I remember watching this film when I was about 10 years old. This was the first movie that ever made me cry and it was this exact scene that did it. Even 12 years later it still does. If I ever find the women of my dreams/ soul mate, I would without a doubt, incorporate the feels and words Bobbie displays in this scene to her each and everyday. This scene is a excellent reminder to cherish the one you love most in life.

I saw this movie in theaters when I was 16. I hardly ever cried at theaters, and wasn't planning to then even though I knew the ending was going to be sad. I was OK with the guys in the boat as it filled up with water after it flipped. It got a little tougher when George Clooney decided to go down with the ship. Mark Wahlberg's character starts saying goodbye to his fiance....aaaaannnddd I became a complete mess. Good movie though! lol
Fun fact: Adele did an interview and said "Rolling in the Deep" was written with this scene in mind. All of her songs are inspired by movie clips, this being the one for "Rolling in the Deep".
Some guy fed these exact lines to my cousin and she was swooning from how romantic she thought it was. So of course I felt it my duty to burst her bubble by telling her that Prince charming ripped it from a movie.
But what he was really thinking was “What... the... fuck?... no way... no fucking way.... this is it... I’m fucked... fuck... fuck... FUCK!!... no! NO! NOOOO! ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Terrible fishermen. Where ya life jackets at? Take off the slicker suits and hold them as floatations and breathing devices. No wonder they drowned. Cant swim with a slicker suit full of water.
Thats why they terrible fishermen. Duhhh. You can use your shirt or pants as a breathing tool and floating device. What fisherman goes into the ocean without life vests? Its illegal to do so. Derrrr.

It's a very sad scene for sure.
This scene really gets to me, so what I got a sensitive side too. I know when I die I will think of my faith & the woman I love this way for sure.
