In this pool lesson I am going to show you every possible way to play one single shot and how spin and speed changes the path of the cueball after hitting the object ball😎 There was a lot of work with this episode, but I think it was worth it. I reeally enjoy producing these videos so much. I hope you will help me to make a grow here on UA-cam. All you have to do is to like my videos, subscribe & ring the bell🙂
Great video! Yes angle, speed and spin determine the final cue ball path. More videos like this please. Thank you for the hard work that it takes in making these for your subscribers.
18 months ago I mapped out a plan to follow in my quest to learn to play better pool. This video came along at exactly the right time for me. It's the best I've seen at showing what to expect at different speeds and spins.
You forgot one spin in this amazing video. My head. It’s spinning a lot now! Seriously, I am wanting to take a screen shot of the wonderful graphics when you show (very nicely thought out too) the three different trajectory’s in many shots. Not only is this a fantastic overview, but also so excellent that you included a point of view making the shot. Seeing that in some cases using English you are almost dead on the ball for left English. I’ve watched this now several times trying to let it all sink in, drawing schematics for the differences so it sits better in my spinning head, and after a few viewings trying to predict the results just before you shoot. You cover really, everything! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for this amazing opinion? Which spin I forgot? There were 9 types of spins and 3 types of speed so overall there should be 27 shots. I am so happy that you found it helpfull!!!
@@MrCueBall It was just a silly joke I made. The spin you forgot was my HEAD spinning because of all the great information and demonstration of all kinds of spin. You covered them all…and did a fantastic job! When someone gets confused or overloaded with information we say their “head is spinning”. I am going to rewatch this video at least once a day, and try and see how many I can remember, or the theory behind. Much of it makes sense, follow goes longer, hitting with different strength changes the angles, etc. I can’t probably remember the ones that I most use (center, draw, follow all with different strength of cue strike) and when I have that move on to English, low left, etc. thanks again!
This is without a doubt the best video I have ever seen on billiards. Your explanation and diagrams are amazing and extremely valuable to anyone attempting to try and learn positioning the cue ball. I will obviously be saving this video and playing it over and over again. To observe what will happen with any given position and speed on a cue ball. WOW. I wonder if you could. Or have done a video on deflection as it relates to spin. At this point that is all my biggest concerns. When I use spin that the deflection causing the object ball to move to the right or the left missing the pocket. Thank you for your dedication. You are a joy to watch.
Ohhh my.... Thank you so much. This is bit older video where I didn't have too much editing skill and currently I have more quality so i am very happy that you enjoyed it and you found it helpful!
Not only did you show the impact and path of the Q Ball from the object ball but also from the adjacent longrell's. No one else has ever shown that before. That's the area that has really impacted. Maybe cause that's where i'm getting in the most trouble. You can be sure.I will be watching everyone of your videos. As they come out. Thank you again
The most complicated concepts in pool is usualy comprised of misunderstood concepts like what you aŕe teaching. It may be simple but very powerful and the most important aspect which as an intermediate player that i always forget is speed is a huge factor in the cueballs path... love your chsnnel so much and please continue what you are doing 🎉😊
Great video amateurs really need a video that shows this with more shot types because many of them grasp the basic concepts but as soon as one small thing is changed they forget how to apply it so someone needs to make a video with the ghost images you edited and show how some shots are similar and how some are different depending on the type of shot.. but excellent video thank you
Excellent. Makes sense. The ball stays on the tangent line a bit longer at faster speeds before bending and thus hits further down the rail. Less forward roll or none at all develops at higher speeds. It is most notable on slow lowball (draw) shots. And of course high center shots (natural angle) are the most consistent and predictable at all. Only thing missing are stun shots.
Thank you very much for your opinion. I think that this wasn't good episode to explain stun shots because I used only 9 specific spins and 3 amounts of speed. But of course I will try to explain it in tge future in different episode🙏
Thank you very much for this comment. I am doing montage of videos in my home. I use DaVinci Resolve 18 Studio. This is free software with really advanced options but I decided to buy pro license because then I have more functions to upgrade the quality or add some nice effects🙏
Good idea do a video on what type of glasses and what the preshot routeen one should have too match there sight .....short sight ,long sight and should you include reading vision if need also
Thank you very much for your comment. For me, it was a priority to start with the shot, which is really the basis for understanding the others. Showing the natural behavior of the cue ball allows us to understand how much its behavior changes under the influence of rotation and speed
THANK YOU FOR GETTING BACK TO ME, IN THE FUTURE IF YOU HAVE ANY FREE TIME, CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER VEHICLE WHERE TO AIM WITH SIDE SPIN? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, AND HIGHLY APPRECIATE FOR YOUR HARD WORK. GEORGE
Love the content, also the glasses. It is diffcult too play with glasses because am short sighted and also need glasses too read....my pool glasses is short sighted only so i have to trust on my foundation and take shots
Thant you very much. This will be funny but when I am making detailed video about cue ball control then I know there will be comment from You😁 Big pleasure that you enjoyed it🙏
@@MrCueBall my practice is going to be much like what you have done here. I will be doing the 3X Drill (see Sensei Nate Plays Pool) but playing 3 totally different paths each 3X to learn which of those has a closer scatter pattern.
I like to analyze physic aspects about cue ball control and position play. This is most important topic for me and always try to improve it in my practice sessions ☺
Grat video , question … everytime when try to use any effect the point of impact change due deflection. ? I mean u dont hit the object ball in the same position if u , use right english , from low center. ? Thats de difficult to apply any spin , cuz the objct ball takes another way to the pocket… true ?, any advice to how adjust that point .??
Thank you. When we applying side spin we need to adjust aiming due to deflection effect and this how much depends how much speed we are using. High speed = highest deflection = higher adjustment in aiming. I wanted to put these informations in this episode but I decided that it will be too long episode. You can find these informations in this episode: ua-cam.com/video/hbprWCwbI88/v-deo.html 🙏
great video.. I wish you were better about distinguishing which line was which when reviewing. Sometimes the red line was the most recent change, and another time the past shot was the red line. But the balls in the corners doesn't really tell us quickly, so that we can watch the video and know which line is red, and which one is white. Something to think about in future videos .. I hope.
Thank you for the comment. Of course, you are right. That's why I wanted to compare 3 shots at a time to divide it into white = low power, red = medium power and yellow = high power. For low and medium power shots, it was enough to simply distinguish between the colors to know which of the two shots was the right one. However, I will of course take into account the amendment in the future so that you do not have to think about it. All the best!
This is really hard to explain here. Depends on what type of software you are using to make your videos. I am using Da Vinci 18 Studio and during montage I prepare lines in graphic program like Photoshop and then I add this to Da Vinci. After this I am using tracking with cropping effect to make this visualization where line is going with cue ball at the same time.
Thank you. I like to use effective ways to visualyze all important things and what will happen with the cue ball if we are using differen spin and speed. This is the best way to understand it and see defferences👊

Tremendous video. Most players have no idea about the changes of cue ball paths.
Thank you very much. This is the reason why I wanted to make this video. To visualize all changes of path due to applied spin and speed🙏

HOW COME YOU DON'T EXPLAIN THE CONTACT POINT WHEN USING SIDE SPIN.
Because that was episode to show how cue ball reacts due to different spins applied to the cue ball. That was not episode to know how to aim🙏
too much talking
