍 Beautiful!!
It's cuz she has had gymnastics or dance experience that was me on my first class after dance for like 7 years
do you do aerial silk? I really want to but idk what my parents will say, im 14
hiiii.... i do silks and i love it!
I want to try I'm soon 11
+Abigail Mckinnon go for it!!! I've only had two classes but I love it
AWESOME JOB
I want to do this so badly. as a child I would climb everything this is super satisfying
Well I thought it was amazing.. Well done n am sure she can do it spinning around n up in the air by now.. 💙 💚
I've done 3 classes and these are simple moves just put together it looks great thought she has a good form
I would love to take classes but I don't know of a place in michigan that has classes :(
What song is that
Tamya Griffin breathe me by sia
ally bowser g
Great job ! Did she have some gym course before ?
This is so easy I did that my first class!!!
IKR she's not OMG AMAZING like she's good but she's not amazing
ILoveCake I'm 9 and I did it in my first class
ILoveCake
ILoveCake ikr she barely did anything I did that in the first 10 minutes of my class if not five so it's not amazing I agree
ILoveCake same☺️😂😂
I'm 15 on Monday and I want to do this so bad! Also her and the music choice is great!!!
I started when I was nine and I'm fifteen in December. It's worth it in the end, but it takes a lot of strength to do this
Okay the people that are saying she is bad, trust me that is VERY hard to do what she is doing. In my school there is posters that say this: THINK BEFORE YOU SAY, and IF YOU WOULD'NT SHOUT IT AT THE MALL DON'T SAY IT ONLINE.
So there is some examples. But that is VERY hard to do so please stop the hate.
Would being amazing at normal gymnastics help with being good quickly at silks?
Anazing! carry on
After three classes she is OK. Keep up the good work
That's not SO easy ok? For some people may be easy, for some may not be... Everyone has their own time, people nowadays are so... *no words*
+daniele cristina True, but would you call someone amazing, no matter the pace, if they barely qualified for a level 1?
Sophia Tsoukalas I dont think they meant it that way it was only after 3 classes!!!!!!!! And by all means i couldn't do that at all. especially in three CLASSES I think she was amazing!!!!!!!
Well, yeah. It depends how you look at it. For 3 classes, she's considerably good. But in a way, she's not amazing. She's good, but not amazing. But it all matters on opinion.
yeah i understand it both ways AMAZING can be over rated some times
SHES 13 dude
Not hate please just trying to clear some things up!
oh well I guess he mom thought it was cool soo she was bragging about it and thinking that is rare for someone to know it their first class lol!!
ren! ! : did you read the tittle she did three classes and you should respect people more then just saying that the mom/dad was bragging. You should try it see how well you could do it. Be more kind idiot
Cat Eye you are telling ren! to be more kind and you are calling him/her an idiot? 😠😡😤😒
Exactly it’s not her fault
I saw this and I was like.. Wait.. Is that a fuel 😹😹😹 it is. HEY MELISSAAAAAA
I would not be able to do this because I'd be to scared about the rope thing falling.😭
the silk ("rope thing") is super secure and in my 7 years of doing aerials it has only fallen once (nobody was on it and they were in the process of taking it down so it could be washed)
Trust me, I was scared that the silk would fall too, but I soon got over it.
Llamallama05 Jello once you get on the silk it's sooo fun
I take aerial silk and trust me the silks (if they are good) can hold up too 3000 pounds so you have nothing to worry about! 🤗
beautiful!!!!
ummm.... i dont think so this isn't amazing it is extremely easy...
Maili Chisum have you tried?
Jordan Taylor yes of course!! I love sliks and I am very good at it
She is good 👍👍👍👍👍☺️
Even if she's resting on a knot which also a "hammock" for beginners that is well done. At my third practice at aerial I would remember hearing the sound of 20 year old women moaning including myself which I'm 15 because it hurts, me and including other students weren't even near that good to that 13 year old. so to include from perspective she's amazing for 3rd time of class
Simple moves, but great start! She will probably get better quickly. :)
yo tengo 11 años y mi primera clase hice eso y más
"It isn't amazing... those are simple easy moves..".Yes.Those are simple easy movies. But,I can't do all those moviments. That girl has a talent, she REALLY is flexible!Imagine after one year......
she has a starting knot, she does no climbs, this is so easy, i could teach someone this in 10 minutes and im 13
Lauren Cavanagh I've read some comments... I think u're just jealous. Don't worry If u're amazing people will see it too.
Just be happy, live! enjoy!
This is amazing after three classes
shes good for only three classes
I learned all of that in once class
Me too
That's amazing! I want to do this...
Omg I want to try that
That kid got some skillz
Amanda Is Awesome TBH
Amanda Is Awesome I can do that and I'm only ten.👧
Jane Kostka Um I'm ten and I got to this when I was 6. it was easy😒
I do it and it gets very advanced but it is fun (remember to stretch
0:15
Lmao I do this one for fun sometimes.
All she does is pose
Anna Mendez I guess you can say she's a bit of a poser lol (I'm sorry)
My inner Sans
Anna Mendez well it does take a bit of skill but I could do this on my first 10 mins of my first ribbon lesson
Anna Elizabeth 23559 did the title say it was a routine?
Well,it's kinda the point of aerial silk to post and do tricks.
I want to learn silks so bad but there is not a studio anywhere within two hours of where I live. 😭😔
Feel like it's not amazing but good for only 3 classes
The useless white Crayon
That is true but their is a knot ( It is not even supposed to be there)
The useless white Crayon yea
I totally agree
you are very good ... I also do fabric plane ... but I do not do school ... I learned by watching videos of yoo tubbe
I'm 13 and it's my first lesson on Sunday I've done pole hammock trapeze and rope before so I'm hoping it will go okay💆
+Zoe Hodson POLE!?! and your HOW OLD?!?
+Claire Noelle pole dancing is only sexual if you make it that way and it's the same with any other type of dance
+Wiktoria Hatala Finally someone thinks like me :)
+Claire Noelle Smith pole dancing is an actual art that requires extensive strength and training, there is a huge difference between the artistry of pole dancing and seeing an 18 year old girl at strip club who hardly knows what she's doing. pole dancing is a beautiful art when done tastefully.
Shelby Pyles If your 13 and wanting to pole dance, I would strongly recommend trying Chinese Pole :)
I am also 13 and have taken around 24 classes and she is In a knot... I could do this In a heartbeat I love aerial and consider myself pretty good for my age (I'm the youngest for my age) and I consider this pretty easy
What is that song I like it
everyones saying shes so flexible! im way more flexible than her but she gets 19,000 views and i get 50
Lol the title is what gets people to view it so often. Super false title. Not that she isn't doing well, but that's about all I can say. Doing well for a beginner.
Want to do this so badly but cant find a place close to me that teaches aerial silks😕
omg it probably takes a few more classes then that!!!!
really do u do it???
the moves she was doing were beginning moves, but I couldn't even climb onto the silks after a few classes because we needed to fully understand how to climb and a few other moves before we climbed to avoid getting hurt.
It's really not that hard
It's not as hard as it looks, in my first class I was very scared, but when I was there everything went well. To learnd this movements only takes one class.
Are the classes 1 min short or what?
she's not that amazing they are really simple easy moves
How long are the classes?
the fist minute was her doing the same move and waving her arms around
I want to take lessons but I can't find any that will let me in because I've gotta be 16 or older to take the classes that I can find.
Either she's a natural or those are some really good classes
true that
Anneric Barreto that true
Or it's extremely simple and easy to do. Anyone could do that after that amount of time
Goofy Goober no, we are just calling out an obvious overstatement and lie.
