Hi Juanita, For this project we used a tape supplied by DO-Fix. Very strong, very expensive and you need a commercial steam iron to apply it. There are other products available for sale if you are doing home projects. Check your local fabric supply store.

Hi kim, i watch this videos several time and i really love how you explain everything but i have a question. Do you not use any ribs? what about the weight in bottom. Did you use any weight?

Hi Kim, how do you work the pleats out to get the nice stepped look when the blind is pulled up?

Excellent, thorough videos! i have watched several and read just basic instruction sites but these are the best. I am brand new to sewing and have only sewed a couple throw pillow covers. Can you tell me where i could purchase the RBS system at a good cost. I've checked online but for my window which is 12x29" it's $80. i have all the hardware already but have just been putting this on hold until i found the right video, which i just did! thank you. Leighanne Garrick The RBS system is pricey but worth every penny. I have been using them with my clients for many years and love the performance and quality. Check out Rowley Company DIY website they have a similar system but I think the price is about the same. Thanks for watching our videos and for your wonderful comments.

***** You need to tie there cords off to the bottom of the shade. I use a mechanism called a bauble.
Can I finish the shade without an RBS system?

Lisa S, thanks for your question. Yes you can finish the shade any way you like if it is for yourself. We are bound by different rules as we are a business.
