As a woman of color I'm obsessed with this video and super proud to educate my daughter's on these black owned products. This is black excellence, thank you.
I first looked at MyTopicals & thought why would I buy a product made by 2 23 year olds? Then I looked at the ingredient list & was kinda blown away at how many great anti-hyperpigmentation ingredients there was in 1 tube. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks & it’s slowly fading my melasma.
Wow, I am absolutely floored and so impressed. What an amazing resource and how generous of you to do this. I wish I had this 10 years ago! This is required watching for all melanin rich people who want a professional to partner with for skin and hair care. I am so proud of everyone here, it is like I shared the accomplishments! Brown girl and brown skin love!
Why does this video not have more views!? We HAVE to share this! This is amazing having all of these beautiful Black dermatologists and their businesses!! ❤️❤️❤️
FADED by Topicals has changed my skin care game completely. Literally have binned my Hydroquinone 4%. I have used ethnic products for skin & hair for years. This very fair skinned green eyed person with an Irish last name could never find products for my skin tone. Go figure!!!! So: Romanian, Eastern European and African DNA per 23&Me finally confirmed. I cried and feel so blessed...... Amazing blend. FADED by Topicals works for me. Also, can't wait to try some of the suggested hair care products. Thank you thank you thank you my beauties. Subbed fer sure. 💜
This video is ICONIC! 🙌🏾 I have never felt more SEEN and represented in a conversation pertaining to hair/skincare. The lineup in this video makes me overwhelmingly happy! WE ARE HERE AND GLOWING! 😊
This video was not only helpful re: hair and skincare options but as a young black woman it was sooooo encouraging just to see so many black women learned and invested in their craft out hear doing their thing! It’s not that I’ve never seen it but it just makes me feel good every time I do.
Heyyyy Dr. Stephens❤️❤️❤️I was in the right place at the right time💯👌🏽I so appreciate this information. I jumped on the comments without even watching the full video😂I was looking for additional doctors, Esthetican & UA-cam channels of those whom share the same melanin. Thanks again 😘
So many beautiful, melinated, educated, women. Thank you for this video. It was inspiring. I also like that you invited them to talk about the products, rather than just holding up jars and speaking about them.
O.M.G!! Im already a HUGE fan of yours and Dr. Vanitta Rattan! I've learned so much from you both and Im super excited to learn there are even more doctors out there that specializes in SOC ❤. I will be following them and recommending them to my friends!
Wow!! I watched this one twice. I made note of several of the physicians spotlighted and products mentioned. enjoy your channel, please give us more like this. a big THANK YOU
I can't help to embrace the wonderful spirit of Dr.Stephens. She is not competing but sharing important information and growing a professional family friendly network of trusted physicians whose goal it is to provide the best in skin care services and products. Thank You,
Definitely making my eyes water. Being a black woman in any field is very difficult. I love the way you all are networking and able to work together and bring this message. Crazy after two years I’ve never seen this. I hope more black woman join Engineering so I’m not always alone. Forever.
Dr. Alexis; THAT..WAS.THE...BOMB!!! Somehow I missed this when it was initially posted and am just now seeing it over 10 months later. Thanks so much for this wonderful compilation and for all that you guys are doing for our Brown Skin Community. Happy New Year '2022 and all the best to you and your family!! ❤️❤️
Ready for THIS ONE!!!! so grateful for this channel. Went to TWO derms, one helped with acne but did not know how to speak to my pigmentation issue, as a black woman. Watched your hyper pigmentation series, gave me 3 products that have been GAME CHANGERS in 3 weeks !!! THANK YOU, thank you, thank YOU Dr. Alexis!! :-)
Soooo many beautiful, intelligent, and passionate black women! We love seeing the black women of the skincare industry lift each other up! I loved this, thank you. Recognizing and making black history everyday, not just in February 💖✊🏾
What an amazing video!! Thank you for highlighting all the excellence Black women are achieving and sharing their expertise here on this channel, this video seriously needs so many more views
This video is EVERYTHING! I love to see all of the favorites. What I love even more is seeing so much expertise, collaboration and beauty all in one video. 🔥🥰
For those of you that are suffering from eczema, if you remove dairy from your diet, you will never have problems with eczema again. I myself suffered from eczema from a very young child. I remember my great grandma, my grandma and my mom always trying different concoctions to try to heal my eczema. It wasn't until I was well off in my 40s when I decided to take dairy from my diet. It was like a miracle.
Thank you so much for doing this I really appreciate the effort you went to informing us on products and businesses for skin of color. It’s so hard to find nowadays 😭
I am researching products to recommend to my clients. Since most of my clients are women of color, this video is right on time for me. Thank you for making my research a bit less daunting.
I always like the creams you introduced on your You Tube videos but we don't get it here in Canada to buy which is very sad, any way I would like to thank you for your good work for your viewers, thanks.
Yes, yes!! This was an awesome video. I'm excited to try some of the skin care and may reach out to the derm here in Philly! She looks like me so I may need to show her some business love ☺️!
Great video as always ! I'm here for Docs of Colour ! Representation really matters. Could you please do a special morning skincare routine for nursing mums / mums of toddlers ? Would really appreciate it. Many thanks. Love from the UK !
Can you review these black owned skincare brands for black history month this year please? Bergen dermatology, naijabutters, absolute joi, kinlo, bea skin care, nolaskinsentials, beautystat, hyper skin, and unsun cosmetics.
This is amazing, thank you for this Dr.Alexis. Black excellence 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Also, thanks to you I haven’t gotten any new breakouts and my scars are fading since incorporating Azelaic Acid in my routine
Thank you so much for giving us such a verity of black owned derm care. I will definitely send this to my daughter as well. She's on her journey of becoming a dermatologist as well. 🤩
I just found your channel and I am so HAPPY that I have. I have definitely identified some mistakes I’ve been making 😭. Is there any way that you could PLEASE take us back to the basics ? Like helping us identify the appropriate cleansers for different skin types , masks ,toners , and serums ? I see many people layer serums and I want to know if that does more harm then good . I think I need to purchase all new products and I feel so lost lol! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us !!
I use Olay for 50+ women but I am open for other great products. I've shared this link to both my daughters to view and buy these products listed here on your channel.
I’m so glad that I found your channel during these challenging times. I feel so empowered every time I watch your videos. Thank you so much for all of your education and your lovely smile. ❤️❤️❤️
Great video. I was watching your sunscreen reapplication video. You said we have to apply a tablespoon of sunscreen just to the face. I just wanted to double check that you meant a tablespoon. That seems like a lot. I have heard from other sources that we should apply a quarter of teaspoon to the face.
Loveeee this! I think it was very beneficial to see and hear from each of the guests/doctors to put a face to the brand. I have never seen this done before for skincare so this as eye opening! 🙌🏾🙌🏾💙
Rose MD looks wonderful but it also has Shea Butter. Please to the companies with these great products please think about the people with allergies to certain butters and oils, put out a smaller batch same product but excluding the latex ingredients, aloe also has natural latex in case anyone tried these wonderful products and broke out. It would be so appreciated and you will have more sales than you think, it’s a lot of us out here. 🙏🏽
Greetings Dr. Stephens hope u r well n what a Wonderful Vlog.... thanks n I Think this is a Great Idea Combining Other Top Black Dermatologists n Promoting Their Products.... Simply Brilliant⭐️👏👍cause 4 Me.... it’s Helping Each Other n That’s what it’s All About 4 Sure😀n Continued Blessings💜....
For anyone in Canada: these sites do ship up here (except Specific Beauty and GRWN); prices for shipping and taxes will depend on province of course. The most expensive one from my poking around is Luxurious Wellniss...$30.75 USD to ship (to Ontario anyways). But, everything here is a premium. If you're in Yukon, N.W.T., or Nunavut - good luck to you.
I was looking for a moisturizer cuz mine is almost done and bam...you come through with this video. Dr Alexis.....you, my lady, are a true gem. Thank you for the infos
